I don't like giving the silent treatment. I prefer to communicate and voice out my concern right then and there.
Pero after ko masabi yung issue, kaya ko maging back to normal. Asawa ko ganun din.
We'll have a discussion, minsan may taasan ng boses, but we stick to the issue. Tapos once we've come up with a solution or a compromise, we say sorry to each other and kiss. Bati na after nun. Magbibiruan na kami after nun.

You know why? Because after more than 12yrs being married, and almost 20 magkakilala, i realized ---
Yung mga away namin before, most of them i don't even remember anong pinag-awayan namin. Lol! 😄

So in short, i don't want to make a big deal out of it na. There's no point in doing it. We'll just make each other feel miserable.
Siguro at the heat of the moment we're emotional, pero kung iisipin nyo after 3,5,10 years...is it really that important kung ano tong pinag-aawayan nyo? Most of the time hindi eh so, just let it go. (Unless it's infidelity or abuse issue ibang usapan yun)

Always remember your relationship is more important than anything else. Communication is the key. Kaya for us, we don't practice silent treatment.

But of course, as they say, different strokes for different folks.

That's why I choose my battles kadalasan I let it slide kapag nanahimik na akoi may impact na talaga sa akin though 3 years pa lang kami wala pa kaming big issues talaga more on issues na dapat maiaddress para hindi na maulit. So far naka 5 or less tampuhan pa lang kami. Sa 2 huling tampuhan namin mas maigsi na ang time ng cool down ko.
