i finally was able to try tantanmen for the first time. i got it at Ukkokei. masarap siya. pero nakakaumay nga, di ko naubos. pag shio ramen nauubos ko talaga!

my next ramen quest: taste all the tonkotsu ramen i can find! my first stop: Mitsuyado Sei-men's Hakata tonkotsu ramen. mga sis, saan pa ang irerecommend niyo na really good tonkotsu ramen?

If you guys get the chance to pass by pioneer centre in kapitolyo you guys can try the ramen from takashi. Got to try the spicy karage ramen. Parang 2 days straight ako bumalik for their ramen last week. Hehhee

Finally tried Mendokoro Ramenba.  Sarap!  Panalo yung broth super malasa.  We tried the Tantanmen, right level of spiciness.  Next time yung ibang flavors naman.  I liked that limited lang ang menu nila, ibig sabihin they really specialize in it.  Yung tamago nila runny, just the way I like it.  Ganda din ng interiors nung place.

We tried Butamaru Ramen last night in Westgate. I had Tantanmen (my all time fave) and Curry Tantanmen for hubby. Masarap ang lasa nya di ko lang gusto yung masyado matigas na noodles though baka hindi ko lang na specify. We will try again soon.

We tried Tantanmen of Ryu Tomas Morato last night. I like it naman and also their fried pork gyoza. May 30% discount pa yung ramen namin kasi anniversary promo nila.

Finally! Na-try ko na ang Mendokoro Ramenba! Saraaaaap!!!! i ordered Shio ramen with tamago and gyoza. Masarap lahaaat! Mas gusto ko pa broth nila kaysa sa Ippudo. Pero mas gusto ko noodles ng Ippudo. Pero overall, sa Mendokoro ako!

Finally tried Ippudo in Tokyo. Masarap naman pero mas masarap yung Ichiran. Pero masarap yung gyoza sa Ippudo!

OMG, I love Ichiran ramen!

Recently tried Mendokoro's ramen. It was really good. Their chashu pork is divine! Love how tender it was, as well as the charred flavor.

Ukokkei's tantanmen is also pretty good.

I'm partial to Ramen Nagi I'm not that adventurous kasi sandali lang naman kami usually sa MNL... if I try a new Ramen place tapos di ko gusto, I'll regret lang. Sayang lang din calories

Ramen Nagi and Ippudo... once you taste this others will seem lacking hehe.

Tried but didnt quite measure up: Kichitora, Takashi, Ikkoryu Fukuoka, Ramencool, and that ramen place beside PF Changs in BGC (forgot the name).

May Tonkotsu Ramen sa Taisho Ramen.  Masarap cya and the soup is thick.

kichitora paitan ramen is the best for me. mas nagustuhan ko sya kesa sa mga pambato ng ibang faves ko--ramen nagi, santouka, at ikkoryu.

ippudo for me is overrated.

We keep going back to Ukkokei Megamall for their Kumamoto Tonkotsu ramen. Using the garlic press makes it all the more yummier

I haven't try ippudo here in Manila. We tried it in Tokyo. di namin nagustuhan ng mga kasama ko. masarap pero may kulang sa lasa. although na enjoy ng father in law ko kasi masarap yung free na beansprouts. Maka Ichiran talaga kami.
