Hi stylishmomy, try mo ang optifree lubricant. You can also use optifree multi lens solution. I prefer it than Renu.

^^yes sis, medyo mahirap tanggalin ang contact lens lalo na kung soft. I will try sana the remover at sana madaling mataggal.

i bought prescription colored contact lenses from EO last april, it's supposed to be good for 1 year, but july pa lang unwearable na kasi super itchy na right lens, so i had to go back to wearing eye glasses 
i tried different solutions (septocare/flexlens) pero i can only wear it max 4 hours...
if i use a soap-like solution, pwede pa kaya? any suggestions? TIA

Ive been a contact lens user since I was in college, 20 years ago. But I never had complications kasi I made sure malinis ang pag handle ko sa contacts ko. Try 02 optix brand, it's the best that Ive tried. The solution that I use is the multipurpose lens cleaner Alcon Opti free. Made for sensitive eyes. Don't sleep with your contacts and alternate it with eyeglasses. Kung house ka lang naman, I suggest mag glasses ka lang.

btw, medyo cloudy ba talaga kapag colored lens? natry ko kasi before yung dailies na colored, hindi ako nakatagal kasi cloudy at sumakit ulo ko.

meron na ba sa philippines nung extended wear contact lenses? yung lenses na pwede mo isuot for 7days-30days na kahit hindi mo na tanggalin for that period of time. Kasi daw yung materials nya is made to let more oxygen come in to your eyes. Thanks sa sasagot.

Tingin ko depende talaga sa solutions na ginangamit. Mas okaynsa akin ang Alcon Opti free. I want to try the optix aqua for day and night.

yes there is. But just an advise from a long time contacts user. It is still better to remove and rinse it every night. If you don't need it on for 24 hours, take it off kahit extended siya kasi it will cause drying of your eyes, and you are at risk for complications and infections. Get the 02 optix, the best so far in delivering 02 to the eyes. :-) My cousin kasi used the extended wear, and she developed giant papillary conjunctivitis at di na siya nakagamit ulit ng contact for a couple of months.

100 100 lang naman grade ko...ano maganda brand na di masyado pricey... like ko iyong parang doll ang mata...

I use O2 Optix. Okay siya from my last one na Ciba din ang gumagawa. Mas tumatagal, although medyo mas mahal nga lang. I think 1.3k siya sa Ideal Vision. Grabe ako mag extended wear dito, mga abot ng 4 nights minsan! I thought I was doing something bad na pero dito http://www.cibavision.ca/lenses/o2optix.shtml sabi hanggang 6 days daw. Ang problem ko, wala na sa US website ang O2, puro Air Optix na lang, tapos may Night and Day na pwede abot 30 days extended wear. Tanong ko sa optical ko magkano kasi tamad talaga ako magtanggal lalo pag super pagod. May naka try na ba?

P.S. sa mga gumagamit nung mamahalin na solutions (250+ per bottle), worth it ba yung dagdag na halos 3x compared sa mga cheap lang like Septocare at Solo Care? Doon lang ako dati kasi studyante eh kaso kung iba talaga, I might try. Help naman oh.

Acuvue define for me. It's quite expensive but it's the most comfortable.

yes mas matagal nag dry ang contact lens ko simula nong na try ko yong Opti Solutions.

Oo mas mahal Air Optix eh, and they were around for the same time nung bagong labas. Pero I can attest na mas moisturized siya and mas okay sa long-wear than the old Ciba brand.

Kapag naubos na O2 optix ko try ko naman Air Optix.

I use Air Optix, inisip ko tuloy kung hiyang ako kasi I feel sleepy at most times. Or ewan. Haha!

I tried this solution, nirecommend lang sa akin and I like it. Gusto ko rin ng lalagyan nya.

^Minsan lang din ako mag contacts except kapag kelangan talaga kasi most of the time, inaantok talaga ako haha Di ko rin alam bakit ganun.
