hi. i just want to give counter arguments on what sis jenny_syngkit has posted. I'm not really sure where that information came from or if there's any truth to that. Mga sisses think about this. GPRS has been in this business since 2006. We have extended our outlets internationally and at present we have more or less 200 outlets nationwide. We have been accepting bills payments since then. If we are not affiliated with Meralco or others, where did the payments go?? Diba dapat un mga subscribers naputulan na ng kuryente? and i doubt we would have expanded that much up to this date kc malamang madami nagreklamo and na-media na ang company. Also, ibabalik lang dn namin sa meralco yan accussations na yan. Bakit nila pinaprocess and nirerereceive un payments from GPRS if we are not accredited by them? Sisses please read and analyze and reconsider before you make judgements  :D

If you want a Bayad Center business, DO NOT franchise from this company. CIS Bayad Center (sister company of Meralco and mother company of Bayad Center) is planning to take legal action against them na. They are not even allowed to display the logos of billers (Meralco, etc) or to say that they are an accredited payment center, because they are not.

really sis? I know someone from GPRS. tanungin ko nga.

I also want to make a comment regarding about GPRS..... I guess sometimes, we can't avoid the negative tactics when it comes to competitions of business... My cousin has their own payment stall and its all because of GPRS....and right now i have established my own travel agency because of it..... so I guess its right that we should make a research before we judge....

mga sisses i agree sayang talaga un limit na 10transactions per day for bills payment. And un mark-up is based on the benefits of the payers instead of commuting or going out and pumila to pay their bills. Ako as a dealer, since ganun ang sistema, I maximize na lang un other services. Un dn ang strength ng business. You get to earn in other services so when you add all up, kht may service na mejo mahina other 3 services can compensate. And also if mabigat para sa inyo un 15k, there is also 7k package. the only difference is domestic lang pwede ibenta sa airline ticketing sa 7k package. other than that meron din po 999package where you can do eload and do remittances internationally

Ako naman personal opinion ko as an IT, GPRS looks good too but the point how capable are they on handling bulk/congestion of services in their database. Do they have Multi-Million funds for upgrade/maintenance and stability of their "so called gateway and database"? Kung ang higanteng smart, globe and sun nakakaranas ng congestion sa peak hours with millions of subcribers and billion of funds eh paano pa sila? In TELECOM para mapanatili mo ang maganda at reliable service you need to upgrade upgrade upgrade...

Hi!

I have been using the GPRS system for our bills payment eversince I took their dealership package last December 2011 and I pay my Meralco bills through the GPRS system so if GPRS is not accredited, ilang beses na dapat kaming naputulan ng kuryente at malamang ako pa ang mauunang magdemanda sa GPRS. It's quite hard to base your answers from assumptions or hearsays from other people or from what you have read lang. Sa dami na rin ng mga naging clients namin who has put up a physical office to accept bills payment including Meralco using the GPRS system, I should have been bombarded with complaints from them already if they are having problems processing the transactions with GPRS.

Anyways, the reason why GPRS limits the bills payment transaction up to 10 a day is because its meant for personal use and for business use as well but not to the point that it will compete with GPRS Franchise package. Kasi sa Franchise ng GPRS unlimited ang bills payment transaction and all the other services like remittance, airline ticketing, loading as well as travel and tours and the franchisee pays 1.2M to compared to a dealership package that only costs 7998  for local and 14998 for global.

But just think about it either with the two packages, unlimited transactions with all the other services such as Remittance,Airline Ticketing and Loading so even with the 7998, ang laki na ng potential for a good business because of the options of the different services you can choose from and you can maximize every option.

GPRS offers both traditional business or you also do the networking to earn income or you can choose to do both. So really, GPRS is offering you all the options you can have either for personal, business or network marketing option. You just have to choose and decide.

I agree sis pink_blush01 that's really a major consideration in this business. since all services offered are done online. the company is still young and yet very compromising and competitive. Of course hindi mawawala, at times, un mga technical/system problems or issues, but there's not much to worry on our part as dealers kasi may full support from technical staffs/customer services worldwide. Also, may mga up to date announcements ang system kapag may mga changes/errors/problems na mngyayari or gagawin. You can even view an inventory of your transactions since you started, no for excel. so any issues that we may encounter are resolved 24/7, in just minutes. Pero so far as a dealer in almost a year 1x lang ako nakaencounter ng problems with the system

GPRS has its own IT system called Unlitech that's why they can hadle bulk transactions in their system and yes they do their own updates and maintenance because they own the system. So even with upgrades, they are always ahead.

matagal na palang pinatanggal ang logo ng meralco sa ads ng gprs. only because they are using a third-party system (hindi direkta sa meralco).

Here's a preview article about Bitag's entrapment operation. GPRS sounds more like a ponzi/pyramiding scheme than a legit business (you earn even without using the service, so long as you keep on recruiting members). Again, take everything you read here with a grain of salt. Especially kung from newbies who's posts are all about recruiting people to join her business.

i must say technical kasi ang business na ito. and it's done online, madaling magkamali. kaya kailangan talaga yung technical training ng staff.

abangan nyo yung press conference ng gprs in response to the complaint, malapit na ipalabas.

personally, before ako ng gprs, inalam ko din kung pyramiding nga ito. ang masasabi ko lang, sa puhunang ipinasok ko para maging dealer kung ang kapalit naman ay 11-14% lifetime discount on my cellphone loads, convenience at time freedom by paying my bills online, not paying high remittance charges every time i send money, buy my airline tickets, and a chance to own a profitable global business from home without investing MILLIONS, it's more than worth it.

i'm in the IT field at alam ko kahit simpleng computer program costs money. how much kaya babayaran ng isang ordinaryong kagaya ko magpagawa ng 4-in-1 automated system so i can do cellphone loading, bills payment, remittance, airline ticketing with just a click of a button?

a Western Union franchise would cost you at least a million pesos. Telcos require bonds to the tune of hundreds of thousands of pesos before sila makipag-partner sayo. Bayad centers put up thousands, if not millions of pesos, to do the business. airline ticketing, how much? ...

sa gprs you can have these for as low as 7,998 lang.

in short, sobra-sobra ang balik ng puhunan ko sa akin. so I can't call it pyramiding or a ponzi scheme.

yun lang po masasabi ko..

^correct. madami namang business na maliit lang din ang capital but not as "controversial" as this one. kung may narinig ka ng bad feedback siguro doble ingat na dapat.

as what alyra said putting up a bills payment center requires a lot of capital (yung bayad center nasa Php3m na yung kailangan mong maipakita na kaya mo i-invest, Western Union I'm sure hindi nalalayo), so bakit kaya ng GPRS i-offer at that price lang (less than 10k)? I don't see it as an advantage but rather a warning sign na baka may hindi tama.

^gprs started operating as a remittance company since 2009. After establishing more than 90 GPRS Outlets (also called as Recognized Business Centers) together with the acccredited 200 GPRS partners around the world, they decided to network GPRS on August of 2011.

one of its vision is to be the leading remittance company in the country in terms of number of satisfied customers served and the number of outlets nationwide. Networking yung nakita nilang way para ma achieve yun kasi masyado malaki ang investment pag franchise - 1.2 million - di kakayanin ng ordinaryong Pinoy.

http://gprsexpressbusiness.com/about-global-pinoy-remittance-and-services/

i can't stress enough the importance of due diligence kung papasok tayo sa ano mang business. sa hirap ng buhay ngayon kahit piso dapat pag-isipan maigi kung paano i-spend.

Sounds like Clixsters din pala. Last month pa ko intersted dito sa GPRS kasi i thought mahal masyado ang franchising, until Clixsters came along. So sa kanila ako nakapag sign-up. It's good to know na pwede din pala mag avail ng ibang package for a lesser amount. Pag hindi ko nagustuhan Clixsters, i might switch. Sa Clixsters kasi 8% lang ang makukuha mo sa eloading and web-based siya. As for e-ticketing and e-booking, kasama na sa package ang international ticketing and booking so wala na separate charge.
