Hi sis! I rented a styro backdrop and character standees for my son's Up party. Balloon Concept yung supplier ko, may promo sila before na 10% discount if you book them a month before your event kaya I got the backrop and 3 standees for 4500.

Yung styro letters, binili ko lang from another supplier at 30 for each letter. Medyo maliit lang sila though. Approximately 6.5 inches in height tapos I just painted them na lang using poster paint.

Thanks, mrsamurao.try ko gumawa ng standee sana maging successful, may few months pa nman ako para gawin.isip ko lang paano icucut ang styro? Yung illustration board pwede cutter, kaya rin kya nun ang styro?

super sharp dapat ng cutter kung yun gamitin mo sis. may nakita nako na styro cutter, electric sya. parang string in a dispenser. yung string ang umiinit kaya malinis pagka-cut

mommy mrsamurao yeah i think may special cutter itong mga styro na ito. pero since super crafty naman itong hubby ko baka magawan niya ng paraan..
gusto ko kasi sana malalaki talaga, 6inches will not work. siguro i need mga at least 3-4ft tall. mas makakamura ba kung kami nalang gagawa or rent nalang?

and pano kaya ito papatayuin sa stage as in stand nalang ang ilalagay possible naman diba?

I saw an ad sa sulit na nagcu-customize ng mga styro letters pero parang ang mahal kasi 720 per 3-ft letter.

I made a styro letter for my friend's baby shower. I did not use a styro cutter. Normal cutter lang kaya hindi masyadong clean yung pag-cut. Kaya what I did was, I covered it na lang with paper flowers. For the base, nilagyan ko siya ng triangle (90 degree angle) sa likod.

^nice naman sis.. nabanggit ko ito kay hubby kagabi and he said na puwede day i-DIY yung styro cutter na parang battery operated tapos iinit daw yung sharp na something at
yun daw ang gagamitin pamputol.

so DIY nalang ata kami for this since may idea na siya. thanks for the tip sa triangle na 90 degrees para mapatayo. i was thinking kasi na lagyan ng stand sa likod.

I was just thinking of my not so little one's party in November at medyo napaisip ako bigla. Just because this is the first time that I'll be handling the entire party on my own, napaisip ako ng mga small details na baka makalimutan ko. Like naisip ko kailangan ko pala ng mga name tags, right? kasi the big items (cake, caterer, entertainement, photobooth) nahandle ko na, yung mga small items na kailangan sa party ang medyo hindi ako sure, yun nga like name tags...

tapos naisip ko din meron akong kinuhang entertainer/magician/host pano if I want to play a short picture clip of my baby (parang prenup sa wedding diba, pero this time just some pics of my baby growing up) ibibigay ko nalang ba yun dun sa host or ako mag aasign pa ako ng magpplay non at a certain time.

mga sis, tips naman sa mga DIY Party experts, ano ano pa yung mga small details na dapat kong iready for the party? TIA!

Hi sis Kreez!

I DIY-ed my son's 1st party din and I know how overwhelming planning a party can be. For my son's party, since less than 15 kids yung invited, I just decided to make grape soda pins that each kid can wear. I also provided coloring pages and crayons so that they have something to do while waiting for the program to start. I just told the host to tell the kids na may "best in artwork" prize para ganahan sila. I also made a guest book para my son has something to read when he gets older. Other things that I DIY-ed were yung mga party signs for the favors and gifts. I also made a photo banner with photos from each month of my son's first year. Sa entrance door frame ko nilagay in lieu of balloon arch and pillars.

As for the video, I think you can just talk to your host about it. Baka pwede ipalabas while everyone is eating. Ako nga ultimo songs that were played, pinakealamanan ko pa. My host kasi was trying to play yung mga pop songs eh I want to keep the theme (which was Up) kaya I downloaded the soundtrack in a CD and asked him to play it instead.

Anyhoo, I wish you luck! I'm sure your party will be fun!

Try mo i-google "free batman printables" tapos check mo na lang yung mga result. Meron mga sites na nagooffer ng free printables baka may mahanap ka.
