Hi, I am done with diamond peel and I notice that more pimples appears. Is this normal? What should I do

^nope that's not normal baka na irritate skin mo? Sometimes the effect of diamond peel depends on the skin type

mga sis, san ba maganda magpa DP??? di ko na alam kasi last ako nagpa DP eh way back 2009 ata un, nag avail ako ng package sa Slimmers World sa pasay road, 10 sessions un at ang tanda ko is nasa 6 or 7K un...di ko natapos un buong 10 sessions....


ngayon gusto ko na ulit, kasi although lumiit ng konti un pores ko from using rejuv set ng pscf, eh iba pa din un may monthly na treatment..nawala kasi un mga pimple marks ko before sa DP..

any suggestions where to go? TIA!

Having tried both facial care centers and doctors' clinics, I'd get DP from derma clinics.

Hindi minamadali saka kumpleto sa wand head kasi.

How frequent to do DP? Nagustuhan ko effect nya, ang kinis ng face. Gusto sya i-alternate sana ng revlite

Maganda ang DP ng Nisce. As in ramdam ko yung kinis ng face ko afterwards. Tsaka talagang ichecheck nung aesthetician yug mga rough patches sa face mo. Yun nga lang mas mahal siya compared sa Let's Face It.

^^^ every 2 weeks ang nabasa ko sis for the first 6-10 sessions. i might do that for the first 6 sessions then see from there if i can go down to once a month for maintenance na lang or push to 10 sessions and every 2 weeks.

@young_maiden yes dear. Around 300 plus ata yung facial (not sure, basta asa 250-300 siya) and then 500 yung DP. Yung sa Nisce 1200 for facial and DP, 1600 naman kung may kasaling mask. I always avail kasi of the mask. Mas ok siya compared kung plain facial and DP lang. Mas gusto konsa Nisce kasi ang tagal nung DP nila unlike sa LFI na parang ilang minutes lang. Sa Nisce talagang ichecheck nila kung may rough patches pa. And nagloglow ang skin ko afterwards.

sis there's no downtime. well mamumula face mo immediately after but the next day it's good to go na. no peeling din.

^ i read online na parang every 2 weeks for the first 6-10 sesh then my mom said maintenance of once a month thereafter daw.

^hann-hann depende sa face sis, kapag clear naman ang face or konti lang ang blemishes pwede kahit riight after ng facial magpa-dp but if acne prone ang face or sobrang daming na prick at nakuha na blackheads or whiteheads dp is a BIG NO-NO after the facial. You have to make sure na heal muna ang mga wounds bago magpa dp like wait for 2-3 weeks bago magpa dp para hindi ma-irritate

Hi ladies, would you recommend a DP if the face is constantly peeling? I've been using tret for 6 months now, and I noticed my face has NEVER stopped peeling. Like when I occasionally wear makeup, it highlights the peeling skin. Also, after washing my face, and using toner, I can see the flakes. I know you're supposed to stop tret 3-5 days prior. But will my face still benefit pa from DP if I'm constantly peeling na, or this is as good as it gets? (I still have far from perfect skin)
My number one concern is pimple marks. It's my first time to consider undergoing a procedure, hehe. TIA!

^nope. don't have any microdermabrasion procedure, (DP, PP) while on tret. super sensitive your skin plus it's peeling pa so don't do it kasi it may lead to scabs or any injury lalo na if your skin is di pa sanay sa DP. if you really have to, stop tret for 3 days to 2 weeks depends sa skin type mo. then have your DP. resume tret in 3 days at least. but then iba iba tayong skin so better ask your derma first. from what i was told by my doc, when my skin is peeling from tret, (like you, OA magbalat skin ko sa tret, even if nagtaper down na ako from daily to every other day) she cancels my chemical peel and does not advice me to have DP until magsubside the pagbabalat and flaking from tret. mine subsides though pag no breaks sa application. but flaking will start again once i resume tret 3 days after a peeling or DP procedure.

and to answer your question, yes, DP or any peeling procedure will help speed up what tret is doing for you. just one at a time or at right intervals.

^ Thanks sis! Oh, so you're a regular tret user also. I still really need to have a DP pala, just maybe not this time. My peeling probaby worsened 'cause recently I was taking days off from tret, dahil sa allergy attacks. Ang problem ko ngayon is, if I want a DP, I will have to stop tret for about a week or so. In turn I might get new pimples. Then I still can't get a DP done if the pimples are active. Waaah! Sucks to be acne-prone talaga even in scenarios like this huhu. How about BHA/AHA, sis? Stop din, kahit yung mild lang? My toner has a very low percentage of AHA & BHA.
