^actually sis, sept 8 2012 ang target pero di pa kami makapag book kasi baka maalangan kami sa budget. waiting pa kasi ng funds si h2b from his project kaya ayun, nauubusan ng slot. malate din ba ang gusto mo sis? saang church kayo?

went to st joseph sa camp crame, mura nga lang ang church at open pa sana for our date pero wala kasi yung "this is it!" feeling. kaya eto, hanap pa ng iba..

suggest ni h2b yung our lady of fatima sa valenzuela, meron bang bride or b2b na doon kinasal? pahelp pls.

^ sis, maganda yung Our Lady of Fatima sa Valenzuela. napunta ako nung kumpil ni h2b. check mo din yung church namin - Our Lady of Victory Chapel in Malabon. nasa loob sya ng Vicotria Place Village so tahimik yung lugar. eto yung site - http://victoriaplace.victoriaaraneta.com/ . mas malapit yan kaysa sa Fatima.

yung clubhouse nasa tabi lang nung church so di mo problema yung venue pede din sa may garden dun. one wedding a day lang sila.

sis angelicdevil, we went to the place kanina, ganda nga!!!! panalo!!!! the size of the church is just right. kelan ba wedding mo? nakapag papencil book kami kanina pero we need to confirm muna with the parish kung saan sila sakop kasi ang napili naming date is a sunday, sept 8 & dec 8 is already taken. bale we pencil booked nov 18. kelangan daw ng approval churva sa parish. separate din daw ang bayad sa mismong parish, parang 5k? ganda rin nung reception venue kasi lahat nung clubhouse pwede mo gamitin. yun nga lang, yung mga rooms maliit lang kasi guests namin is 200-250. pero i think kung sa poolside yung gagamitin, with the right set up, kaya yun... pashare ng ideas, sis. sinong caterer mo and kung may stylist ka... TIA

sis aug23mky I'm a malate bride din, and sayang talaga hindi na available yung date niyo sa kanila... Malate church is one of my favorite suppliers.. as in! for the following reasons:

1. very comprehensive yung seminars nila.. kahit half day lang (2 weekends) marami akong natutunan talaga...

2. They let us check our marriage contract para ireview kung may mga maling info

3. they provide a wedding kit that includes a) 3 modules of mass with a variety of readings, b) guide for the bride & groom, c) do's & dont's, d) guide for the best man & MOH, e) seat plan and order of procession, f) song list for those availing of the pianist/ soloist, g) summary of all items you need for your wedding

4. super nice ng mga pari - even if hindi sila pinoy or hindi namin ka close, we felt that the homily was just right on. Very touching, inspiring... After our mass, the priest went down to congratulate our parents and PS, and nakipag kwentuhan pa sa mga sisters ko..

5. The only church where you have an option to do your vows/ or the entire nuptial rites na nakaharap sa tao, instead na sa pari... that way, your guests are one with you when you do your vows,

6. They don't require misalettes... so less gastos.. kasi when you choose the module for your mass, they have a power point na for that, and all responses will be shown sa screen.

7. pinaka gusto ko sa lahat - BIBO ang mga sakristan! para silang coordinators.. sila yung parang mga manangs sa ibang church - pero hindi sila masungit katulad nga mga manangs, at madali silang kausap.. yung SS, readers, bride & groom need not worry about their parts kasi naka-alalay lage ang mga sakristan.. I didn't have a coordinator during my wedding, but they took care of all church matters...

8. Mahaba ang aisle -- so kung gusto niyo ng drama, eto na! hehe

9. No pressure na mag offer ng anything.. kahit flowers.. just host and wine na provided na nila...

I'm just happy I got married in Malate.. Now that I'm coordinating weddings na rin, pag malate wedding kami, relax talaga sa church.. Alam mo kasing may mga tutulong sa yo na hindi ka- ippressure..

actually sis AltaVida, sa GT, super highly recommended ang malate church. H2b leaves near it pero for some reason, he doesn't want to get married there kahit na ito pa ang pinaka may-drama for the marching and stuff at super gandang effects for pictures, ayaw pa rin nya. He'd rather choose Paco church (not the small one ha) than malate.. hayuuuun!

^ yung san fernando de dliao sis? yung isang kasama ko sa 2011 brides dun kinasal.. ganon talaga siguro sis.. kasi ako may malapit ding church dito sa amin. pero hindi ko talaga dun gusto ikasal.. kaya napadpad ako sa malate kahit taga rizal ako at cavite si hubby.. hehe

I would suggest Immaculate Conception Cathedral sa cubao... Super ganda, i didnt expect na meron palang cathedral along qc aside from Mt. Carmel.. Super mura pa, 9k lang, all in na.. You can check the pics here

chalamat mga sis.. in fairness, ganda nga nung sa cubao ha!!! well... as per my mom, mas mahirap daw ang parking dun. hehe... so far, ngayon mga 80% na kaming decided sa Our Lady of Victory. Plus factor kasi dun is the place is really private! sana lang maging 100% na and may the odds be on our side. hehe

sis, 1st choice ko yung sta. clara de montefalco sa pasig.. nadadaanan kasi namin to papuntang c5 coming from our place... nung nakapasok ako sa loob - isa lang nasabi ko... WOOOOOOOOOOOW!!! super ganda! and super nice din ng mga staff.. kaya ayun nag book kami agad.. they even had this function room sa baba na 10k lang.. kaya lalo kami naconvince magbook.. kaso 2 weeks after magbook kami, sinabi sa amin na i-cclose daw yung function room.. one of the factors kaya namin to binook ay dahil dun sa function room.. kasi hindi maalam yung mga guests namin sa manila kaya we want a reception venue sana na katabi lang ng church.. para di mahassle yung bisita.. perfect na sana yung sa SCDM, kaso ayun na napasara ng engineering ng pasig yung function room nila... kaya ako napunta ng malate.. which is a blessing in disguise na rin..

ganda rin ng OLA sa marikina, marami pang venues na nakapaligid... bakit parang feeling ko mas mahaba yung aisle ng malate kesa sa mt. carmel.. hehe parang malaki lang tignan.. makipot kasi yung sa malate eh...

^ early 2011 pa close ang function room ng sta. clara de montefalco sis. They didnt tell you? When we booked my friend's wedding april 2011 (for dec 2011 wedding) at ayun nga di na daw allowed to do functions sa hall nila.

sis, nice to know na nagustuhan mo yung church. sa nov 30 kami sa mauuna ka pa sa amin. hehe...

punta kayo sa sts. peter and john parish. malapit lang din sya sa church. may signage naman. if galing ka monumento, mas mauuna yun kesa sa victoneta bale ganito magiging breakdown ng payments mo:
1. church -12,500
2. docs/priest c/o sts. peter and joh parish -5k - hindi sila open pag monday
3. soloist/pianist/violinist - 3k (optional ito. pede kayo kumuha ng sarili nyo pero sila gamay na nila yung church)
4. flowers - 1500 c/o Mother Butler Guild. sila na din bahala sa coordination ng church sa wedding mo (ayon sa aking source na kinasal na dun).

i don't think kasya yung guests mo sa 2nd floor pavillion. 100 lang guests namin kaya kasya dun. so ang mangyayari, either poolside or magkahiwalay yung venue, kelangan mo na lang ng livefeed. your choice. i would go for poolside para mas mdaling ayusan kaso since september,better look for tents. or yung 2 pavillions, pero may livefeed dun sa hindi kayo makikita.

ignacio's catering yung caterer ko. affordable sila and masarap yung food. ocular namin on august. yung eloquente nakapagset-up na din dun. siguro better na wag gumamit ng long tables. it would eat up space kasi.

yung sa church, kausapin nyo yung sa Sts. Peter and John Parish. sila na magbibigay ng contact details ng soloist saka yung sa flowers.

stylist ko amanter fleurs. eto FB nya :https://www.facebook.com/amante.fleurs . nakita na nya yung venue and sya na daw bahala. dami nya ideas sa venue sya din bahala sa church ko kasi  kinuha ko din sya para sa church flowers. bukod yung sa Mother Butler kasi kahit di sa kanila yung flowers, kelangan magbayad ng 1500.

rejectkrew nakapagset-up na din dun so alam nila kung paano pagagandahin yung lugar.

i really love the place. one wedding a day lang sila so sa inyo talaga yung lugar tapos ang tahimik, may security guard, maayos kausap yung admin

i agree sis angelicdevil! kung privacy at privacy lang, panalo ang lugar! kasi bukod sa loob sya ng village, may sarili din syang corner so talagang bihira ang di imbitado. hahahaha..

hindi ko nga lang natanong kung nagma mass dun ng sunday.

nung nag ocular kami, may set up for wedding. ganda nung sa church although we were 3 hours early kaya medyo di pa tapos mag decor. hindi ordinary flower set up ang dating kasi base sa theme nung wedding. yung sa venue naman, nag aayos pa lang sila. kung matutuloy kami sa pencilbooked date namin, i'm not worried na kasi hindi na tag ulan ang november. sayang lang talaga at taken na ang december date na gusto namin.. but i do intend na sa poolside gawin then siguro yung photobooth, sa smaller room ipapa set up. di ko nga alam gagawin sa bigger room eh. projected ang 200-250 guests pero shempre, madugong trabaho ang pagti trim down ng number. may mga nirerefer din na caterer sa akin ang mga kamag anakan ko so i will keep my options open but thank you at least alam ko pwede ang eloquente.. salamat sa iba pang info sis..

btw, kung sino pa ang gustong ikasal ng 12-12-12, their date is still open. yung nagpabook daw kasi ng 12-12-12 eh nagpalipat ng ibang date so open pa sya. hehe...

^ sis, yung sunday mass nila sa morning lang, 9:30am. dun kasi kami nagsisimba since malapit lang kami dun. so yung place sa inyo na pagkatapos

pero yun nandyan yata upgraded na. ang kasama sa 1.5k ay 6 pillars sa aisle (3 each side) tapos yung sa altar siguro pa-upgrade ka na lang. maayos naman sila kausap. tulong na din sa organization nila. gumagawa din sila ng flowers for ento.

kung sunday ka sis, mas okay kasi may flowers na sa altar. hehe mabait din si mang domeng, yung care taker. pede mo itanong paano yung magiging ayos ng simbahan. nung nag-ocular kami dun ni-set-up pa nya pati yung kung paano yung upuan ng ikakasal, saan ang parents, mga sponsors, etc. hanapin nyo lang si mang domeng next time na mag-ocular kayo
