sa upcoming birthday ng anak ko gagawin ko na lang pinaka simple....hindi na ako masyadong gagastos sa mga balloons mga napupuntahan ko ngayon ordinary balloons na lang ang gamit hindi na mga magaganda ....sa pagkain na lang yung budget ko hehe

Actually sis, nagpacustomize na lang ako nun sa PolkaDots  :-)  I inquired with 4 party suppliers kasi, and only Hi-5 gave me that option na rental ng existing which I rejected din kasi mixed na fairy tales and nursery rhyme theme yung backdrop.  The other party suppliers, customized na agad ang quote sa kin because they don't have an existing Nursery Rhyme theme backdrop daw.

^ yes sis, most PPs share their backdrops... balloons lang ang labanan kung paano iprepresent ito at papagandahin venue. kasi it's impractical to make your own when there are lots of styro backdrops for rent na. usually, the PP tie up with styro backdrop makers and get it at a lower price (minsan 500 or 1,500 less lang).
depende rin sa design sis, browse-browse ka lang and you'll find a backdrop na magaganda... example, yung Spongebob backdrop ni PP1 mas maganda kaysa kay PP2, or mas pulido ang gawa, or mas matingkad kulay.

gusto ko din makita muna yung backdrop before ako macommit sa isang supplier. ayoko na magiimagine lang ako ng kalalabasan. LOL

I think that's possible unless what you want is something that needs to be made yet. Say, new theme due to a new movie or something like that or non-character, but you'd like to still have a decor made of styro.  For that, i guess you have no choice, but to trust the supplier and wait until the day of the event.  That's what happened with my friend who asked her supplier to make a "Something Gross" theme styro decors.  Good thing it's worth the suspense.

@Jessel, not sure how much rental ng backdrop sis sa Hi-5.  Kasi when she gave me proposal, inclusive na pati balloon decors and hindi niya binigyan ng breakdown.  Rental of new backdrop with standees from her though is 15k.  Sa PolkaDots naman, rental of new backdrop and standees 12k.  Yung ginawa ko na lang dati, I gave both Hi-5 and Polkadots my budget and my requirements, so same price magkaiba quote.  Yung quote ng Hi-5 mas marami balloons gagamitin, and yung sa Polkadots naman, mas malaki yung backdrop niya.  I just chose PolkaDots in the end kasi Jhoanne is easier to talk to and nicer and I liked yung sinama niyang mini-pillars, and also kasi mas malaki yung backdrop (20 feet VS 8 feet sa Hi-5).

You can ask for sketch or design of the backdrop that is going to be made for you before it's actually painted on the styro.  In my case though, I didn't ask for one anymore because I trusted Jhoanne to do a good job, based on the previous styro backdrops that they previously made na.  I just told her what type of backdrop I wanted, and which characters should be on the backdrop and standees.  I gave her images but I told her pa rin that they are free to use other images if they find any or use their own, kasi I think the artist would know better what type of images go together.  In the end, I was really happy with what they came up with :-)

Thanks,sis jsingson.ang laki nga ng price diff ng hi-5 at polkadots,tsaka ang laki rin ng backdrop ng polkadots.Ganda ng setup na gawa nila for your daughter's bday.congrats! Ill consider them for my son's bday,sana maswak sa budget namin.

Hi share ko lang, i found a cheap balloon decorator "10k events philippines" name nila and kakaia works nila and mura pa. Gusto ko yung centerpieces nila na parang balloon sculptures, meron din sila pillars na  magaganda, s shaped pa nga yung iba eh. On her multiply site andun prices and mura. Nagpapaquote nga akomsa kanya for my sons bday next yr. Balitaan ko kayo.

mga sis, ask ko lang kung mahirap ba magkabit nang baloonderitas? ano ang pinaka easiest way para makabit yun sa ceiling?  and about the pillars , balak ko sana kumuha na lang sa mga nagdedecor talaga  kaso mahal ata kahit yung 3ft lang, balak ko sana diy din ang pillars pero mukhang matrabaho at wala ko makakasamang gumawa............may alam ba kayo na balloon decorator na mura lang? TIA!

^DIY mo sis yung mini pillar madali lang.. tingin ka sa youtube ;)yung ballooneritas madali lang din yun ikabit..

sis teri_28 DIY ka na lang. di naman kailangang super bongga ng balloons. I always choose the simplest design.

for my pamangkin's sesame street party, we used blue, yellow, orange and red balloons and made a balloonderitas lang. it was nice naman!

mabilis nga magreply si balloonatix at natutuwa naman ako sa quotation nya, maganda gawa nya at mas cheaper nga kesa sa ibang natanungan ko. baka sya na rin kunin namin. thanks mga sis!

sa styro backdrop naman, may naka-try na ba kay A Box of Fun? mura lang kasi at magaganda backdrops nila.

Since girl ang baby mo sis you can combine na lang siguro red blue and yellow...mickey mouse clubhouse naman ...... better na parepareho ang color combination ng pillar , ceiling balloons at ibang balloon decors para may harmony
