Hi po good evening I'm reading all the stories and comments po dito and kahit papano lumakas loob ko na baka sakali magkababy pa ko. Anyway I was diagnosed having PCOS when I was only 16 yrs old 24 na po ako ngayon, and right after the day na malaman kong may ganun akong sakit I was frustrated at nawalan ako agad ng pagasa dahil sabi sakin ng OB ko maliit daw ang chance ko mag buntis. So from that day till now yun na ang inisip ko, I never been in a relationship with a guy, I had girl relationships. Dahil sa takot ko na baka iwan din ako ng lalake kung hindi ko siya mabibigyan ng anak. So to make the story short, nakapanuod ako ng both girls na nagkaroon ng baby and dahil sa curious ako nabasa ko yung mga methods na pwede gawin isa na tong IUI. I was wondering lang po kung may chance po ba ako magbuntis kahit na may sakit ako na PCOS? And how much po kaya lahat ng magagastos ko and wala padin po akong donor ang balak ko sana through sperm bank po kumuha magkano po kaya lahat ang magging expenses ko. hello! yes, we did our first IUI last september 30 and we are so happy dahil successful. i am now 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant with our first baby! kay dr. jing fernandez of st. lukes ako and hubby and i are so happy dahil sobrang bait nya bukod sa magaling pa. you might also want to visit her clinic sis, she holds office at St. Luke's QC from Monday-Saturday (excepts tuesday) 1-4pm. sa morning naman sa St. lukes -Global sya.

Hi girls! Im glad I found this thread. Just wanted to share my journey. I am 32 yo and was diagnosed with PCOS since i was about 17 yo. I?ve been with several other OBs in the past but finally settled with Dr. Maria Cecilia Anes of The Medical City. Iam from cavite but when i first visited dr. Anes i felt i had to stay with her despite the distance. She connects with you and would explain things in detail kaya gumaan agad loob ko sa kanya. She suggested IUI procedure if we don?t want to wait longer but it?s not 100% sure daw, around 25% success rate (philippines stats). But that?s a good start naman daw especially for women with PCOS. You can also text her in advance if papunta ka na para you don?t have to wait. She even reminds me ng schedule namin since strict ang schedule sa IUI. I?ve had 3 shots of FSH combined with clomiphene and Progynova (pills to thicken the womb lining since nakakapagpanipis daw ang clomiphene). 1st follicle monitoring was done yesterday and meron daw 1 follicle na pwede. I hope maging successful ang IUI namin this Friday. If anyone here is familiar with Dr. Anes, can you also share your experience with her? Thank you and baby dust to all of us TTC!

Hi Katrina! May chance ka naman even if may PCOS ka. Maraming cases na successful with the help of medication and other procedures, your OB will help you with that. I suggest you find an OB first then discuss your concerns with him/her. Im not familiar sa gastos if kukuha ka ng donor from a sperm bank but for IUI you need to prepare atleast 30K, again depending on the medications na ibibigay sayo ni doc and sa response ng katawan mo sa gamot. Others spent around 70k including meds and sperm washing. Yung gastos with IUI will be spread in about 3 weeks lang so dapat talaga ready ka financially. These figures were based sa doctors and procedures done in manila, hindi ko alam if mas mura sa provinces.

I have a friend who did her IUI at Kato for 11k only. Excluding meds but they were minimal lang. She?s five months preggy now.

Hi! Im so glad to see this thread. I have severe PCOS both ovaries and hubby has low motility rate. We were decided to have IVF at Kato since it?s the cheapest daw according sa blogs and very high success rates. So, there I had my consultations and differente tests. The doctor suggested IUI since we haven?t tried it yet and with letrozole, there are 2 dominant follicle na daw. I am hoping for success and baby.. I got inspiration from the posts. 😊

Just want to share my experience that we had a successful iui with dr. Eileen Manalo- 1st try. Had difficulty conceiving naturally due to pcos and hubby has low sperm motility. We didn?t expect that our 1st iui will be successful. But Dra. Manalo really helped us with the work up/vitamins, etc before iui. Such a sweet surprise and a great blessing. Lines can be long in her clinic, but we don?t mind waiting at all.  I?ll be giving birth already next month and can?t be more excited.

Hi all! Maguundergo palang ako ng hysterogram tom. Praying na di blocked fallopian tubes ko... natatakot ako.. been trying to conceive for almost 2 years now. If ok results, maybe an iui is our next target. Hubby will still check his sperm counts this week. Si dr. Jing fernandez ba ano kaya time sa st luke's bgc or may nakapag pacheck up na ba sa knya recently? Thank you!
