maganda nga ang strip it kasi hindi na din ako nagpapainit ng wax solution. sa akin sa isang applyan lang halos mawala na lahat ng hair, konti nalang tira. parang almost every 2 months nalang ako magwax sa underarm ngayon pero ok pa din naman consistency ng strip it wax solution ko. siguro depende sa pagstore ng solution. just don't store it in a ref or somewhere na medyo warm.

I tried to have "mine" waxed at laybare moa branch... It was my first time to get a brazilian wax there. Uhm, tinanong pa ako kung gusto ko magwash... Nyeh syempre naman... Tapos nung nagstart na, wala man lang prep, direcho agad.... Hindi pala sila masyado malinis?

Nung nagpabikini wax kasi ako before, i forgot the salon, pinagwash ako tapos after non, nilinis pa talaga, bago simulan.

Wala lang, naweirduhan lang ako...

^sa strip naman, they give wipes then you clean yourself. after that, straight to the wax na agad.

Hi! Newbie here!
I just want to share about my waxing experience at Laybare.
At first takot akong magpa-wax because from what i've heard, masakit and kakapal daw yung balahibo ko. And First time ko ito.
Sobrang balbon ko pa naman eversince bata pa ako.
But then, i just want na matanggal na ang balahibo ko, just for a change, nahihiya kasi akong magsuot ng shorts and sleeveless na damit, inaasar ako.
So nagpasama ako kay daddy na pumunta sa Laybare Congressional Branch.
Maliit lang siya but comfy ang feeling.
I planned to get my whole legs and arms waxed.
And so it was.
I got Aira (I forgot kung anong tawag sa mga nagwawax)
Legs first.
Nilagyan niya ng powder yung legs ko then mix the wax.
Cold wax siya so no fear ako na mabuburn ang skin ko.
Natuwa ako kasi di naman pala siya ganun kasakit, para lang kinukurot ng maliliit yung feeling. Tolerable naman siya.
Medyo masakit nga lang dun sa ibang parts like knee, thighs, and back legs.
After ma-wax they will put soothing lotion, medyo mahapdi siya.
I guess it's because all of your hair is plucked.
Then same process with the arms.
I feel glad dahil parang pumuti yung appearance ng legs and arms ko.
That was last february, and since it was my birthday month, they give me a discount.
I got Loyalty card (it was given to every customer) it was supposed to be filled with stickers everytime you visit them.
You are not supposed to wet the waxed part for four hours.
Definitely I'll visit them again to have my legs and arms waxed again.
(My hair grew faster, After two weeks, i can see tiny hairs growing)
I definitely recommend LAY BARE.

^ hi sis! welcome to GT and sa thread.

that's also one thing i noticed when i started with waxing. nakakaputi sya - especially sa UA. siguro kasi naki-clear din yung skin natin from the hair pigments. and don't worry to much sis kung kakapal sya. if you continue with waxing (instead of shaving - lalo na sa legs), mas thinner and mas manipis na yung tubo ng hair.

@slickchick Yes, tuloy tuloy ang pagwawax ko, sa umpisa parang kumakapal, but later on pag tuloy tulor ang pagpapawax medyo nalelessen.

after having regular brazilian waxes for a couple of years, very minimal na yung hair that grows on the area at the top, yung below the panty's waistline..

i noticed that happening siguro after a year of regular waxing.

I finally tried LayBare. Parang mas ok Cold Wax for me than Hot Wax.

Never ko pa naimagine to have Brazilian. Pag bikini wax lang ba paano set up?

Sis may mga pattern sa pagwawax, pag brazilian ata wala lahat, clean siya, pero pag bikini I guess may parts lang na iwawax pero hindi lahat.
Never tried it though.

^Yup, for brazilian LAHAT tatanggalin, hanggang sa butt area. Yung burnik ba yun? LOL.

Tapos kapag bikini wax lang, literal na kapag nakabikini ka, walang sisilip sa gilid gilid na pubic hair.

@~aShLiE~: ako din, parang mas okay sa akin yung cold wax. Before kasi, napaso ako sa hot wax!

never pakong nakakapagtry ng brazilian wax or kahit anong kind ng wax sa part ng body ko. pero it seems that I really need it na "down there" kasi ang bushy na niya.

And I don't know kung pupunta bako sa salon or DIY nalang kaya? kasi nahihiya talaga ako. ayoko ng bikini lang, gusto ko lahat talaga. pag brazilian wala talagang suot diba? nakakahiya kasi baka kung [textspeak!]-ano pumasok sa isip nung gagawa. baka mandiri. haha.

pag DIY, maganda kaya Strip it or nanny Rose? or veet? gusto ko kasi ready na lahat wala ng ipprepare pang kung [textspeak!]-ano. and cold wax sana.

^ Sis kung ako sayo sa waxing salon ka nalang, very professional sila, try lay bare, cheaper sila compared to other waxing salons, and if never mo pa ma-try magwax sa sarili mo, don't try nalang mag DIY kasi baka pagsisihan mo, lalo na sensitive ang part natin 'down there'.
And normal lang naman sa atin mahiya, pero siguro naman madami na silang nakitang 'ganun' kaya sanay na sila. and less hair will grew if maintenance na ang pagpapawax mo 'down there'.

nakakahiya kasi talaga. haha. na-try mo ng pa brazilian wax? balak ko kasi sana strip it kasi dami kong nababsang reviews tsaka no need to prepare so many things.

^ Pwede din strip sis, kung nahihiya ka talaga... And less worries pa, be wise nalang sa pagpili ng strips na bibilhin mo.
