Suggest a Church - Thread 2

I have a not-so serious dilemma.  We have 2 desired venues: St. Pancratius Chapel (Paco) and Archbishop's Palace (Villa San Miguel).  The latter is the more preferred one.  I just learned that our preferred dates in June are still vacant in Paco Park, but AP will open for 2015 reservations only in September.

Here's the thing: (1) Do we wait for September to come in order to inquire as to the availability of our preferred dates in AP (and thereby running the risk of missing out on those same dates in St. Pancratius Chapel)?  Or (2) do we go ahead now and pay the P5,000 reservation in St. Pancratius and just forget about AP?

The P5,000 reservation downpayment is non-refundable, so once we pay it, it pretty much seals the deal with St. Pancratius.  We can still change to AP should the date prove to be available, but we lose P5,000 in the process.  What do you think is the wiser course of action?

Check if the 5k DP is transferable. Biased ako sa AP maganda kasi and very serene

Im an AP bride, I can say na may solemn dito kasi closed talaga sya sa public unlike paco park. but both are nice & affordable.

My sister had her wedding at Paco, maganda kasi kasama na ang flowers sa bayad para wala ka ng isipin.

sa AP naman, I only pais 10k-kasama na ang stipend sa priest. i got a cheap & simple flower arrangement for 6k  (marami namang mura sa dangwa)

in summary if you will compare the prices much cheaper sa AP, at ang maganda kasi is the garden.

yes girl, super nice i like gardens kasi.. check my photos ganda pang picture but sa paco park if mga old church ang type mo.

actually the large chapel only costs 7k plus 500 reservation, and optional 1500 for white seat covers & 1000 for priest stipend. A total of 10k, but if you opt the small chapel much cheaper, actually mas maganda yung altar nya but ang cons lang is limited space lang talaga at yung entrance mo ay gagait ka ng stairs sa gilid.

Hello mga sis  Ask ko lang if meron na bang thread dito sa GT for San Sebastian Church? I have checked kasi pero parang wala pa. Unfortunately I am not allowed pa yata to start a new thread  Sino dito ang past brides & b2b ng San Sebastian? Please share your experiences naman..

H2b & I really loved the church pero parang medyo bothered ako kasi mahigpit daw sila sa time which 1 hour lang talaga for the ceremony & photo ops. Every hour naman kasi ang sched nila, hindi man lang evey 1.5 hours  Iniisip ko kasi baka pag nalate ng tapos ng wedding na susundan namin eh samen ang magsuffer. Baka wala na kahit 5 mins. for photo ops, baka kaming couple lang ang may picture sa church, bka wala man lang chance na makapag picture kasama ang families & entourage namin 

Most of the photos I've seen online wala masyadong pictures inside the church after ng ceremony, meron man pero couple lang talaga & karamihan outside the church na yung mga photos. Kindly give feedbacks naman mga sissies, badly need those.. TIA

Hello po! Any Our Lady of Consolation brides here? 20k na yung pabook ng church nila. We still havent booked the church kasi we are still scouting for a recetion venue na malapit. Any suggestions po? Tsaka parang strict yata sila, hindi pwede yung below 5 years old sa entourage. Cute pa naman pag little boys and girls sana. Share naman po experience nyo with this church. Thank you

^For possible reception sis ang alam ko meron silang function hall na pwede mong irent dun. Or you may try Gazebo Royale & Fernwood Gardens na malapit sa prospect church mo.. HTH!

^If you really want there book them thru bridal fair mura lang! Dun kami last year morning wedding 40k lang then evening yata nasa 60k. Old rates nga lang yan.. Kaso di sya ok pag summer mainit since open garden. Try Gazebo Royale may packages sila

We got married last May 17, 2014 at St. Vincent se Paul Parish. Super dali ng transactions, hassle free at mabait pa yung mga nag-aasist. Pati si Father cool. Saka hindi sila super strict sa dress code at lots of parking space. Super happy kami with our choice though it was not the original plan.

Yay! We might change our church kasi hindi masyado accesible yung OLCP for the guests and wala din ako mahanap na reception venue na maganda and affordable near the church. We're now comsidering Sto. Domingo church (yung sa quezon ave). May idea po ba kayo how much rate dito and what are the inclusions? Also, baka may masuggest na rin kayo mga sis na reception venue near the chuch. Yung maganda and affordable😊 thanks!

It's now September, so have you decided on the church na? Did you end up with St. Pancratius Chapel or still weighing things and waiting on AP?

^Took a gamble and going for AP.  Went to AP last Monday (Sept. 1).  They took our name and preferred date/time and briefed us on how the process goes, but Bro. Mark didn't ask for any reservation fee muna kasi wala pa raw silang go signal.  They will contact us daw when we can formally reserve na.
