mga sis na nakapunta na sa oasis, can you tell kung masikip or not for a 150 guests ang Orchard ballroom? Im an overseas bride kasi and we only talk via email ng oasis sales.. I like their drapings(based on pics) sa orchard and verandah but she recommends me to book verandah nalang kasi masikip na daw ang 150pax sa orchard which is max of 200pax.. eh haller! 20k din difference sa package nila.. kung mag veverandah ako then i'll prefer glass garden nalang kung halos same price lang sila..

Huh? Orchard masikip daw sa 150? Pumunta ako sa oasis last saturday, and nagsesetup ang hizons sa orchard for a debut party, for 180 pax, 11 seater each table di naman masikip, tingin ko nga maluwag pa, may mobile bar pa nga inside, nasa labas lang ng ballroom yung mga coctail tables.. No worries,i think you're good with orchard for 150 guest , dun din kasi venue ko for my upcoming wedding.

^hi sis! personally i think medyo masikip na nga. pero kasya pa rin naman. we also booked orchard. my h2b wants to upgrade to verandah pero hindi ko feel yung pa-rectangular shape. mas okay sa akin ang orchard. kung need bawasan ang guests, magbabawas nalang ako. hehe. mga 120 siguro sakto na

Sis mas nagandahan ako sa Orchard kesa sa verandah kahit na maliit lang yung orchard.. para kasing mini-pavilion yung dating nya.. ang ganda ng drapes.. nung pumunta ako dun may event kaya kitang kita yung ganda nya

ay okay na sis. kasi i have that pic din. promise ang ganda nya lalo in person i just cant imagine pano mag setup ng 15 tables or more doon. but it is comforting na maluwag pa sya sa 180 pax as said by cassandra0216

Me too, i love orchard compared to verandah, especially the drapes and the balcony, and solong solo naten ang 3rd floor. actually mga sisses nagmock set up daw Hizons sa orchard, sabe ng AE na si Jamie, and kumasya daw sa 220 or 230 ata yun, hehe.. Pero di ko alam kung super sikip na nun. so sa 150 pax, no worries na..

yun din sabi ni ms. ana, our AE naman. maluwag pa raw sya sa 200. so yeah, i think carry na rin ang 150. estimate lang namin yung count ng guest when we visited the place and saw a birthday party eh

pinagpipilian ko rin tong oasis eh. sabi sa package nila, basic sound system. yung sa blue gardens, complete sound system. ano ba difference? teka tama ba tong lugar ng post ko?

basic sound system of oasis is ok, i think pareho lang with blue gardens. got married in oasis last year, and will be coordinating a wedding next saturday. basic sound system can accommodate acoustic band (like what we did), strings, play dvd or video of avps, can be connected to laptop, etc. except if you want moodlights, that's the time you need to search for L/S supplier

Hindi po kasama moodlights sa basic. Kasi ako magaoutsource pa ng moodlights. just make sure to get led moodlights/par lights. If not, oasis will ask you to pay an additional bucks for electricity charges. parang 1500 ish but I think it depends on how many parlights you gonna bring inside.

^ mga sis, as per my AE, they will have their inhouse moodlight.. wait nalang natin mga sis kasi mas mura at the same time we dont need na magbayad pa ng corkage at electricity charges..

Sis kung magaoutsource ba ng moodlights, electricity lang ba ang babayaran wala ng corkage? Kasi ang pagkakaintindi ko wala electricitycharge pag led ang gamit, e since mukhang mura naman makukuha kong moodlights sa labas, parang sa 8led parlights nasa 2k lang.sa iba kasi ang 2k 4led parlights lang.sana wala ng corkages.

^sis, same tayo ng feedback na parang hindi napaghandaan ang GFT ng hizons. ngarag ang waiters at hindi kami naasikaso. we didnt even bother to ask for desserts. hello, magmamakaawa kami for that?! hehe. umalis nalang kami kasi nainis na. i just texted my AE in hizons about our feedback. though to be fair, magaling at mabait ang napunta sa amin. walang charge ang couple's backdrop and we were able to see their sample set-up. siguro kasi sa office nila yun kaya hindi sila ganun ka-busy. right there and then we decided to book purple mint naman cant get over their lemongrass cooler. haha. at masarap almost lahat ng food

hello, we also booked Oasis Manila for our April 2013 wedding. wala pa kameng caterer , Hizon's palang natry namin kaya lang medyo nagaalangan pa ko kase medyo hindi consistent service nila at [textspeak!] set-up very common. We want to try purple mint, ok ba packages nila? how much pala yung ceremony set-up? can you send me sis ng packages nila? also if meron din cvj and lina vitan. thanks in advance!

Last year walang corkage sa electricity na binabayaran ang mga client  pag Led spotlught ang gagamitin, pero pag par -64 ang gagamitin meron corkage.

Verandah yung kinuha namin kasi 200pax ang guest. Gusto ko in sana orchard but hindi talaga kasya. Kasi for sure mas marami pang sa 200 ang dadating.  This is for my mom and dad's silver weddin anniv on june 30 na. The caterer we got was cvj. In fairness the food is delicious. Una kasi hizon's na dapat but nung magdp kami one time sakto may food tasting yung cvj. And mas nasarapan mom and kid brother ko sa cvj. Plus talagang generous sila sa freebies. As in. Tuwang tuwa kami ng mom ko kasi super overflowing ang food and madali kausap yung AE namin na si ms. Gigi

Pag wala bang moodlights pangit? How muh kaya idadagdag pag in house yung moodlights?
