all about RAMEN

I wanna try Ippudo but the queue is always ridiculously long, I don't have the patience for it.

Went to Ramen Bar a few months ago, or was it just last month? It's not how it tasted before. Di na masarap, "improved" broth pa yun ng lagay na yun. Only Ramen Nagi hasn't failed me, yet.

hanggang ngayon, kichitora's paitan ramen is still the best for me. close second is tantanmen by ramen ron. third, nomama's nomama ramen (nakakaumay din pala 'to kapag paulit-ulit. yung paitan ramen kasi ng kichi, kahit ilang ulit! masarap pa rin!)

I tried ramen from three restos:

1. Yushoken, tried their Miso Ramen. Very light ng taste, and malalasahan mo talaga na very natural ng spices na ginamit for the broth. Very chewy din ng noodles. This one's going to be my favorite after Ippudo.

2. Kichitora, tried their Paitan Zenbu no Se and karaage set. I LOVE their karaage! Kaso yung broth ng ramen, very salty. X_X

3. Hanamaruken, tried their Signature Happiness Ramen and boyfriend ordered the Chasyu Ramen. I love the rib, very soft ng laman at ang bigat sa tiyan! Edible and very soft din yung cartilages nya, though may acidic aftertaste yung broth. We also ordered the noodles hard kaso the noodles were quite soft to the bite.

I wanna try Ramen Nagi sa Mall of Asia, any feedback? May option ba sila for udon and soba?

^ Not so sure, pero dun sa menu nila, parang puro ramen lang nakita ko for the noodles.

Pero yup, must-try din sya, especially their basic Buta-o (Pork King/Tonkotsu) and Kuro-o (Black King/Squid Ink) ramen.

Ramen Nagi's original king (butao) is the best ramen that i have tasted yet. Malinamnam talaga siya. Ok din yung side dish niya na fried chicken with dip.

Hanamaruken Ramen in TriNoma is downright amazing!

I just tried Kichitora.

Surprisingly, i loved the paitan ramen! Usually, i prefer pork broth than chicken broth, but Kichitora's chicken broth was pretty good! And the serving was HUGE, i was so shocked! I didn't expect it to be that huge and i was dining alone so i wasn't able to finish it.

I also loved the gyoza!  didn't like the tamago though (Yushoken has much better tamago).
