from airport going to hotel stella  (somewere in fuente osmena)we rode a yellow airport cab,umabot sa 375 php ang metro... from hotel stella naman going back to the airport reg.taxi,good thing nag-meter yng driver, 218 php lang yung fare..

Hi mga sis,  medyo tight ang budget namin during our trip there this February in transit to Bohol.

Based on sis bubblegumbaby's experience, kung regular taxi from airport to Sampaguita Suites Plaza Garcia, aabutin din around 200 pesos plus din?

How about from Sampaguita Suites Plaza papuntang pier where Oceanjet is, how much din kaya ang metered taxi?

^sis rocky..sobrang init nga kanina..nung nagpunta kami sa M/V Logos, grabe kahit may aircon sa loob ang init-init pa rin..hehe perfect na ang weather to hit the beach talaga

^^sis inchiqueko..i think less than a hundred lang siguro kasi Sampaguita Suites is in Mango Avenue lang eh while yung Ocean Jet is in Pier 1 lang

Super enjoy stay namin sa Movenpick.. Plan namin mag day tour sa Shangrila pero na realize ni hubby na same din naman ang beach front nila. So we decided to enjoy the beach and pool there. I requested for a beach front view and King size bed and our request were granted naman. Tapos they gave us Anniversary cake pa. Foodtrip lang kami, super sulit ang meals sa Casaverde, Chikaan, Hukad at Golden Cowrie. Ang Hukad at Casa verde sa Ayala Mall; Sm naman ang Chikaan at Golden Cowrie. May malapit na Italian resto sa Movenpick, katapat lang ng Shang. Ok din Paella nil a at Carbonara.

sis what time yung sched ng shuttle nila going to sm/ayala?  we'll be staying in movenpick din this april.  super mahal ba yung restos dun sa movenpick?  thanks in advance.

ayaw ni hubby na mag-daytrip sa tambuli. actually, hassle for him yung daytrip kasi he's concerned with our bags.  gusto nya dalhin na sa hotel yung bags then tsaka na lang kami gumala ... so sa city proper na lang kami talaga maguubos ng oras nyan

^kung wala kang check-in paglabas mo wala pang pila pero kung mag-claim ka pa sis ng baggage mahaba na rin pila.

yun lang may check in baggage ako. hehe

^^nung nagcebu kami, wala naman kami naencounter na loko na taxi driver, pero panay tingin ko sa metro at baka may daya kasi. hehe!  pero kung mag-isa ka, mag yellow cab ka na lang kung kabado ka. kasi ako, never mo ko mapapasakay ng taxi dito sa manila na mag-isa. takot din ako.

wag naman sana maka-encounter ng lokong taxi driver. sanay kase ako mag cab dito sa manila. pero syempre iba pag nasa ibang lugar plus mag isa ka lang.

@sis dbum..ano ba oras flight mo papuntang cebu? pag hindi ka makakuha ng yellow cab at sa white taxi ka lang sasakay, kunin mo plate number at pangalan ng driver at let someone know about your whereabouts until you reach your accommodation..hehe so far sis, ako rin wala naman ako na encounter na malokong taxi driver..wag kalang magpapahalata na kabado ka at inosente

dadating ako ng 6ish pm sa cebu. medyo madilim na siguro yon. and traffic. so mas mahal malamang ang fare. hahaha oo nga, kunyari sana nako don. haha goodluck saken! salamat mga sis!

na curious ako sa siomai sa larsian. san banda yan dun sa larsian? may signage ba para hindi ko mamiss out? magkano?

anong masarap kainan banda sa marina mall? malapit na yung marina mall sa airport right? dun na kasi kami tatambay after ng cruise namin c/o islands banca before we depart for manila.

open 24 hours ang fort san pedro?

^ sis yung siomai sa larsian is easily be spotted across larsian or yung sa tabi-tabi lang..there are signage that tells siomai sa tisa..tag 7 pesos each lang ang siomai sis

about sa fort san pedro..i think they are not 24 hours open

san ba makapag avail ng cheaper acoomodation sa  shangrila cebu.   I want to stay there kasi as in dun lang enjoy the amenities.

The scheduled complimentary service are as follows: Movenpick-SM Mall 10am; 2:00pm and 4:30pm. 45mins din from Movenpick to SM kaya super nakatipid kami vs. mag taxi kami. Every night nag set up sila ng mini bar and Projector TV tapos you could watch there while having your dinner. Pumunta kami ng last night namin and checked their menu medyo mahal nga. Burger nila 500++ na. Kaya we decided to go to Italian/Spanish restaurant in front of Shang-rila Hotel entrance.. Good decision naman, try nyo paella at carbonara nila. Walking distance lang yung resto, pwede din naman mag jeep 7.50/pax ang fare..

^^kung wala kang baggage sis makakalabas ka kagad so mauunahan mo yong ibang pasahero, for sure wala pang pila yon. minsan kasi matagal pag nag-claim ng baggage.

Saw the airlines is now on promo and by chance got a good price for Cebu. No hesitation I booked for hubs and I. Now looking forward to our trip  Will be frequent in this thread for sure till our trip. We have no idea what to do nor what is to look forward in Cebu  Adventure!

our group is renting a van pala (self-driven) and we'll be picking it up sa airport pagkadating namin.  no need to worry about the early hotel check-in yay!

revised IT for cebu trip:

day 1 and 2: bantayan
we'll be arriving at cebu city past 6am breakfast muna then diretso n sa bantayan
pag balik namin ng cebu pwede pa siguro kami mag sky adventure since late n naman sila nagcclose diba.

day 3: shangri-la day tour
punta n lang kami ng mactan ng maaga para makadaan n din sa ibang tourist spots s mactan island

day 4: cebu city tour
try namin ng half day ito, then after lunch libot libot s sm for pasalubong

ok na kaya yan? lahat ng info ko nakuha ko lang dito s GT :-)
