Sa eldest ko, after church, tuloy reception then kainan, then after kainan, we just asked the ninongs and ninangs to give their messages/ prayers/ wishes for my daughter. We videotaped it. We explained to them that we'll show it to my daughter when she's 7years old na.

I'm planning to do the same with my second. Ngayon naman, ayoko mag restaurant kasi ayoko mahassle sa RSVP. Basta I talked to a caterer na and so far ok na kami. Venue na lang problema.

And dilemma ko pa din ang date.

Hi mga sis! Hingi lang ng advice. I'm helping out a friend preparing for her kid's baptism. I recommended to her a photog that was also recommended here. As her representative, I booked him and paid the DP.

They sent a contract asking us to fill it up and sign it then send it back to them. I did. Last month. The event is in a few days and I've been following up with this photoragpher for more than 3weeks the copy of the contact na SIGNED nya. Ang unang reply sakin, WALA DAW SYANG PDF (I sent the signed contract as PDF). I emailed to him a link where he can download the installer. Ang next excuse, busy naman daw sya. Until today, wala pa din ang contract na pirmado nya.

I know things get hectic but as a client, aren't we entitled for a signed contract before the event para naman siguradong malinaw ang usapan? Personally, I would have wanted to have the contract when the downpayment was paid but he didn't even want to meet up dahil busy daw so he instead ask us to just send the dp through LBC. We paid in good faith because of the reviews I saw here.

Kinakabahan ako baka mastress kme on the day because of this supplier. Sana naman hindi!

What should we do? Help!

^sis same price lang ng per head ng eat all you can nila.

80 pax minimum nila eh para maging exclusive daw sa 'min yung 2nd floor, pero since meron sila 10+1 promo, we paid for 72 pax lang.

naisip ko pasok sa budget namin. tapos nung nandun na kami to reserve, wala pa pala yung drinks dun. oo nga naman walang drinks sa eat all you can nila. naloko na. within our set budget for binyag pa din naman,  di na nga lang kami nag photobooth na dapat souvenir din namin. di na namin tinuloy. (Buti din kasi parang wala syang pupwestuhan dun, medyo masikip).

yes merong baptismal package, bale ang kasama ng package is yung tarpaulin, simpleng invitation, thank you cards. yun lang hehe.

@ blueberrycheesecake: ay ganon ba sis...60 persons lang bisita ko eh. thanks! btw, nabasa ko pala ulit yung suppliers review mo, natakot naman ako sa oysters nila. haha.

fullybooked kasi yung max's tiendesitas eh kaya naghahanap pako ibang resto na malapt sa ctk and yung within our budget and masarap of course. yung function hall din sa ctk fullybooked na. namove kasi date ng binyag ni baby eh, naging mas maaga kasi dadating pala relatives ko from abroad. gusto nila maka attend bago bumalik sa abroad. kaya nangangarag ako sa reception venue.

last resort ko is magpalit ng church, pag wala talaga ko nahanap. 2nd option ko is magallanes church then reception max's na lang din near dun.

mga sis, baka meron dito homeowner sa galeria de magalanes, pahelp naman po sa sponsorship. hihi.. para papacater na lang kami if ever. thanks mga sis!

about sa oyster, nag feedback na ko sa manager ng somethin' fishy. i hope they take action.

For those having baptism in ctk, another option for venue is dulcinea. Their function room is kinda big. Though I find a bit madilim.

If you have limited guests/intimate reception, like during my son's baptism last march, you can have it at Eastwood richmonde hotel. For 20k consumable, you can have their private room. I think we spent around 23k for 25pax

Okay na ba na photobooth ang souvenir for guests?

sulit to sa case namin sis, kasi addict sa picture yung mga relatives ko. at the same time, wala na ako inasikaso for the souvenir na alam ko itatapon lang nila in the end.

since wala naman program, dun nadivert yung attention ng guests ko. para silang nagreunion with picture

okay lang ba na gawing friday, oct. 21, ang binyag? kasi yung clubhouse na gusto ko irent for venue, friday na lang yung available slot para sa october eh. mas gusto ko kasi talaga pa cater na lang sana kesa mag restaurant kami sa reception. may mga nagpabinyag na ba dito na hindi yung usual weekends ang date?

^ok lang naman yan sis as long as available naman yung church for special ceremony.. considered special sha kasi weekdays.. most churches kasi they only have sat & sun for baptism

^^ you have to take in consideration the schedule of the ninongs and ninangs and your relatives. Minsan kasi kahit anong gusto nilang attend if hindi naman sila makaabsent because of work, wala din.
