ako daw ang bahala sa music background sa reception

sisses, may idea ba kayo anung klaseng music or cd or music collection kelangan ko?
wala ako idea, basta hindi masakit sa tenga at swabe lang habang nagkkwentuhan at kain di ba? help! baka may nacompile na kayo, pede relay?

joining mga sis pasuggest naman kung anung caterer, venue ang maganda bandang Fairview. Peroga sis limitef budget lang po kami... 20th ba kasya na sa 50pax? Sinong caterer ang masarap pero affordable? saan venue din maganda? thanks!

mga sis, alam nyo ba kung pwede ang binyag sa chapel sa may fernbrook alabang (daang hari)? notre dame chapel ata yun. and ano requirements sa mga non parishoners. thanks!

Sis milkchocolate, I inquired before sa chapel na yan in Fernbrook, and yes pwede magpabinyag. Kahit hindi sa Fernbrook yung reception. But unfortunately, sakop sya ng Diocese of Las Pinas. Eh were from Muntinlupa. Kaya di kami pwede dun. But if you're taga Cavite, ang alam ko pwede. I think 2K lang din special baptism. Not sure with the rate though kasi last year pako nag inquire eh. Hth.

I think so, sis dyan. Nabasa ko sa isang thread before, taga Cavite sya and nag inquire daw sya dun sa Fernbrook, pwede nga daw. Kami kasi taga Muntinlupa. Eh as far as I know dun sa 3 cities na sakop ng Diocese of Paranaque (Las Pinas, Muntinlupa, and Paranaque), sobrang mahigpit sila pagdating sa binyag. They encourage their parishioners kasi na dun lang magpabinyag sa mismong parish church nila. Dun sa parish church namin walang special baptism, kaya naghanap ako ng ibang alternative na church like St. Jerome in Alabang, Notre Dame in Fernbrook, and St. James in Ayala Alabang, and sad to say di kami tinanggap sa 3 churches na yan kasi were not parishioners nga daw. Kahit 10 minutes away lang samin yung St. James and Notre Dame ha. Kinausap ko din before yung mga admin ng churches na yan nung nag iinquire ako, and kahit nga daw mag present ako ng parish permit, dun lang daw kami talaga pwede sa parish namin. Kaya napunta na lang kami sa Makati. Sa Magallanes Church bininyagan si baby.

So siguro kapag di ka taga Paranaque, Muntinlupa, or Las Pinas, pwede ka magpabinyag sa Fernbrook. Check with them na lang din, baka may bago na silang rules.

thanks much sis mae_s! we're from laguna so malamang pwede kami. most of my relatives kase are from manila and QC. so better na alabang namin gawin para di super hassle sa kanila ang travel time.

nag inquire na kase ako sa st jerome. pwede daw kami dun basta may parish permit. ang problem ko lang is di kami kasal sa church. civil lang. eh required ng st jerome na kasal sa catholic church ang parents. kailangan daw kami interviewhin pa ng parish priest nila. and they don't have special binyag. every Sunday 12noon ang binyag nila.

for the others who wants to know the rate in st jerome alabang: 200p registration fee. 250p for the 1st pair of godparents. 100p each for the succeeding pairs. 25p each for the booklet.

Sis milkchocolate, oo nga pala i remembered, wala nga pala special baptism sa St. Jerome. Sa St. James din in Ayala Alabang ang alam ko wala din eh. Try mo sis yung Notre Dame..ganda ng chapel nila. Ang alam ko pwede special baptism dun, pero call them na lang din to be sure.

kakaraos lang ng 7th bday ng eldest ko and now i'm starting to think of venues na for my 2nd baby's baptism. i'm due in april and i plan to have the baptism sometime in june. pls. suggest restaurants good for functions/events in makati, fort or mall of asia/macapagal area. ayoko sana sa mga usual restos like max's, gerry's, dencio's, dad's, guilly's, shakey's, aristocrat, etc. para maiba naman. thanks!

^^sis mae_s, i called notre dame (daang hari) na. tama ka, they allow non parishoners basta hindi taga las pinas, muntinlupa or paranaque.

wala daw sila special baptism. siguro for special cases lang talaga sila pumapayag. pero ok na din kase they dont require church wedding certificate sa mga parents ng bibinyagan. sa parish permit lang sila strict.

registration fee is 1000p. 100p per head sa mga ninong at ninang. mas mahal sila kesa sa st. jerome. Every Sunday at 11:45am ang schedule ng binyag.

Sis milkchocolate, ganon, wala din pala sila special baptism. Ok na rin naman yun siguro sis kasi wala naman yata masyado nagpapabinyag dun. Kung meron ka man kasabay, siguro konti lang.

^^sis dyann, hindi special binyag yung 1k. and they charge per head not per pair sa mga godparents.

^sis mae_s, ok na din. sabi nung nakausap ko, around 5 kids daw per binyag ang magkakasabay.
