Hi everyone. Finally had my Rhinoplasty (Goretex implant -- with alarplasty, osteotomy and tip plasty using my ear cartilage) yesterday. I'm at my rented pad now, resting. I picked Dr. Eric Yapjuanco of The Icon Clinic because of the positive reviews I read about him sa kabilang forum and also because of his impressive credentials. Mabilis din sya mg reply and his explanations are always very clear, honest and on time.

Everything is still swollen but judging from how my nose looked minutes after the surgery, this is going to be all worth it.

For those who will ask for before and after pics, I will send them via email after two weeks. For now, I need to rest and recover.

Rhinoplasty is not for everyone. It's not completely painless and sabi nga, tiis ganda talaga. For those of you who are really decided, go for it but do make sure you're prepared financially, psychologically, and of course physically.

you really have to be prepared emotionally as well, more than anything else. :-) had mine done by dr. yudha and dr. claravall. goretex. it turned out natural naman. :-)

Its really too early to tell the final result from one month out so I think you should wait 5 to 7 more months before any decision for additional surgery/refinement can be made. Tip might drop a little on its own but my suggestion is to at least get some pic morphing software and experiment.

However, If you really want to see what you would look in 3D, do what I did and get two identical face casts and cast them in white plaster then alter the nose on one of them with "air dry" white clay.

You can then compare the two of them side by side in order to make an extremely accurate assessment of what strikes you as more beautiful. You can even photograph these castings from different angles and then use pic software to give it the right skin color and texture so that the pics of these castings become very realistic representation of what you will really look like.

In my opinion, its more time consuming but in the end it is a much better approach and more accurate than just using the standard morphing software that surgeons use. I actually brought my castings to my consult so I that I could virtually insure that there could be absolutely no misunderstanding about what I wanted aesthetically.
I think the surgeon was impressed with the approach. I dont even think my surgeon truly understood what I wanted until I showed him the castings then everything became crystal clear."

Hello mga sis new lang ako dito pero i had my rinoplasty done ng 2011 sa shimmian maganda sana ang gawa kaso tabingi maganda sha pag naka side pati yung tip maganda din gortex ang ginamit nd cartilage sa tip kaso shempre hindi kanaman owedeng makipag usap ng naka side view ka db kaya minsan wala akong confidence lalo na pag feeling ko tinititigan nose ko:( altohugh sabi ng iba hindi daw halata yung tabingi unless titgas pero pag nakita mo na talaga na tabingi halata talaga sha pato nostrils ko hindi din pantay mas maliit tas ng left. Right ng bumalik ako ng shimmian lasr 2weeks ayaw ni doc libay ayusin gusto nya correct nalang daw ng fillers whic i dont want kase gusto ko ayusin pati nostrils and yung bridge ang paling e he ask me 75k for fillers for the whole face daw kasama ilong kase may lines nadaw ako sa side n ilong and im only 28 ha!anyway  di ako pumayag kase thats not what i wanted to do kaya nag pa tingin ako kay dr deleon and dr james joaquino sa summet 1  dr deleon asking for 50k for nostrils lang parang ang mahal naman for nostril lang..then i wnet to dr joanquino 45k all in all nadaw gusto nya ayusin lahat since sa bridge daw yung paling kase kung nostril lang baka di daw ako ma satisfied...im mistisa looking kase sabi nya madali lang daw ayusin yung sakin since caucasian look daw ako  kaya baka im planning sakanya nalang ako mag pagawa...   
 May mga sis ba tayo na sakanya nag pagawa?kamusta naman okay naman ba?he also recommend pala na silicon nalang daw ang ipalit sa gortex kase if ever daw na in the future gusto ko patangal or revision mas madali daw matangal unlike sa gortex daw sobrang hirap daw himayin minsan nasisisra yung nose..eh sakin naman sana last revision na to kaya sana gusto ko gortex nalang yung silicon kase parang may stick minsan tingnan although may mga friends naman ako na maganda din pag kakagaw e kaso baka naman ako yung msging isa na mukhang may stick sa nose   any advice mga sis?

Hi sis Shanmar, Have you tried Dr. Collantes- Jose or Eric Yapjuanco? I email them at responsive naman sila. parehas ang price range ng mga procedures skanila, but i opted to go to Dr. CCJ mag pa consult. Sorry sa mga nag pagawa sa Shimmian ha, pero dami bad reviews naako na babasa tungkol skanila and because of the high price din pero hinde maman happy mga patients after. Dr. CCJs clinic is open M-F 3-7 pm which is really a bummer for me kasi Sat and sun ang off ko so ewan ko kung may ooperahan sila ng saturday baka puede ako sumingit.

Hi sis di ko memorize number nya nasab fb nya eh hanapin mo Dr. Corazon Collantes- Jose. Tapos this Saturday may clinic daw sya 10 am - 2 pm punta ka para sabay tayo. Gusto ko rin mag pa consult kay Dr. Galvez sa Pasay rd malapit lang sa Glorrietta. As much as possible sana sana lang hinde na nya ako lagyan ng implant kasi kahit anong implant may risks. Buti ka caucasian na ang features ako kasi medyo hinde. Di ako singkit pero di rin super bilog laki eyes ko kaya as much as possible latina effect lang ang peg or Brazilian if lucky LOL

Natuloy ka ba? nag pa consult nako kay Dr. Ccj di daw mamamximise yng ganda pag walang cartilage bridge, di puede sakin silicon dahil may kid ako na maliit at makulit, pag natamaan ang silicon nag eextrude talaga. Sa mga sis na nag pagawa sknya grabe parang mother tlaga sya ano? Gusto ko kasi alarplasty lang para hinde halata,, inexplain pa nya tlaga sakin mga ugali ng mga ibang tao towards plastic surgery, you have to do it for yourself, di porket pinoint out na "sana hinde kana nag pagawa/ bakit ka nag pagawa/ ang shallow" etc etc inggit lang daw yun mga yun kasi naka kaangat ka para ma enhance itsura mo. And dapat healthy lifestyle, hinde sya nag oopera pag smoker ka, not worth it daw bakit ang bata bata sinisira na katawan..(i dont smoke). Hinde sya namimilit kung hinde mo kailangan ng procedure. The consultation was for free at heart to heart sya, di nya ipipilit aesthetic nya sayo pero sasabihin nya and alam nya how to maximize your beauty. Hinde rin pala sya nag alar trim yng sa labas and hiwa kasi panget at nag sscar (thick kasi yung skin ko) she used to do goretex before, sya nauna gumamit nun dito  (medyo matanda na kasi si Doc) pero she totaly does not use it anymore because of the complications.

Mga sis nagtanong ako sa Belo. According to my Derma, Dr. Yap's rate can vary to P110,000-125,000. Siya daw talaga ang mostly gumagawa ng Rhino sa Belo. Hmmm... Reading sis chiro chan's posts parang mas super okay pala si Dr. CCJ kasi P80,000 lang ang rate niya all in na yun. By the way, the price I posted hindi pa kasama doon ang post-op expenses. So kapag sa Belo pwedeng umabot ng P150k?

Hi All,

I got my nose done. It's only been a week and I can already see the improvements! I'm glad I went to Dr.CCJ. They corrected what the previous surgeon had done. (i.e. silastic implant not the proper size, etc., etc.) Dr. Ccj was there to give instruction and guidance while the doctors were operating on me. I think they were Dr. Aguila, and Dr. Angel

And yes, it's true, she is a sweet, and kind lady. She cares about her work while satisfying her patients.
