sis yung lots in manila memorial park is iba iba price... may mga prime locations na mas mahal.

when my dad died, we had to buy on the spot kasi napahiram namin yung sa plan namin sa kamag-anak. this was in 2007 and the lot cost us 150k

yan na ba yung cheapest sis? 150k thanks

 my bilas has a st. peter funeral plan hindi nagamit sa sister nya nung nawala kasi occupied lahat ng funeral homes nila around the area at nirerefer sila sa available funeral home ng st peter somewhere in QC... hindi na lang nila ginamit kasi sobrang hassle kung malayo pagbuburulan. ayaw naman nila kasi sa bahay yung wake kaya lumipat sila ng arlingtonn.

One time we had to wait a day kasi nga puno sa gusto namin na branch. I think normal yan even with Arlington they sometimes refer to other places as well.

Sobrang laking tulong talaga ng St. Peter smen nung namatay Mama ko. Okay ang service nila, from hospital sila na nag-asikaso. Problema lang talaga nila ang funeral homes. Iyong malapit smen, as in 10 minutes walk, puno nung namatay si Mama. Pinapili kami sa ibang location. Sa may P.Tuazon Cubao pinili namin. Malaki ang funeral home pero scary ang parking sa hi-way lang kasi.

Looking din kami ng Memorial Lot. 100k ang sa may malapit smen. kaloka.

kasi yung cremation plan ng St. Peter may kasama ring casket and viewing, so iniisip ko mas ok yun kesa sa memorial plan lang.

Also, magkano ngayon sa mga columbarium sa churches? Mas gusto ko yun kesa sa lot..

St. Peter's memorial plan also includes the casket. In fact you buy the casket,
the memorial services comes with it. I don't get your question...am I missing something?

pag memorial plan: Memorial service with casket
pag cremation plan: Memorial service with casket PLUS CREMATION service.

So diba parang mas ok yung cremation plan if one would rather be cremated than buried in a memorial lot? Feeling ko kasi mas mura space sa columbarium ng churches kesa sa lote eh

^Sis yung sister ng lola ko sa columbarium ng Christ the King nilagay ashes nya. Sabi ng tito ko, nasa 80k daw, kasya tatlong urns. pero 2014 pa yon, not sure kung nagtaas na sila.

sis swim_fatale, sa church malapit samin 100k ang columbarium, 4 urns ang kasya, same with the other church na nakita ko sa pasay or paranaque. as of last year rates yan. magtatanong ako ulit sa church malapit samin to know if the rates have changed and if may available pa. saktong malapit din yun where I got my cremation plan, as in tatawid ka lang

I see what you're saying but I don't see it that way.
I mean if you go through the traditional route you need to buy a lawn lot
If you go with cremation then you need a place to store the urns so still the same.
Although I suppose you can always just store the urns in your home lol

Meron nang cremation plan ang St. Peter?! Haay tanong ko sa agent kung pwede ko paconvert kasi nung kumuha ako eh wala pa daw sila inooffer..

Pero ang alam ko, mas mura ang rate kung nakakuha ka na ng "memorial plan" tapos mag add on ng cremation service kesa yung wala kang plan tapos papacremate.

Bakit di uso dito yung tatapon ashes sa bundok, dagat, etc.? Yan gusto ng tatay ko.

Masama ba kung nasa bahay ang urn?

Oo sana naman pag natapos na yung isa eh nandiyan pa din yung cremation plan. Mga ilang taon pa kasi ito.

^^^Yan din plan ko sis, paupgrade nalang kung sakali. Alam ko minimal lang naman charges kung may existing plan na tapos add on nalang yung cremation. Ang tanong lang dito is paano kaya yung casket after gamitin. Kasi alam ko sa cremation plan parang free use lang yung kasamang casket. Sana may refund lol or isama nalang sa charges nung add on for cremation.

Sis -- let me put it in the simplest way.

Memorial plan - memorial service ONLY
Cremation plan - memorial service plus CREMATION service

Memorial plan = you need to buy a lawn lot
Cremation plan = you need to buy space in a columbarium

Space in columbarium is relatively cheaper than a lawn lot.

Common sense lang na mas "mura" ang cremation plan if you do the math.

Unless you'd rather be buried "whole" 6 feet under, of course.

Napakalaki po ng savings or natitipid when get a Memorial Plan unlike pag may emergency dun ka palang bibili. Like what I did I purchase worth 64000 na metal casket with Sain Peter but I only paid 34000. It is really better to be prepared kaya maganda talaga may memorial plan.

my lolo has a plan at sanctuarium, pero on the day na gagamitin na, they said walang available for that type of room, either we choose smaller or bigger room, we cant go for smaller dahil sa dami ng tao so we choose the bigger one and napadagdag kami ng gastos... nangyari din ito sa lola ko.

i am planning to get  sana, kaya lang upon experiencing this, parang nagdadalawang isip ako...
