Very basic grammatical errors are my pet peeves talaga. Especially from professionals. Kahit ano pang profession yan, I feel that basic English is important. And one's grammar skills reflect on the school he came from.

Oo, pero I tend to think na since nag-aral naman sila, dapat basic English madunong naman sila. I don't get that excuse na at least naiintindihan -- professional eh, dapat man lang madunong ng basic English.

^ true. For me, sign sya ng professionalism. Halimbawa, sa mga resume/ cv. I'm inclined not to accept someone na madaming mistakes sa grammar.

i was working on a meeting cancellation notice this morning. 

this is not really a grammar issue, but more on spelling... canceled vs. cancelled.  i thought both  are acceptable, but this is what i found: http://www.reference.com/motif/language/cancelled-vs-canceled

naku guilty ako sa mga subject verb agreement pag complicated na,,,
like group yung subject, or dalawa sila,,hahah i never remember,, pero i think keri na basta naiintindihan yung thought. mga pinoy lang naman laitera sa grammar, kahit mga kano, di naman ganon ka-grammar concious tulad ng mga pinoy

totoo ito sa experience ko. yung ibang mga expats, sa mga filipino nagpapasulat, kasi bukod sa magaling sumulat ang mga filipino (style and usage), mas conscious pa sa spelling at rules ng grammar at syntax.

my thesis partner in college is very good in math pero parang nag kulang ata sya sa communication skills.

oo nga, kailangan pa pala ng statistical analysis kasi may exceptions talaga. baka sabihin ng thesis mate mo, hindi statistically significant ang association. hahaha...

madami talaga, sis. most of the Math/Logic warriors i know of, mejo mahina sa Communication Skills. most of the time nag wonder talaga ako kung bakit.

pero when i started working, i realized importante practice talaga. conversational communication skills with BVA Agreement. We Filipinos are not that vocal kasi. since it is not even our mother tongue.

I dont think it should matter. Kasi taglish naman yan. Wala naman rules sa pag construct ng taglish sentences. If  you say most cheapest or more darker. Yun yung may problema. Though dito sa states dalas kong marinig yan sa mga kano pa mismo.

Yung "I don't want to loose you" or anything na instead of "Lose" eh "loose".
