Laoag, Vigan and Pagudpud Thread 10

magbabakasyon dito sa pinas yung mom ko this december and she wants to visit sana Manaoag plus ilocos trip nadin.

1. around 15-17 pax kami and may 2 oldies (67 and 70 y/o) so i dunno if ilocos is the right trip for them

pwede naman pero sana hindi na lang land trip kung may oldies kasama. iseparate niyo na lang yung manaoag trip niyo. IMO

3. how many days yung enough na para sa laoag, vigan, pagudpud? is 2D/1N enough? and san dapat magstay considering na may Manaoag trip pa kami on the side?

nagawa namin ng 2 days lang ang laoag-vigan-pagupud. sa laoag kami nagstay. 2 whole days yan though 3 whole days meron kami, pinagkasya namin ng 2 days para tipid sa rent ng van.

Hi, mag plane kasi kami and gabi kami dadating sa Laoag, around 8 or 9pm ata un. Anong mas advisable, the next day i-tour na namin Laoag then Pagudpud-Vigan OR byahe na kami agad sa Pagudpud the next day then Vigan then Laoag uli? Kasi cebu pac din kami pabalik ng manila. Thanks!

I was here again last week with my family and almost same yung fare with last year. In Pagudpud, we stayed at Ate Cathy's Homestay and got the room for 1K/night for 3 pax. While in Vigan, we stayed at Green R Hotel and got a room for 750/night for 2pax + 100 for additional person.

^^ Sis Jhandee, last year I did my Ilocos trip Nov 1-3, weather was good for that 3days. I think any month will be ok as long as walang bagyo.

^ sis Snix - I highly recommend Ate Cathy's Homestay, got the room for 1K/night good for 3pax na yun. Originally its 1.2K w/bfast pero I requested ate Cathy to lower down the rate to 1K and we will not avail the bfast anymore. Anyway, me baon naman kami. And pwedeng makiluto sa kanila if you will be bringing baon. Plus meron free coffee and hot/cold water anytime. In Vigan, I recommend Green R Hotel, medyo malayo siya sa Calle Crisologo and you still have to ride tricycle to go to Tourist Spots but its rate is super affordable, room for 2pax w/twin beds is 750 only. Just add 100 for every additional pax. Room is w/ac + cable tv and meron wifi sa may sala. Malinis yung room and oks yung location, its infront of Vigan Public Market and walking distance lang from Partas Terminal..

^agree ako with ate cathy's homestay. highly recommended if you are looking for a place good enough to spend the night with na mura ang rate. we bought fish from vendors along the highway then pinaluto kay ate cathy that night for our dinner. e may natira pa kaya pinatago muna namin kay ate cathy. the next day pinainit namin ang ulam for our breakfast. solb na!

@sis a.k.a Helga-kat Cathy's himestay ba may corkage fee sa food? between the two kung mas malapit sa mga pasyalan kay Cathy edi dun. na lang kami..

nga how much kaya all in all ang magagastos dito including transpo from manila to here if by land pati back and forth?

^ sis, for bringing food, wala. Just a minimal fee siguro if you will  be cooking there or you'll ask her to cook for you.

  For a really budget trip, 4K per head is enough. Yep! based on my own experience I survived with that money for my whole trip (Pagudpud-Laoag-Vigan). Not including pasalubong.
  By the way, Cathy's Homestay is in Pagudpud while Green R Hotel is in Vigan.

Sila kuya arnel and lenzer, magkano rate nila? Gusto sana namin yung relax na itinerary lang:
crisologo, sand surfing, bagui windmills, pagudpud. Wala na kasi ako time mag-research na okay puntahan at pag-stay-an kaya kuha nalang sana kami ng guide.  We are leaving tom night. =)

Ang rate nya sa amin 4,500 per day... sa amin ang crude, toll fee, parking fee.
When we computed mas mura pa rin kaysa sa ibang tour package per head na minimum of ten.
Taga Cavite ako. PM mo ako kung malapit ka lang sa cavite.
