Hello mga sis,

Hope you can help me naman regarding sa MPNP, I have a cousin kasi sa manitoba and i read sa cic na pwede kami ng family ko under family sponsorhip stream. willing naman si cousin mag provide ng sponsorship. now need ko ayusin lahat, my questions:

1. may balak ako mag apply thru online kasi mabilis daw magprocess, how do I go about it? magregister na ako online?
2. I havent take the IELTS, need pa ba to kahit may experience na ako working overseas?
3. If kailangan talaga ng IELTS, I plan to take it this january then IF makapasa, iscan ko lang yung results di ba together with the other papers (like COE, birth cert, marriage cert)
4. How much po ang needed money na ilalagay sa form? for the family of 5? pwede ba konti lang sa bank account since we have a land title (house and lot)? kaya lang nasa name ni hubby eh ako ang principal applicant, ok lang ba?

2. re IELTS: no need for IELTS sa MPNP. mag IELTS ka na lang if may balak ka mag-aral sa University otherwise no need.
5. Sila hubby, 5 din sila na nagmigrate, year 2005 ata, 18k cad ang show money plus i think tinanggap ang properties and assets. pero malamang iba na ngayon. halos every year may bago kasi sa rules eh.

at least for MPNP ang alam ko hindi required ang IELTS unless na nga lang mag-aaral sa University.

^for MPNP na friend ang sponsor, same lang with the others basta complete documents, i think.

check CIC sis. but i have read in the CIC website that most of PNs are required to take ielts as of July 1, 2012. here's the link --

it doesn't matter if your sponsor is a close friend, a relative, or just an employer. you go by the standard processing. hindi ito gaya ng pinas na palakasan.

@ sis yukai, sis showermist has a point and is correct. if you abide by the rules and regulations and gathered all proper and necessary required documents, then chances are, one can obtain a PR

1. mag register ka na online para kahit pakonti konti nabubuo mo na ang application mo.
may validity pala ang account doon parang 6 months kung di ako nagkakamali. pero basta may updates (like new entry, scanned upload/attachment) hindi iyon isasara.

2. kami walang ielts.. nakapag submit kasi kami before july 1st  kaya na approve pa din application namin pero nangangamba pa din ako..  hindi pa rin assurance iyon na hindi kami hingan ng CIO sa Nova Scotia (received na ng CIO ang application namin nung dec 7th) or ng CEM eventually pero sana hindi na.

3. yup, lahat ng documents na hinihingi i-scan mo lang and upload online.

4. application sa mpnp, bank certificate, pag-ibig tav naming mag-asawa, ang sinubmit namin as proof of funds.. at the time we initially submitted our application may laman ang account namin na P600,000+ after a few months sinoli ko na kasi hiniram ko lang iyon.. pero mga july bigla silang nag request ng updated bank statements... so dali daling nag transfer uli ng money sa account na iyon.. buti na lang that account has plenty of transactions. iyon daw kasi ang tinitignan nila.. kung matagal na iyong account, kung may transactions.. meron kasi ang ginagawa kaka open lang ng account tapos after a few months i-close na din. mas ok kung meron ka ng bank account ng matagal na iyon na lang ang gamitin mo.  ok lang iyong lang title kasi kasama naman sa application ang husband mo.

thanks for the input ha! im still deciding kasi kung sa manitoba or saskatchewan. sa manitoba kasi sure na yung cousin ko na isponsor kami kaya lang sa saskatchewan maraming job opportunities yung hubby ko. we will wait pa siguro after a month then pag wala pang nagreply sa mga inapplayan namin sa sa saskatchewan the will go na sa manitoba.

Questions lang ulit sis:

1. yung mga papers ba like birth cert and marriage cert yung updated na copy from nso or ok na yung last year namin na kinuha from nso? pwede na ba yun ang iupload and scanned ko?

2. I already have COE from my previous company, ok lang din ba na iscan and upload ko na rin kahit yung mga dates nila eh last year or prev years?

3. I already have a bank acct na matagal tagal na rin and marami na rin transactions, if 300k pa lang ang nakalagay dun need ko pa ba dagdagan? kasi meron naman kami assests na land title eh baka pwede na yun?

4. suwerte ninyo naman sis di na kayo inabutan ng IELTS, mahal pa naman mag take nun

5. yung mode of payment ninyo sis, paano? credit card or bank draft? ilang member nga pala kayo sis?

6. yung bank cert at pag ibig TAV need ba certified copy?

1. basta yata galing NSO ok na. wala naman expiry date ang copy ng birth certificates/marriage contract  di ba? parang yung sa amin.. medyo matagal tagal na namin nakuha.. kasi we were supposed to apply 2009 kaso nabuntis ako kaya hinold muna namin ang pag apply namin.

2. COE and job description kailangan mo ha?  pwede naka scan.. pero yung sa COE mas ok yung pinaka recent mo para di ka na hingan uli ng MPNP.

3. naku, pagdating sa bank account di ako masyadong sigurado dyan ha? kasi nag set kami talaga ng amount para doon plus na lang yun sa Pag-ibig TAV namin ni hubby. ang point ko lang doon sa pinost ko eh it doesnt matter kung matagal na nakapondo ang pera sa account mo or kakadeposit/transfer mo lang.

4. yung sa IELTS.. sana nga di na kami hingan maski sa CIO or sa CEM end.

5. naka bank draft kami.. sa metrobank kami kumuha.. idinaan ko dito sa office namin.

6. ang bank certificate.. certified na ng bank yon pag bigay sa iyo ng bank. rerequest ka ng copy sa kanya.. naka letterhead ng bank iyon.
sa TAV naman.. hindi na kailangan certified.. nag request lang ako ng copy ng TAV from pag-ibig.

sis, what will happen if your application for PR was made when you are still single?
damay ba ang spouse sa approval later on? pwede siyang makasama when i move there?

^what kind of visa are you applying for?

Spousal. hubby is a pr.  included in the application are our 2 kids.

Last year, meron kasi silang inimplement na "extension of medicals". basically, if expired medicals lang naman yung naghihinder sa release ng visa, the VO will just ask for the extension instead na mag-remedical, though still subject for approval nung concerned department.

We requested for GCMS notes kasi from January-Manila batch, sobrang naiwanan na kami, everyone else had been given their visas.  We found out through the notes that we were actually approved and was supposed to be issued na ng visa ng July but our medicals expired kasi ng June kaya na-witheld, so as per the GCMS notes, nag-ask yung VO ng extension ng medicals namin nung August 29 but up until now, we havent heard from them.  I found out pa na some of those who received letter from the embassy dated August 29 to redo their medicals had already been issued their visas even before mag December.  I've been checking din sa post office if may letter from the embassy pero wala din.

Nakakafrustrate lang kasi wala naman kaming choice to redo our medicals or ask ng extension ng medicals kasi depende sa Visa Officer.  Last November nag-request ulit kami ng GCMS notes for the second time to check kung ginalaw na ult yung application namin but wala paring update from the last time.
