Kahit na bags and clothes, wala ako hilig.  I do buy a mix of branded and ordinary stuff but I buy only if it's reasonable and classic (in short mga plain shirts lang binibili ko that I can easily pair with my office clothes).  Bags naman tamad ako magpapalit palit kaya I maintain just one, even if my sisters always give me bags. Mas gusto ko pa wallet hehe.  Ang luho lang talaga namin ng husband ko food, watches, jewelry (for me), old benzes (for him), and travel abroad (yaya ako ng yaya sa local parang lagi syang tamad...hanggang province lang ng family ko ang pumapayag sya pag local).  Yun lang.

@Kim - same kami ng village ni Lisa.  ;D

I asked him if next renewal (after we renew G's visa next year, kasi husband just got his renewed last week) eh gawin namin sabay sabay na pag renew.  Sabi nya wag daw.  So far, it works kasi for us na hindi kami sabay sabay...so far always granted naman.

@Marose - wala kang yaya? Ako gosh...looking for almost a month na. Zero yaya.  nag absent ako for 2 weeks. Kaya lagi akong highblood and no time for GT and FB pag gabi.  Nagpupuyat ako kaka wash ng bottles and sterilize. Husband ko naglalaba ng clothes nila (ayaw namin palaba sa labandera kasi baka may mawala...we dont trust her kasi dami nyang apo and she is known to just "take"). Kulit na ni little boy. Mas manageable si little girl pero malikot sila both. :'(

Maussie, yep, wala kaming yaya. >:(

Sa maid naman, meron kaming stay-out at temporary maid.  Yung isang temp. maid, nagpaalam last week. May edad na (51 y.o.) and first time to work in Manila.  Good luck to us.

I am looking for a yaya or a lista na maid na puwedeng sumama pagsundo ng school bus sa kids ko.  We usually bring them to school tapos school bus (van pala) na going home.

I am tempted to car-pool na lang with another kid from our village kung wala akong mahanap na yaya.  Hiring a driver naman is too expensive. My husband does not like somebody else driving for him.

Mabuti na lang my mom stays with us but she also goes out once in a while kaya sa maids naiiwan ang kids. The neighbor's maid is a lifesaver talaga.  Sa kanya kami nagpapa-iron ng clothes.  We give her money din for what she does for us.

I will finalize my order form and pay her asap.

Sam, welcome!

rata, hello! Yup, it's nice to see familiar names here, namiss ko mag-gt =)

Ganyan din yung Yaya ni G of more than 1 year, nagbakasyon lang, tapos nagka "sure" eyes daw so papagaling.  Aba no text text for several days.  I asked her kung babalik pa sya, nun lang nagsabi na babalik lang sya to pay her utang and get her stuff kasi ayaw na payagan ng bago nyang "asawa" (common law lang kasi kasal na sya sa iba). Yung yaya naman ni I, ok na ok sana but naloka sa girlfriend nya (pumatol sa you know what). I am talking to 2 agencies (1 is a start up, taga UP sya), aside from my Mom's network of kakilalas, hirap talaga.

I will start na rin kasi toddler school sa June (3x a week). Makati lang din tapos same time as class ni G sa A. Kaya the driver will bring us and the kids to work/school (with yaya pa rin), wait for the kids, bring them home (with yaya) and bring back the car to our office tapos uwi na sya.

All girls yun ha. Sus kawawa ang teacher hahaha. Ganun na ata generation ngayon. Grabe rin yung 20 month old son ko eh. Talo manang (ate) nya sa pagka sutil.  "Tarso" nga sabi ng daddy ko.

Sam, pareho pala husbands natin na leaning on the traditional side.  Me naman, I am also considering a non-traditional school kahit na originally gusto ko ng traditional boys' school (Ateneo).  Nakikita ko kasi na with our lifestyle - hubby and I both work long hours so hello, paano na ang homework? - and my kids' personalities, baka mas fit sa amin ang non-traditional.  Okay pa sa area namin kasi ang daming non-traditional schools (Multiple Intelligence and Centro Montessori, to name two) that are as good (or even better) than the big schools.  But we have two years pa to decide, though this year tututukan ko na talaga sa observation at discussions with teachers kung ano nga ang learning styles ng mga anak ko.

Half of the kids who moved up na from my sons' preschool, sa CM pumunta.  Wala pa kong nakausap na parent na hindi nag-rave or nag-gush sa school na iyan so I wanna see for myself what makes it so special.

His son used to study in M & M's preschool pero di sila nag-abot.

Sabagay, parang hassle na yun and impractical. Re:yaya, your post reminded me of Salma's yaya of 2 years nag-christmas vacation di na bumalik! And i was due to give birth nung time na yon, stress drilon talaga! Then i found a replacement last march lang, 18 y.o., rumaket lang ata at nagdelihensya! Sinakto 1 month, pagkasweldo nagday off di na bumalik..hayy..bakit ganon sila di marunong magpaalam, mabait naman ako. Oh well.

Rata, pareho strongwilled kids mo? I was thinking with my 2nd kid, 2nd chance ko din at gagawin ko sa kanya yung di ko ginawa sa 1st para iba naman ugali LOL.. Hmm but I guess, nasa personality talaga yun ng bata hehe..

Performance wise, maraming nakakapasok sa Philippine Science from CM considering that it is a very small school, so I guess maganda ang turo doon.  My kids' dev ped's kids study in CM, pati the neighbor's kids eh the neighbor is a preschool teacher.   Kaya super intrigued ako sa school.  The owner took a post-grad course on Montessori education in the US.

Marose - ah, di ko alam si D, son of X eh nontrad. Sabagay nanay nya super non trad LOL...and I mean that in the most flattering way. Siempre, good friend ko yun eh.  Yes, si B same kayo ng maiden name.

Yun nga kwinento ko kay M (si husband) kanina Marose, na yung yaya ni M&M for the longest time same din ginawa sa ginawa ng yaya namin.  We agreed na kahit na pa kapamilya, kakilala, kapamilya ng trusted people mo, they can always do their own not so good things sa atin. Hanggang $ ng mga sisters ko na umuwi from the US and make up ng Mommy ko, ninakaw. May sayad ata talaga.  :o  BTW, sabi ni V (BFF ko from the Firm) kahit na mga kapatid nya eh hirap kumuha sa kanila (Mayor pa yun sa kanila ha!) ng yaya.  She's in the country now and nagpapahanap ako sa kanya sa province nya. Ganun kahirap ngayon. And ang dami talaga nilang racket.

Sam - oo both strongwilled.

I have Bicolano friends, nasanay na lang rin (noon) and some of ther words are similar to ours.

Usapang yaya nanaman. Ang hirap talaga humanap. Sa farm namin halos lahat ng nakatira don sa barrio have known And have worked for my family for generations. Ok naman sila, mabait sa amin and all pero either naga-abroad para mag DH don or ayaw magwork sa manila kasi kesyo nam-miss ang asawa/anak/magulang. At minsan di talaga maiwasan na aanga-anga kasi no read no write ang iba sa kanila. Eh ang hirap turuan kung talagabg there's nothing between the ears. Yung isa kong maid dati ay sus di pala ginagamit ang washing machine kasi di daw niya mamemorize ang steps, eh no read no write nga, kahit isulat ko ang steps useless din.

Lucky lang ako sa 2 ko ngayon kasi they have remained very loyal. Meron na lang kami ngayon small circle of loyal workers who love our family as much as we love theirs. Eh sabay pa kami halos nanganak ng sister ko tapos twins kanya so 3 yayas agad yon. I havent been lucky with agencies eh plus i have big trust issues kaya gusto ko from our barrio din kasi nga kahit papano may malasakit samin.

Kaso 15 years old lang.

And better kaya renew muna ako bago mag-apply si hubby? Sorry daming tanong.

But maybe true nga what you said na lag sabay-sabay ang family nay isang di bibigyan. We always apply for canadian visas as a family, ako alwats denied. 2x na. May US vusa naman ako. Gamit naman. Umuuwi naman ako ulit. :(

Also told hubby about DBV. Would you know of any vacant lot there na for sale? We were considering verdana mamplasan pero ang layo eh we hope to send b to poveda later on.

Sam, welcome!

Kim, tight siguro if 3pm. Baka di ako umabot to meet up with you kasi mass then lunch then cake ang sched on sunday. Sorry. Pero sa field trip, go talaga tayo dyan.

Starting monday 12-9 shift na ako. At least i will get to spend a bit if time with b in the morning tapos sa gabi pwedeng ako magpaligo at magpatulog sa kanya. Now kasi with a 2-11 shift, i only get to spend a little time with her in the morning after she wakes up and before her noontime nap. Wgen i get hom, tulog na siya.

That job offer kasi i declined na, they made another offer but it's still too low. Hirap talaga sila because of the tax. Even if i add in all the allowances, laki la don ng diff considering mas mataas na ang gross offer nila. I wanted to move lang naman kasi sana i wanted a 9-6 sched but if ut neabs getting a pay cut of more than 30k, hindi talaga practical di ba. So i talked to my boss and good naman he said i can change my shift. Pero better na din to for b, i think.

Tin - south ka din? hay hilo ako kasi now. puyat lagi sa kaka wash ng bottles, prepare the milk for the following day, etc. stressed pa bago pumasok sa kakulitan ng mga babies ko. Yep, I know gurangon is bicol, I used to know more words, kaya lang hindi na kami ganun ka nagsasama ng bicolano friends ko.

Lisa - maraming vacant lot sa DBV! Tanungin ko Mom ko. Maraming kilala yun eh, plus yung ibang mga brokers na naging "friend" ko na when we were looking. Dun kami nakabili but problema mataas kaya mahina ata water although meron naman daw. Netherlands malayo yun sis. Malapit sya sa mga Norway.  The good areas are mga Greece, etc. Pero mahal talaga. Yung DBV kasi ok ang president the past years (friend ng Mom ko) kaya inaayos talaga nila yung village.  How big a lot are you thinking of? Usual cuts nila eh 200-400. Nakaswerte lang kami kasi (opposite) corner lot nabili namin so medio irregular shape (supot daw tawag) na big enough for our needs (gusto kasi namin more than 400 but below 600sqm. Hirap naman nga pag poveda pa si B...tapos way way south kayo. Regarding the US Visas puedeng mauna ka sa renewal mo, sabay kayo ni B.  Your husband can go with you to help you in caring for B while waiting.  Pag tinanong if may US Visa asawa mo, sabihin nyo wala pa but hindi sya sasama muna because of work, etc. Every 2-3 years kami.  Disneyworld ang promise namin sa 2013 kay G and I. Sabi ko kasi pag both at least 40 inches na height nila (they can ride big kids roller coaster), then we go back.

Rata, thanks for the tips sa US visa. Next year ko na din iniisip to apply para better documents din. We were supposed to go this year, dapat at around this time, grand reunion with my brothers kasi more than 10 years na kaming di magkakasama ng complete since we dont naman all go together ng sabay sabay always. But my sister and i both gave birth last nov (1 day apart kami) so we decided not to na muna. 2013 the 3 babies will be (almost) 3 and my brother's daughter will be (almost) 7 - puro november babies yan! Hee. So nausip namin don na lang magreunion. The babies may be too young pa by then pero ok na din siguro yon. Orlando will definitely be part of the trip!

DBV ba is yung sa france tapos turn right sa may mini stop? But if the price is good, kahit a bit bigger pa.

When we still lived sa multinational right after we got married, sa moonwalk din kami dumadaan minsan kahit wala kaming sticker pero ang sikip ng kalye kasi.

To the new joiners, sorry for my typo errors. Madami yan. Addict sa gt pero bawal sa offuce so i use my iphone. Ang hirap magtype!

Lisa - yes, that's the one.  Sige sabihan ko mommy ko and she may be able to give me which broker you should go to. Pag pumasok ka sa gate ng DBV and you turn left, kita mo na from there yung house namin LOL.

San banda yung sinasabi mo na 200 to 400 yung cut ng lot?  how much per sq m?  Lot ba yun or house and lot na? Pag H&L magakano range ng price?

re: US visa, next year kami mag apply pero sa Sg.
