Good day everyone! I'm new, always read threads here. Please bear with me.

By the way, I never thought of mattress before and now that I'm moving out of my parent's house, I realized that I was really lucky that my grandmother gave me this Sealy Posturepedic - Savannah Ultra Plush Pillowtop. My friends always say na "your bed is so nice" Even though it's hot, my bed is cold. And ang sarap sarap matulog. Yun pala it's very expensive.
Now that I have to move out, I'm not really sure If I can bring it with me and I never thought that mattresses are pricey!

Im really just starting to buy new furnitures & appliances and I really need to canvass a good & cheap one. On my list is the Salem Primadonna Bed - 60""x75" Mattress P4257 Box: P2614 Set:P6871

Has anyone tried it?

how do you clean your mattresses aside from using vaccuum? bumili kami ng spray ng Truevalue yung anti-bedbugs/dustmites... anyone who has tried this?

yung bed kasi namin ngayon lunod sa ihi, yung anak ko umiihi pa sa kama during night time, naglalagay ako ng waterproof pad, but there are times na naiihian talaga ang bed.

I'm a fan of comfortable mattresses but I surely won't spend hundreds of thousands for a mattress alone even if I have millions. I might reconsider pag kasing yaman na ko ni pacmam LOL.

15 years na itong Salem sa amin at ok pa din. Eto na rin brand bilhin namin for our condo. I just don't know what type to get Sale kasi sa Our Home at 50% off until end of this month.

Haven't tried yung spray ng Truevalue.  Please let us know sis pag natry mo na yung spray and if it works.  I've only tried cleaning my mattresses using the vacuum cleaner.  I heard someone say before na they've tried using yung clothes steamer on their mattress para iwas bedbugs and dustmites.  Yung aunt ko naman nagsabi once na if you feel na may bedbugs daw or dustmites yung mattress or pillows mo, maganda daw ibilad sa araw especially kapag matindi yung init like pag summer.

May nakita ako on Amazon na anti-bedbug and anti-dustmites na bed cover.  May zipper siya so it won't easily slip off the bed.  Wala pa ako nakikitang ganito sa Metro Manila though.

any feedback on Ambassador rest care mattress? naka 50% off kasi sila until end of this month sa Our Home.  may 15years warranty na din, and palit item daw talaga yun pag nag sag. 
Okay ba bumili ng water resistant fitted cover? hindi ba sya mainit sa pakiramdam?

Ambassador is so expensive.  I tried it in abenson kanina 74k yung parang may pillow on top around 12 inches yata yun. Pero parang nasa hotel. Memory foam.

I just bought a new mattress:

Brixton Mattress from Uratex na exclusive sa Our Home.

Pocket Spring+Memory foam topper. Ang sarap. 50% off pa. Problema lang, wala ako nakita info about it online. As in ito lang:

Pero hinigaan naman namin ni bf ng matagal (few minutes) and satisfied naman kami sa comfort level compared sa iba naming tinry. 54x75 is at 18.7k now. Original price is 37k+

Our Home SM North ang may display na pwede matry.

Nagtry din kami sa SM Megamall na Our Home and meron din sila dun maganda. Yung Kensington na Uratex. Ang sarap din higaan nun! naka 15% off lang though. 22k+ for a 54x75 size. Nagtry din kami ng mga Ambassador mattresses pero medjo so-so.

We also went to Uratex Warehouse in QC and checked out their premium mattresses  sa 2nd floor. Maganda yung may latex na mattress nila pero too expensive kasi walang sale.

Yung Ortho nila, masiyadong "shaky" for us. Mas maganda yung pocket spring talaga para hindi mag-shake, IMO.

UPDATE:

Dumating last Sunday yung Uratex Brixton Mattress. Dati Salem Spring mattress gamit namin. Medjo cheap-o yun around 7k. Super sakit sa likod at laging may back ache kami ni BF pagkagising. Now, 2 nights after trying the Brixton mattress, I can say with full confidence na our back aches are gone! Bf has a slipped disc and he has been saying na he doesn't feel pain anymore when he wakes up. I love our new mattress. Try nyo din mga sis. Uratex Brixton, 10" senso memory foam+pocket spring with 15year warranty.

How was your Chiropractic bed from Mandaue? Their mattresses are on sale (40%) and I am interested in getting a queen sized mattress from them (7k+). My back hurts because of my Scoliosis and our foam bed is really firm, hurts my back more. My doc advised me to get an orthopedic bed. Thanks!

^sis, I have scolio too and I used to use an orthopedic bed. It didn't really do much for my back. Hehe.  When getting a mattress, consider also your sleeping position. I'm a side sleeper, so yung mattress ko is not so firm, not so soft. Try Tempur, or its cheaper, local counterpart, Uratex. Sa Uratex they have this "test" which shows which mattress is right for you.
