Travel Deal Voucher (Ensogo/Metrodeal/CCP/etc)

Hi,

Any of you have tried to purchase or use travel vouchers from group buying sites or good deal sites?
I noticed kasi meron mga vouchers na sinasabi nila na ALL-IN with airfare pa.. pag sinabi ba nila ALL-IN, kasama na un taxes ng airfare, fuel surcharge, etc ng airline dun? or un plane ticket lang talaga?

^^ well dapat nandun na lahat pag all in. mag ingat ka sa mga travel vouchers kasi madami ng complaints sa news about travel deals online.

please do not book a tour with PAB STAR TRAVEL AND TOUR of Malolos, Bulacan. hassle silang kausap. kahit pa fully paid ka na di pa din nag iissue ng original official receipt at higit sa lahat a day before lang nila ieemail yung mga travel vouchers and eticket nyo. di rin sila sumusunod sa mga pinag usapa like kung anong airline ang sasakyan at kung paano yung breakfast arrangement sa hotel. mahirap silang kausap, magaling lang sila maningil pero pangit yung service nila. minsan di ka nila rereplyan sa text/email, di sila sasagot ng tawag mo kasi nakukulitan na sila. paano naman sila hindi kukulitin ng customer nila, eh less than a week na lang yung trip wala pang travel documents.

beware, they usually have coupons available at metrodeal for hk-shenzhen tour and meron pa yatang bangkok and singapore tour ngayon. halos every week may mga deals sila, mawawala saglit pero binabalik din nila. you could also find their adds at sulit and their fb page.

if you want a hassle free vacation never book with PAB STAR TRAVEL AND TOUR of Malolos, Bulacan. madami na akong naka email/fb na clients nila na nahihirapan din sa kanila for their tour. although natutuloy naman yung trip, kaso pag dating sa hk, shenzhen, macau may mga hassle din. like yung china visa na group visa sya na kasama mo sa group visa na yun ay mga taong di mo kilala. yung macau tour sobrang iksi lang pala compared sa naunang macau day tour ko. yung hk tour medyo ok kaso feeling talaga naman nadaya kami sa buffet breakfast binayaran namin hindi breakfast at mcdo. ang masama pa nyan yung ibang nag shenzhen tour ay sinisingil pa ng tour guide for the city tour kahit bayad na yun sa manila pa lang. very bad customer service from them.

^imo, much much better to book on your own... sometimes, it's much cheaper especially if you'll be able to get a promo airfare...

Oo nga sis, medyo cautious rin ako pagdating sa travel deals sa group buying websites. Lalo na lately may napapabalitang issues about travel deals. Pero naka-avail na akong travel deals sa Dealgrocer and so far i'm satisfied and walang hassle . Medyo ingat lang tayo mga sisses sa travel deals. Review muna before mag buy.

for me naman, we cannot blame others if they course their travels thru agencies, not everyone has time na magbabad sa Net at mag-online booking or mag-surf re accommodation, etc. that's what travel agencies are for. saka yung ibang hindi naman seasoned travelers, hindi sanay ng DIY, they tend to rely on agencies to do the bookings/reservations. ang dapat lang talaga, quality ang service that they will provide kasi nga you pay them for that.

saka kailangan lang talaga for these travel deals, iclarify mo the terms and conditions. may mga deal sites na naglalagay ng "please confirm travel dates before you purchase vouchers", merong hindi naglalagay, so you have to check. kukulitin mo lang din sila.

nag book lang naman ako thru pab star kasi ayaw mag do it yourself tour yung friend ko. kung ako lang naman kayang kaya ko mag backpacking or do it yourself tour. hayan sobrang hassle talaga. i've booked other tours with other travel agencies sobrang ok naman yung mga yun. yung pab star lang talaga ang pangit ang service. i just want to warn people not to trust pab star. sobrang bad service talaga.

nakakatakot na bumili ng travel vouchers. ilang beses na din nakita sa tv na nagwawarn yung dti about these travel deals, kasi yung iba scam lang. ingat lang sa mga kukuha ng travel deals.

bought and availed travel deal sa deal dozen. at first nahirapan ako calling the travel agency kasi either busy or walang sumasagot the 2 or 3 days that i called. so i decided to call the resort. they got my number and forwarded it to the travel agent. that same day i got a call from them told them my target date and after 1-2 days confirmed na. nasunod naman lahat ng inclusions ng deal. and super happy kami ni hubby kasi ang ganda ng resort. sulit ang nabili naming voucher.

I have first hard experience with these travel deals coz I own one of the group buying sites. On our part naman as the site operator, we really make sure na before we launch our travel deals na verified yung deal value ng travel deal... meaning kung nilagay nila na 10,000 ang value dapat upon closer inspection 10,000 talaga if you book the deal yourself. Sa partner travel agency naman namin, sila mismo yung gumagawa ng packages and they contact the transportation companies as well.

Hindi talaga maiiwasan ang glitches when buying a deal on a GB site. I think the most important thing is for the buyers to read the Terms and Conditions of the deal before they click the "BUY NOW" button and much better if you can call the travel agency directly. If unreachable ang travel agency, call the group buying CSR and they will coordinate with the travel agency or get answers for you. Yun nga lang, you have to know na maraming tumatawag so sometimes it takes 24 hours for the agent to get back to you.

its better to Do-It-Yourself than buy voucher from group buying sites. dnt be attracted with cheap deals coz they giving you cheap service as well, the stress and risk are not worth it. Its a lesson learned for me.

  Hi! sisses good deal na ba yung 3D/2N Survivor getaway sa Capari? nakita ko yung travel deal sa Dealgrocer. Medyo nagdadalawang isip ako kung anong maeexpect ko doon. Feeling ko tuloy super isolated ako sa people pag doon pero i think its more of a relax, ano sa palagay niyo sisses?

Hi, I recently used a travel deal na binili ko sa isa sa mga group buying websites na yan and the result? The service provided suffered also. Anyway buti nalang yung mga kasama ko madaling naka-adapt. Bumawi nalang kami sa mismong lugar.   . And like what Hansky, it's better to DIY.

FYI, I realized na mas makakamura ka pa kesa sa mga travel deals if you do it your own way, it was a tip given to me by one of the locals when I went to Zambales last week (as long as you know how to negotiate).

i don't know if this is ot but we availed 8waves vouchers at ensogo. it says 50% discounted rate.
deal price was P225; orig price was P450 but when we arrived, P250 lang ang adult then P200 lang ata. marami pa naman kaming kids na kasama.

sis greize nakaka-alarm na rin ang mga travel deals, kaya medyo cautious ako sa any kinds of travel deals. I think mas safe bumili ng travel deals sa Dealgrocer compare to ensogo or metrodeal. Or minsan mas maganda pa ang DIY dahil mas mareresearch mo yung real value niya.

Pinag iisipan ko rin kung good deal na rin ba yung nakita ko sa Ensogo na "Golden Tulip Al Jazirah Resort & Spa" na worth 18,503 pesos

true. minsan misleading talaga. parang nakabawi nalang kami kasi binigyan nila kami ng free cottage worth P800. nagkataon kasi, nung on going ang promo, down yung site nila to check. di na rin kami nakapagtanong nung price talaga nila nung nagpapareserve pa kami. sabihin na nating nakatipid kami ng 1k. hehe.

i was planning to get a deal from ensogo for a shenzen trip....i need to research more pa..so far wala pa  naman lumalabas na hoax na group deal sites diba?

Caveat Emptor: Got a chance to talk with a friend. They bought vouchers from Ebay Kuponan for their supposed-to-be Bora escapade. They paid pa an additional of 9k dun sa travel agency para sa extension nung voucher, siguro kasi they wanted to use it for summer season. Then nito lang, when they were about to use it na, bigla na lang daw naglaho ang travel agency. They got to refund yung voucher na binili nila from Ebay Kuponan, but yung 9k nila.. they bid goodbye na.

Mga Sis, hope makatulong to sa mga would be buyers ng trip toe travel. I'm not the owner of the site but like i am of the customers who had a bad experience with the said travel agency and I was given permission to post it to warn future buyers.
