do you still use the plastic spoon or OK na yung parang stainless spoon? hindi ba yun mangilo sa teeth nila?

we used to bring utensils ni gianna when we eat out.. kaso mas type nya gamitin ang big spoons sa resto kesa sa dala namin.. kesa hinde kumain hinayaan na lang namin..gusto kasi nya ginagaya nya kami..

Lia, miswa with mga ground meat?

Ngayon 1 type of food for 3-4 days kami. Kelan pwede na iba ang say lunch from dinner?

I will ground rice tapos lutk tapos haluan ko veggies. Yung veggies ba dapat pureed/hand blended pa din?

Kelan pwede thicker consistency ang pureed/hand blended food?

Kelan pwede small pieces na instead na pureed/hand blended?

Kelan pwede start mga carrot sticks type?

Sorry, ang daming tanong. Thanks.

Lia, lolo dads 6750.

mga 7 months kami mag start pakainin solids si V. we cook everyday the lugaw at ang veggie every other day. so good for 2 days niluluto lagi for veggies. initially 2-3 times sya kumakain.. yung bowl nya ay halos puno.. she uses yung bowl ng food maker kit ng pigeon. mga ialng cubes kaya yun?

and then sabi bawasan kasi kumonti ang milk intake nya. sa kalabasa at ibang malalambot na veggies, mano mano mash lang.. sa carrots dati we grate it using yung grater sa kit. pero sandali lang din.. later on mano manong mash lang din :)

ngayon at 11 mos, we plan na coarser na ang food nya since may 2 teeth na sya.. hahahhaa

Jai, as in kahit nung 1st time niya kumain 2-3x na agad? Kami nagstart sa 1x eh tapos last friday, 2x na. 5 months siya when we started her on solids.

Si luz pala naka-email ko. She's in pampanga for work kaya tahimik dito.

Nakakatakot kase im not that  prepared pa pala sa mga earthquake or calamity na dadating.
Eto yung nasa list:

"Go pack" (dapat pala may ganito) ang laman:
clothes
flashlight w/ extra batteries
medicine kit
water
canned goods (check expiry)
swiss knife
milk (for babies)
water
whistle (to be use kapag naipit ka sa loob ng house na gumuho)

Extras na dapat nasa bag natin/ even cars
whistle
flashlight
water
medicine kit
swiss knife

Let's be ready, mahirap kase yung caught unaware tayo pag dumating yung mga di natin inexpect.

i think that's enough for now.. maliit naman tummy nila tsaka di pa yan ang main food nila..kumbaga sinasanay pa lang natin sila sa taste and feel ng food..
re dami
take your cue from B..dadating sa point na hihingi pa sya ng konti

kami nag 3x a day lang talaga after age 1.. minsan 2x lang depende sa mood ng bata.. kung ayaw nya di namin pinipilit.. kaya naging petot sya.

yup..ground meat.. yung usual na lean ground beef sa grocery ang gamit namin tapos nililigis ko pa sya kapag ginigisa atsaka pag sinusubuan na.. we make it a point na di sya mabulunan.. since magaling sya ngumuya  hinde isyu sa amin ang nasamid or nabulunan..

same family ang upo at patola..sa itsura the upo is light green and may faint white spots and smooth ang skin usually matataba..when you cut it up..matigas ang "meat" nya
ang upo eto yung ginagawa loofah... medium green ang color..usually mapayat..blotchy ang skin na magaspang.. tapos when you cut it up..yung inside nito near the seeds spongy..

lisa, take your cue from B, kung gusto pa nya kumain. iniisip ko ano ba yung cues na gusto na nya ng thicker consistency food? aside from di nya na pinapansin yung food, wala na akong maisip e. tapos laging ang sama ng tingin nya sa food namin. i totally stopped mashing food and offering small-cut size food nung may food na sya ang parang natututunan na nya mag chew. as in para akong engot i chew my food as in exagg manner pero i think it paid off.

si chloe naman, ayaw ng sweets. yay! (wala kaming kumptensya ni hubby haha) as in naluluray yung mukha nya pag nalasahan nya na matamis. junk food, hindi ko pa naintro sa kanya. bawal kasi sa house hehe. ang pinaka junk food nya ngayon ay fries and crackers (junk nga ba ito?)

question pala, pwede na ba mag honey? wala pang 2 si Chloe... ang kulit kasi ng mudra ko ;D pwede na daw. di ko naman maisip para saan yung honey? yung pamangkin ko kasi na isa, water with honey lang iniinom nya. ayaw ng plain water. i don't have that problem with chloe naman...

edit: ang lufet naman nito

Jai - yes, seasoned na when they started table food.  By table food, I mean yung talagang ulam and kanin from our own viands and rice ha.  Except for the laswa (it's a kind of vegetable dish for Ilonggos na may konting halo ng ginamos [bagoong] yung sabaw), same same.  But pag laswa, tinatabihan sila ng walang bagoong.

I never liked Lolo Dad's.  Mas type ko Antonio's and La Cocina de Tita Moning's.

Lisa - yung Paseo Uno Weekend Buffet, eat all you can yung foie gras dun. But you can only eat so much foie gras hahaha

Luz - super informative. Thanks.

Luz, thanks for that reminder. Meron kami niyan but i have to check the laman. Pati emergency kit pang kotse. May isang binder pang kasama all about health and safety. Safety in our hearts and minds kasi ang drama nila don. I will check nga.

But it's different eh. Matigas. Parang pinrito kasi eh diba dapat pan-seared? Iniisip ko medyo may lambing ang luto? Hee. I've been wanting to try la cocina de tita moning din. Antonios - love. Perp once pa lang ako nakakain don. Had steak plus salad and foie gras. Sa myrons, i always get bianca's choice - yung small steak lang with foie gras. But for a cheaper version, steak and foie gras sa duo pwede na din.

Nesz, not sure kung naka-sale pa ang tempo. Nung march 20% off ang bottke and liner. Sa rustans a couple of weekends ago, parang buy 3 take 1 ang bottles.

So far no allergies naman.

Namahalan ako sa tempo eh - 800 for the big bottle and 800 for 100 liners. 20% off yan. Playtex, i got yung bundle nila - big bottle and 100 liners 900 lang. And better pa kasi the milk doesnt touch the ring so talagang palit ng liner at teat lang.
