Facebook status has a lot of meanings this days, kaya dapat think before you click. Hubby naman is more on watching videos or reading news/trending link pero di masyado ma post sa fb nag upload ng pics of events.

Kung alam naman ang limits sa pagamit ng social media then this technologies will just make our life easier pero kung mali it will really ruin what we have.

My bf doesn't know my password on facebook and vice versa. We respect each other's privacy but we're free to check each other's account when we're together. You just have to learn to trust your partner and also your instinct ;) He knows naman na I get mad if he likes other photos of girls na alam kong pinormahan niya before lol

IMO, FB does not ruin relationships.
It is the people in the relationship that ruin their relationship.

The Truth  is easily discerned from FB accounts.
Kung malandi ka - eh di it will spice your FB.
If you have an unsavory past - live with it.  If your SO cannot accept that --  better you know earlier than later.
If your commitment is not strong enough -- of course your entertaining alternatives will show up.  Baket ka nga naman asahan pa ng SO mo for the long term?
Each person has innate delicadeza. But some choose to be kapalmukz.  Now, if your SO plays virtual footsies with any ex -- eh buti alam mo he does not prioritize not hurting your feelings.
The main ingredients of Love will show up or not on FB:  Kindness & Respect for the supposedly SO.

I like FB:  Easier to "read the writing on the wall"

Kaya do not blame mga malanding exes reaching out on FB -- blame your SO for choosing to connect beyond simple friendship.  If he can do that on FB, surely he can do more beyond your prying eyes.

Kaya wise my husband, he has no FB.  No FB, no problem he says.  Lol
But I am very active on FB
Friends Ko his exes.  So they see how happy we are
When my exes reach out on FB -- I do not entertain.

at some point facebook really do ruins a relationship. Any kind of relationship. From posting diiferent kinds of status/pictures/videos/tag. Pang bblackmail. etc etc. It also includes deleting of messages na di dapat makita ng partner mo. Creating a new facebook for you to talk to other people ng di alam ng partner mo, so on and so forth. Pero i guess di naman dapat facebook ang sisihin dito, It is still your choice if you're going to ruin your relationship or much worst.. ruin somebody's trust.

a girl i knew asked me about this, nag post siya ng couple pic nila (i think they are dating for about a month, didn't really asked, but she was single last month so that's what i assume), and bothered siya na hindi ni-liked ni guy yung pic nila, i know right, i think it's too early and maybe the guy was shocked kasi it's  photo collage with matching i love you pa lol, ang yung comments pa niya and some people commenting na they should start making babies, buti Brit yung ka-date niya at di naiintindihan yung convo nila kasi baka ano isipin,  pero syempre di ko sinabi kay girl kasi baka magalit sa akin, i knew her but we are not that close para sabihan ko ng ganun, baka ma-offend lang siya, i just told her to ask the guy if bothered talaga siya.

I knew some of the guy's friends so i think kaya ako tinanong ni girl.

I'm guilty of this but Facebook has helped point out red flags in our relationship.

People ruin relationships but Facebook is a portal that highlights the problems.

Yes if you already know what the problem is but haven't addressed it yet. No if otherwise.

honey.mae, if the guy's savvy enough then he can use google translate. my husband uses it to translate comments in cebuano/filipino. it's not a perfect translation but you can get the gist of it.

^ sis, I don't think FB ruins your relationship with your hubby. It is your hubby that is destroying your marriage. Kung walang FB, malamang di mo pa sya mahuhuli.

FB just magnifies whatever issues the two of you already have. it's not the FB per se. With or without FB, issue niyo na talaga yung dalawa. Selosa ka or seloso siya. malandi siya or malandi ka. mayabang kayo. mapagpatol sa kapwa.ingitero at ingitera.. all of it, nasa inyo na yun before you even start using the social media. mirror lang siya kung ano ka or ano kayo as a person.

FB is a good tool for communication lalo na ngayong ating techy savvy generation. But it's the people who overuse it.

Relationships get ruined because of jealousy.
Jealousy of stored memories on your facebook profile (pictures, old messages, old comment exchange threads with exes...)
So it's either you shouldn't deliberately investigate it, OR tell your partner to delete it.

IRL naman kasi, once the relationship is over, it's really over. Text messages are easily erased. Memories are stored just in the mind, not further reinforcing it thru evidences of pictures and messages. Ang mahirap sa FB kasi once the relationship is over, traces of it are still there...and that's what makes it painful (well, for me).

i managed to clean up my fb by clicking on "unfollow posts but stay as friends" button  to some of my annoying friends and relatives on fb. mas liberating mag fb when you only see the posts of the people you like.

Kasi naman, why should social media define a relationship? So it's not official, unless it's "Facebook Official." That's such b******t. Why do you need to plaster your status all over the internet? Think about how deep (or not) your relationship is if Facebook can easily ruin it.
