Next month na ang Iloilo-Bacolod trip namin. I was looking online on how to book ferry tickets from Iloilo to Bacolod but I can't seem to find one. Pano ba ang pagbili ng ticket, sa port na ba mismo or pwedeng online?

^sis, no need to book in advance. dun na mismo sa pier bibili ng tiket. every hour ang sked ng trip.

sis, ang van galing sa airport nasa sm city ang terminal pero bago pumunta sa sm city, sidetrip muna sa sm jaro na malapit sa jaro cathedral. dun na kayo bumaba.

yun nga po problemA KO kasi nung magbook ako akalo ko kalibo na clik ko. sa sobrang excited dahil sale non..ayun iloilo pala. but i purchased ANOTHER 1 WAY TICKET this time its from kalibo-manila na..so problem ko kung pano mgcommute from iloilo to caticlan

there's another way but you have to convince the rental van companies to take this route - shortcut ito e though a little risky. instead of passing iloilo city, deretso ka na ng capiz. from santa barbara town (where iloilo airport is), take the highway to calinog town (still a part of iloilo), then onward to tapaz town (capiz) and jamindan town (capiz). once you get to the highway of altavas town (aklan) from jamindan, then you're on the right track to caticlan na.

Sis, meron daw mga free na yung returning fare kapag rountrip and booked in advance? So dapat pupunta talaga dun sa pier mismo to book?

Yes Sis. Maganda ang Garin Farm. Nasa San Joaquin Iloilo siya. Merong swimming pool, hotel, zipline, zoo, plants, kayak, boating.. pwede ka rin mag-pilgrimage.. Basta enjoy kami nung pumunta kami dun. Agahan mo pa Sis para sulit. Pwede pa kayo mag-swimming sa hapon. Sa umaga, ikutin niyo muna ang buong farm. Mura din yung food doon saka masarap. Try their mango shake, sarap. Check their website na rin.

Sis yung van from airport, dadaan muna yun sa SM Jaro. Tapos last stop nya SM City Iloilo. By the way 50 pesos lang ang fare from airport to city na 'yun.

Sis meron van terminal sa SM City Iloilo going to Caticlan. Or pwede rin mag-bus ka, pahatid ka na lang sa taxi going to terminal papuntang Caticlan. Mura naman ang taxi sa Iloilo at hindi mapagsamantala mga driver. Malapit lang 'yung terminal sa Jaro.

Nag-backread na uli ako since next month na ang Iloilo GUimaras namin. Can anyone share yung mga contact numbers ng pwedeng i-hire sa Island tour at sa inland tour? Si kuya Mai lang kasi ang nabasa ko dito, wala na bang iba? hehe..Nakapagpa-reserve na rin ako sa Alobijod Cove for 1 night. Kaya naman siguro ng maghapon ang Island tour at Inland tour since sabi mga 4 hours lang naman ang island hopping. kung mag start ng mga 6 or 7am matatapos kami before lunch then makakapag inland tour pa, tama? Plan namin umalis ng Iloilo papuntang Bacolod mga 5pm.

Can you suggest a better itinerary po? Thanks

buy 1, take 1 promo yun sis. kahit on the same day ng alis nyo na kayo kumuha ng tiket, makaka avail pa rin kayo ng promo. ang importante makapag book na kayo ng return ticket nyo (yun ang advane booking).  di naman hassle kumuha ng tiket eh. just be at the port at least an hour before your planned departure time.

We got the inland tour of Kuya Gerald at 1200. 5pax na kame nun. Kasya naman sa tricycle pati gamit namin.  Sinundo niya kami sa port and hatid sa resort and sundo the following day pahatid pabalik port.

Been to Bearland Resort last Sept. Entrance is Php150. Then pag gusto mo mag-swimming another Php150. Plus magre-rent ka pa ng cottage. For me and my hubby, hindi kami satisfied kasi kino-compare ko yung rate niya dito sa Manila eh. Yung ganyang rate, madami na amenities. Eh sa Bearland 1 adult pool lang and 1 kiddie pool na maliit lang yung slide. Pag sa picture yes, maganda tingnan. Pero actual, hindi naman sya ganun kaganda and not value for money for me...

hubby and i will be in iloilo on january 2013. im torn between iloilo-guimaras or iloilo-islas de gigantes. what do you think mga sis? alin ba mas magandang puntahan sa dalawa?

kung deadma naman sa inyo ang long and winding travel, go na sa islas de gigantes. imo, mas sulit sya. i've read one of our sisses say it's the poor man's palawan, and I agree. medyo nabored kasi ako sa guimaras trip eh. lalo na kung nakapag-coron ka na or el nido, baka hindi mo masyado maappreciate yung guimaras. at least yung gigantes, madaming activities to do like caving, snorkeling, island hopping, at sightseeing sa lighthouse
