Sadly, I've been hearing this very common mistake among my colleagues. (FYI: We're online English teachers)

- Can you tell me what is the meaning of "telephone"?
- Do you know who is Lee Min Ho?

hahaha. sa academy namin sis, sabi ng male teacher namin, "Did you played soccer yesterday?" with emphasis pa on 'playED "

E.g.

I need to loose weight.

I see a lot of emails and FB comments who uses "loose" instead of "lose".

^ You may also leave out the "a":

... the use of "Can" requires the speaker to move the auxiliary "to be (is)" to the end of the sentence.
Example:

    A. What time is it?
    B. Can you tell what time it is?
            NOT Can you tell what time is it?

    A. What is the meaning of 'telephone'?
    B. Can you tell me what the meaning of 'telephone' is?

I think one of the most common mistakes is the verb tense like...

"What did you bought?". The correct one should be
"What did you buy?" since "did" is already a past tense.

speaking of verb tenses...

medyo may kalituhan ako sa paggamit ng ganito eh

I was supposed to...  or   I was suppose to... (is it the latter?)

or

I'm supposed to... or I'm suppose to... (is it the former?)

stuck on vs stuck at

which is correct: stuck on level 1 or stuck at level 1?

I think 'stuck at' is correct. At is used when you reach a point or when you describe at which point or place you are.

You are stuck at level 30. Parang, I'm already at ayala avenue station.

It helps me din if I ask something as a question first. Eg. which level are you at?
