Do you guys know about Dermalogica? A friend told me na maganda daw dun and medyo affordable. Kaso I'm trying to look for their website pero parang wala (weird). Baka alam nyo mga sis?

Dermalogica is an esthetic school in the states.  Is it where she is base?

@ green-aholic, where does your friend go?  Some high end centers infuse brightening serum after diamond peel for a fee.  For dealgrocer members, there is a promo right now for diamond peel at the spa.

kwang sun: ive tried several diamond peel before nagstick ako dati sa slimmers world ang effect is after ako idiamond peel parang may powder yung muka mo na medyo maputi nga. with power peel naman did not notice any difference but it did help minimize my pores somehow.

choco_monster: no problemo. :) sa belo they apply this before extraction kasi para nga magsoften na yung mga dapat iextract. and after ng facial super linis ng muka. at belo they dont use vacuum like the typical facial from other clinics. talagang mano mano and they really take time to extract everything and wala magang muka after and kinabuksan normal na ulit ang face.

I want to have facial. my prob is blackheads/whiteheads, enlarged pores. I'm thinking Belo. How much Glycopeel? I just want to try it. But do I really have to do it like once a week. Pwede ba kung kelan mo lang feel. Hehe. Satisfied naman ako sa skin ko although gusto ko lang ma-freshen up once in a while. I tried Dermclinic before.

I just had my gylcolic peel at the Belo Clinic in Alabang. 1k lang for the Glycolic peel 20% solution. It was really nice and I have to come back after two weeks for another session.

Total Damage: almost 5k.

Doctors Fee: waived
Glycolic Peel: 1k
Obagi TE pads: 2,8k
Sunblock Gel: 330
Acne Astringent:
Glycolic soap 5%: 280

Nagpamahal lang talaga the te pads kasi obagi

If you go to Belo, kasama talaga yan? mahal!

;D

How about Dermstrata and Let's Face It? mukhang ok naman feedback and little less pricey. Hmm.

No sis. It's also a skin clinic to the likes of Clarins. I think it's Ayala affiliated.

I'm just about to finish my 10 sessions in Dermstrata. Pwede interchangeable the ff: facial with diamond peel, facial with crystal resurfacing, or facial with ionto. Pag 10 sessions binili mo, pumapatak 600 per session lang. You can also avail of the 3 sessions at 900 per session.

DERMCLINIC 199p intensive whitening facial:
BRANCH: ATC

ok naman, magaan ang kamay ng naghandle sa akin, accomodating [textspeak!] receptionist. according to cashcashpinoys website its a 9 step procedure..

Step 1 : Washing and Brushing – Removes superfial dirt, oil, sebum and dead skin. Brushing – Removes deep seated dirt and sebum ( oil )

Step 2 : Pressure Point/ Massage – Stimulates muscle contraction to firm skin, Stimulates blood flow for proper nourishment of skin with O2,vitamins and minerals

Step 3 : Steam – Opens pores to facilitate easy removal of oil, dirt, & perspiration.

Step 4: Vacuum – Sucks dirt and excess sebum ( oil ) Promotes flow of blood for nourishment.

Step 5 : Application of Antioxidant Mask – Aimed to counter the effects of pollution and dirt

Step 6 and Step 9:  Application Intense Whitening Mask / Cream - Lightens dark spots and decreases blemishes for a more even, fair skin.

Step 7: Oxygen Therapy - exposes the skin to the nourishing benefits of Oxygen

Step 8: Laser Tone - helps to lessen wrinkles and signs of aging

yan dapat yung gagawin sakin pero i think  what they did is the very basic facial at Dermclinic, they only applied one mask and they didint do the Oxygen Therapy ( sira daw [textspeak!] machine) [textspeak!] ginawa nila sa akin was Step1,2,3, a little 4,5,8 and 9.. ok na sa 199. pero i wont pay 695p (regular price of intense whitening facial) for it... pero babalik pa din ako kasi meron pako isang voucher sayang din..  ;D

^ ooooh thanks for the feedback sis! i've been eyeing their promo nga on cashcashpinoy!

but you know what, i called up the branch near my place, and based sa explanation ng nakausap ko, parang di naman 'intensive whitening' kuno yung facial kase sabi regular facial lang daw yon tapos may ilalagay lang sila na mask (or is it cream?) tapos yun na yung whitening mismo. PERO sabi mga ilang days daw (mga 2-4 days) mag-lalast yung parang instant whitening effect after the facial. is this true sis?

~aShLiE~: the doctor will advice you how frequent you should get your glyco peel. Mine is every two weeks. For those with severe acne cases they are advised to have it done once a week. Ako once a month na lang. It's always your call whether to stick with what the doctor said and if you want to purchase yung prescription nila. You can also ask them for a cheaper alternative kasi usually meron naman sila yung house brand nila belo which is way cheaper than buying Obagi brand.

Had my monthly facial at Natural Skin Story earlier. I was pleasantly surprised that the therapist took care of my milia too. It's always a good experience for me there.

sis vanessa, forgot to check [textspeak!] validation dates, sa akin kasi i bought it last wed same day that the offer expired, tapos inoffer lang cya uli the next day.. i used it agad fri.. pero if the voucher said that validity starts oct22, you can call dermclinic now and ask them for reservation on the date (oct22 and anydate after date) and time that you want para sure na makakuha ka  :)
