Kayong dalawa daw ba ang mag-apply ng student visa or isa lang sa inyo? Kasi for example, nagapply BF mo ng student visa, pwede ka niyang gawing dependent.

yup. bale dependent nya ko tas sya lang magaapply ng student visa. kaso ang laki ng show money. 1.2 M daw dapat since 2 married na yung ilalagay ng bf ko pagnagpakasal kami this October.

hi, ask ko lang po. kasi my brother, who'se a holder of tourist visa applied for student visa sa U.S (he's already there), and almost a year na, wala pa daw. nag apply sya nung February 2011, mahigpit daw kasi ngayon, im not sure if he's telling the truth or just shy to tell na disapproved ang visa nya, (pero i think honest naman sya), nagtataka lang ako kasi masyado matagal. how long ba talaga yun? thank you!

Sorry  to rain on your parade but you cannot change your tourist visa to a student visa without going back home  to Manila first  and apply for a student visa with the US embassy. A lot of people already tried  before what your brother is trying to do. What will make things worse for him  is most probably your brother overstayed his tourist visa and overstaying your  visa is a big no no.

go to Global Summit sis. nabasa ko sa FB page nila meron sila program for Clinical Instructors na work to residence visa na ata. inquire ka din muna sa kanila before you decide.

may mga sablay din kasi ang magnifica na advise. up to now, single pa din status ko sa Nz kasi yun sabi nila. married na ko. buti na lang nakuha ko hubby ko thru partnership visa. scary di ba. married sa pinas, single sa NZ.

pag nag student visa kasi sa Nz, after ng schooling, meron 1 year na job search visa. sa 1 year na job search visa, pwede kayo mag work ng kahit anong job, pero para ma extend, need makahanap ng work na related sa natapos na course para ma extend yun work visa. medyo mahirap makahanap sa business or management field ng employer na willing to provide all the necessary docus for immigration purposes. unlike sa healthcare, may shortage talaga.

i am planning to apply for a student visa in australia. yung program n gusto ko kunin is a bachelor's degree in social work, kaso ang worry ko [textspeak!] is diff sya from my degree here in the phils. bs tourism grad ako with 3 yrs experience as a ticketing officer then, i had a 2 yr exp as an asst english teacher sa japan. yun yung yung recent employment ko. i went to idp last week and sabi nung counsellor bka daw marefuse yung visa application if mlyo sa degree/work experience ko. yun ata yung sa Genuine temporary entrant...

di ko masyado maintindihan sis. help me naman. btw, i am holding a multiple japanese visa (spouse visa). i dont know if it would help my application

^sa makati ako nag-apply, sila yung philippine admissions office nung school. august 1 ako naglodge sa embassy kaya naabutan na ako ng bagong rule which is my interview na. after two weeks tinawagan ako, phone interview lang ang ginawa. tapos kinabukasan may result na. nagkaproblem kasi sa family kaya hindi ako tumuloy and nagdalaang isip rin ako kasi wala ako kasama aalis. 9 kaming nag-apply, ako lang ang nagrant ng visa. hanggang ngayon nga wala pa sila balita sa appeal nila.

Im considering australia or canada before kaso naman wala akong milyones hindi tulad nung iba na nakakaalis talaga. wala naman akong makitang ibang means para maituloy makaalis kasi nga walang funds.

Ask ko lang gano katagal ba makakuha ng student visa? Will I have enough time kung November 5 ako magstart? I want to study in the US kasi by Spring Semester (Mid January start of classes). And I will have all the requirements needed (including I-20) by November 5 pa. Enough na ba yung time na yun para makakuha ako ng student visa?

Also unlike what Ive mostly read from here, i am applying alone, without any assistance from a consulting company or something.

hello sahjane, i saw your post sa isang thread na march 2012 na grant ka ng working visa na , ano na po status mo Permanent resident ka na ba ngayon? how are male nurses there? okay naman ba kasi balak ng asawa ko pumunta din diyan . thank you miss sahjane.

@sis brandi: medyo mabigat talaga iyong financial requirement pero you can ask relatives naman to help. I think you can ask up to 3 sponsors para ma-meet iyong requirement. Maganda iyang profession mo kasi may shortage daw ngayon sa Australia.

as much as possible kasi ayoko na humingi pa pera. im considering [textspeak!] na din, just today 3 tumawag sakin for known hospitals there. pag hindi tumawag yung inapplyan kong pharma company dito sa atin, baka igrab ko na lang yun. and in fairness, maganda ganda ang offer, lately kasi bihira yung sumasampa ng 40k ang starting ng nurses for [textspeak!] mga abuso sila hehe

hi sis, 1year pa lang ako dito sa NZ di pa ko resident. working visa pa lang. waiting pa ko for CAP school. may shortage pa din ng nurses dito sis kaya magkakawork pa din hubby mo dito once maging NZRN na sya.

inquire in schools there sis if meron ma credit sa subjects mo.. i have inquired before and accomodating naman sila..

some of the websites na tinignan ko mentioned about WES, yung system ata yun na ie-evaluate yung school transcripts mo para ma-determine kung anong equivalent nya sa Canadian system. ginamit mo ba yun? has anyone used that system?
