wow! naexcite naman ako sa mga activities. feeling ko mas mag mageenjoy kami ni hubby sa gigantes pero i still wanna visit it next time. for now, go na ako sa gigantes. ilan days kayo sa gigantes sis?

I love isla gigantes! Way better than guimaras. For 3nights4 days full board meals we only paid 800+ pesos mostly they serve sea foods., very cheap for 2 persons, we gave the cook 500 pesos tip, sobra kmi natuwa sa 800 pesos na bill for 3nights 4 days, if u wanna go there contact joel decano the tourism officer of the island he is very accomodating he will arrange evrything for you

thanks mga sis.. gustong gusto ko talaga mag gigantes. as in sobra! kaya lang ang original plan talaga and only reason why i booked for iloilo e para pumunta sa antique, which is around 3 hours away from iloilo, for personal reasons and side trip ko nalang sana ang guimaras. hehe.. but after reading blogs about gigantes, parang gusto ko nang idrop ang original plan ko at mag gigantes na ako.

Just got back from my Iloilo-Guimaras-Bacolod trip. Medyo magastos and nakakapagod pero enjoy naman. Super thanks to sis Helga for recommending Kuya Gerald. When we went to Guimaras, I never contacted any tour guide yet because I was thinking of getting a tour guide who will be recommended by the resort. But while we're on the pumpboat, I decided to text Kuya Gerald and he immediately replied and gave us a very good rate since it was 2pm already when we arrived. Ok si Kuya Gerald, kalog at magaling mag take ng pics, mas alam pa nya gamitin ang cam namin kesa sa min hehe. Highly recommended ko sya if you're planning to go to Guimaras.

Sis Chin66ay...yan, na post na ni sis Helga yung number ni Kuya Gerald. Standard rate nya yang 1200 pag complete yun pupuntahan, aside from the list ni Helga, may Sadsad Falls pa yata na hindi namin napuntahan kasi nga late na kami nag start. We got a very good rate from Kuya Gerald, less than 1k for a tour which started around 2pm kasi nga may na-miss kaming 2 spots yata, I forgot kung ano yung isa aside from the falls. Nagdagdag kami ng 100 sa rate na binigay nya kasi we felt na sobrang kawawa yung trike nya sa min, hehe..Grabe ang layo ng Guisi lighthouse, as in nasa dulo na yata ng Guimaras tapos ang dami pang rough roads kaya dinagdagan namin yung bayad sa kanya. Then hinatid nya kami sa Alobijod and 6pm na yata, madilim na. The next day, nagpasundo kami sa kanya papunta sa port, siningil nya kami ng 300.

The good thing about Kuya Gerald is hindi kwela sya and ang galing nya mag picture, hehe...mas alam pa nya gamitin ang cam namin kesa sa amin, kwela sya at makwento tapos humble pa. Thumbs up talaga sa kanya. Ikumusta mo na lang kami sa kanya sis pag sya ang kinuha mo ha? thanks.

just finished back reading mga sis. i have a one way ticket pa lang kasi... im undecided if i should visit bacolod na rin. at least for now alam ko na where to stay in iloilo - One Lourdes; and Alubihod naman in Guimaras.

ask ko na rin mga sis, mas makakamura ba ako if i choose 2-3 islands lang? say seafdec, turtle sanctuary and natago lang ang puntahan? parang gusto ko naman ma-appreciate yung sites at hindi mangarag sa biyahe at palipat lipat... your thoughts please! TIA

Thanks for this thread, I will try your recommendation na si kuya Gerald. We will be in Iloilo on the 2nd week of January and will surely go to Guimaras. I am from Iloilo but never been to Guimaras. Di kasi ako lumaki duon.

Sis, makakamura ka siguro pag 2-3 islands lang kasi per hour ang charging nila. Kaso parang ganun din dahil yung ibang islands dadaanan nyo lang talaga, yung byahe papunta at pabalik medyo matagal din. Standard rate nila is Php 550 for the first hour then 150 per succeeding hour, In hour case, we statrted the tour at 7am then natapos kami ng 11am so 1k binayad namin tapos 2 lang kami kaya medyo mabigat. pero kung marami kayo mura na yun since 8-10 naman ang capacity ng boat so imagine halos tig 200 lang kayo pag marami hehe.

May marecommend po ba kayo for Guimaras tour na jeep or van for atleast 8-10 people? Kasi tiyak di kami kasya sa tricycle.

sis..si kuya gerald din ang kontakin mo, i think may makukuha din sya na multi cab.hindi uso ang jeep sa guimaras, puro sila multi cabs dun. naitanong ko na yan kay kuya gerald before, na if ever madaming passengers, kumukuha daw sya ng multi cab tapos sya ang guide.
