She is super super nice and mtyaga Nakakatakot pero pag naisip mo naman na mkikita mo na baby mo, mawawala na yung takot excitement naman yung kapalit Hindi sis masakit anes, actually parang normal injection lang naman tapos ifollow mo lang instruction sayo ng anes mo. I was awake nung nanganak ako Ayaw na ayaw ko kasi matulog. So sabi sakin basta behave lang daw ako, di nila ako papatulugin. So ayun nagbehave ako Madali lang sis No complications kasi ako sis kaya ang bilis lang pati yung recovery Basta wag ka matakot :)Relax ka lang

Thanks for the reply sis. Kelan nag wear off yung anes mo? Masakit ba talaga yung sugat pag 2nd day pati pag tanggal ng catheter? And what room did u get? Were you given many pain relievers in the hosp and when you got home? Pardon me for the questions, first time mom kasi at nerbyosa pa. TIA

Nagwear off sya agad sis. kasi sa una super mawawalan ka talaga ng pakiramdam eh. tpos nung nilabas na si baby sa tummy ko, nrramdaman ko na may gingawa sila. pero walang pain. aware lang ako na may gngawa sila.tpos by the time na bumalik na kame sa room, wala yung anes Naku sis ako din sobrang nerbyosa.kaya sabi ko nun kay dra guinto,isasama ko si hubby sa loob ng delivery room. so ayun nawala yung pag kanerbyos ko.kasi kasama ko sya habang nanganganak Kaya navideo din nya hehe Sakin sis, di masakit yung sugat 2nd day. nagccontract lang yung uterus ko nun pag nagbbreastfeeding which is normal naman daw. Binigyan ako ni dra ng pain reliever pero parang 2 or 3 days lang kasi mas madali daw maghheal pag walang pain reliever We got private room sis Ganda ng room tsaka ang laki laki pa kayang kaya mo yan sis!!! Kelan due mo?

hi sis_younglady, I'm also scheduled for CS next week at global city, though I'm still contemplating if I'll be getting the package or not. Questions lang sis, iba ba un fee ng anes pag pinatulog ka compared sa awake ka during the operation and different ba un small private to private room na inavail mo? super tia sis!!

hi sis. december pa naman kaya lang na hrpu ako last week buti overnight lang and was placed under bed rest kaya lalo akong natakot an naging very curious ako with the experience of dra g's patients kasi im mid 30's and very low ang tolerance ko sa pain at takot ako sa ospital.

how long did u stay sa recovery room and ano feeling dun? so when you were being wheeled into your room u felt the pain/incision na? then u asked for another shot of pain meds? Were you able to stand up on the second day as instructed? how abt the catheter? masakit paka tanggal, lastly, ano take home meds for you ni doc, may kasamang pain reliever ba incase u feel pain o wala na talaga. pasensya na sa kulet, super  clueless lang din talaga. girls, I'm planning to give birth in Manila (I'm from Australia) but I can't go home until siguro I'm on my 8th month na. Do you think okay lang yun sa Phil ob-gyne ko? Of course I'd be getting regular checkups here naman pero ultimately, I want to give birth in Manila, particularly SLMC Global. Just wondering if ok lang yun sa mga duktor

Also, yun fees ng mga doctor, included na ba dun yun room? nagtataka lang ako kasi bakit tumataas yun fee nila pag nagiiba rin yun room? My husband and I kasi were eyeing the Ambassador suite sa SLMC.

sharing my experience at SLMC Global City:

I just had my D&C last month (due to a miscarriage), but my ob gave me the package of a "normal operation procedure" supposed to be dapat sa QC pero since full last time at suites nlng available, she suggested that Global nlng since new facilities at the same price din nman daw tpos marami pang rom na mapagpipilian. So we got a private room worth 3500 per night. Overall expense ko is around 43k. 23k for the hospital (D&C procedure, rooms for 2 nights, etc), 12k ang charge sa doctor and 8k for the anesthesiologist since I had general anesthesia. plus minus the philhealth pa kaya [textspeak!] 43k naging 37k lang. At ang service the SLMC, world class [textspeak!]. I have tried other hospitals (during my first D&C) but it was not the same. plus factor din ang OB ko, she's dra. asuncion fernandez. My first ob charged me 25k during my first D&C procedure kaya i was happy na 12k lang siya which is her rate also for normal procedure. Ang nakakatuwa pa sa OB ko, when I'm about to enter the OR (after induced labor for more than 8 hrs), tinawagan pa niya [textspeak!] hubby ko pra makausap ko sa phone (pang motivate lang sken not to be scared and to update him na ipapasok na ako ng OR), ganon ka hands-on [textspeak!] OB ko.Mas mabilis recovery ko ngayon, at sabi nga nya, malaking factor din [textspeak!] [textspeak!] hospital, ganda ng view from my hospital room e, hehe. by the way, kaya medyo maliit ang hospital expense, may ongoing discount pag sa Global ka, like [textspeak!] rooms discounted at all materials, since nga bago at prang konti plng nagpapa-admit don [textspeak!] may thinking na it's expensive.  hope this helps to anyone who's thinking of being admitted at Global city.

Hi! Ganyan nangyari sa akin with my first baby. I'm based overseas (China). I went back to Manila nung 34th week ko na ata.. tapos dun ako naghanap ng OB sa Manila. I brought all my medical records. sa SLMC Global ako nanganak. Super gusto ko dun!! I'm now preggy with my 2nd baby, ganyan din gagawin ko ulit.

For the fees, normal birth ako.. nasa Deluxe room ako.. total hospital bill was 50k for both baby and me. Tapos mga PF naman, 57.5k (OB, Anes, Pedia). May kaltas Philhealth pero since normal birth, super liit lang.

Over all, a very satisfied experience with SLMC Global. Sana may maabutan akong promo for the 2nd baby!!!

Hi sis snitch, D&C [textspeak!] operation procedure for a miscarriage, in tagalog, raspa. dapat nga ang package ko 25k lang kasi according to my OB, no need to get a room to cut expense because I can use the recovery room (which looks like a room na rin, may privacy din) and sabi si husband can wait in the waiting room which is so cozy rin naman like a room din with lots of TV para di agawan ang mga naghihintay and the chairs are comfy pwedeng tulugan. but I have to undergo induced labor since ang tagal ko mag dilate at mag open ng cervix ko so it took me another 12 hours kaya naging 2 nights ako. That's why I was happy also with the services because only a few are admitted there so naka focus talaga ang mga doctors and nurses sa akin.

hi, i gave birth at SLMC QC last aug.21 via c.s. i think we paid around 167k. we asked my ob prior to delivery how much will be the estimate cost and she said around 120k private room for 3-4 days stay sa hospital. i was confined from sat night to thurs am so 5 days lang un. we didnt expect na sosobra that much un bill namin kahit nagextend kami for a day or two. share ko lang

sa qc kasi plan ko manganak sa birthing room nila. 14k per day daw ang charging dun.
so after one day nanganak nako papalipat nalang ako sa private room.
may nakakaalam ba sa inyo if same lang talaga sa qc and global? thanks

^sis, same tayo ng obgyne right? Si dra banal-silao? Ang pag kaka alam ko same ang rates ng hospital services like laboratory. Pero mahal ang room sa global compared sa qc. Better to call pa din sis kasi I got this info ng bago bago pa Lang ang global. Baka iba na or Baka may promo...

sinabihan kasi ako ni Dra na she's rather have me sa Global kung mag St.Luke's
rin lang ako. Pero nakapag decide na rin kami ni hubby na sa QC nalang.
and yeah may promo global ngayon. pero who knows baka yung ibang mga
services or something mahal. so QC nalang talaga kami.

I am planning to give birth at SMC-QC din and I am headstrong and willing to do a natural birth without medical intervention, unless necessary. My OB is Dr. [textspeak!]ñez, and she encourages Lamaze nga. She quoted 50-70k for Normal (with EPI) and 120-150k for CS, barring any complications.

I'm just curious though, do you guys have any idea how much is a doula's PF? Just to help my husband during labor and delivery.
