@rokstrmama yes sis baka mapaaga ka sa 3rd baby ko 36weeks lang lumabas na, now due ko july 7 parang gusto ng lumabas. magastos pag si hubby mo nagpa vasectomy 2 mos sa hospital hehe

hello! i know this post is quite old already, but hopefully you sisters will still reply to help me..:-D

i am 31 yrs old with 2 kids, and planning to do ligation before end of this year. right now, i am working here in singapore, and my OB quoted me close to 80K, pag ni-convert sa peso.

so just want to ask for your info how much is the cost of the ligation in PH...baka kasi mas mura, so dyan na [textspeak!] ako pa-ligate...

i dont know sis kung magkano if ligation lang talaga, kasi dun sa OB ko free na daw ang ligation, ang quote nya sa kin is 135k cs delivery semi private room sa MMC

Usually very small naman ang cut for tubal ligation... it's not like a CS cut.

I've seen this during my duties at the hospital. But still... ako plan ko convince si hubby na lang magpa-vasectomy when we decide na okay na yung number of kids namin, haha.

btw sisters, i read that ligation is day surgery, pero after how many days or weeks kaya pwede na for air flight? less than 4hrs ang byahe...

my OB advice me to have a ligation kasabay ng CS ko para iang open na [textspeak!] daw this second week of December 2011, kasi bukod sa pang 3rd baby ko na to,highly risk na rin ako kasi going to 34 na ko this December and I'm a gestational diabitic also and aside from that may scoliosis pa ako.so no choice ligation na nga and my OB in Medical City quote me:

CS package: 67plus so pagpalagay na 70k
bill of baby: 15k
ligation:15k-20k daw
since Gestational diabitic ako if ever complication may occure pero wag naman sana
siguro magprepare na rin ako mga 20k although wala naman sinabi si OB ko for this cost.
Total amount na dapat iprepare ko: 125k

I was ligated right after baby was out last sept lang. It was not actually planned pero strongly suggested by my OB dahil sobrang traumatized na daw un uterus ko and would be very risky if I get pregnant again..additional 20k sa bill for the ligation. Haven't had my period yet pero expect ko daw na mas magiging malakas ang period ko compared before.

Happy New Year mga Sis,

Ask ko lang sino na sa inyo nakapag undergo na ng ligation na isinabay sa CS delivery? Worried na kasi ako 1 month na me nun last Dec. 28 from CS delivery with ligation pero until now nagsa suffer parin ako sa sobrang sakit. Palagi my sumasakit sa my puson ko minsa sa nun una sa right side now naman sa left side. Ang sakit nya parang my hinihilang ugat minsan nagkakadaiyak na ako sa sakit. Tapos until now dinudugo parin ako on and off my day na wala my day na bigla magkakadugo.

Mga Sis any idea if normal lang ba yun ganito? sa Jan 7 pa ang balik ko ulit sa OB, pg nainom me ng mefanamic mejo gumagaan pakiramdam ko pero pg nawala na effect ayan na naman sakit na nman sya.

^sis, ako din ligated right after CS, lochia ko lasted more or less 1 month din pero wala naman pain, better consult your OB asap para macheck and para hindi ka din nagwoworry..

cs sabay ligate din ako last nov 11, mga 1 month bago nawala talaga yung pain, as in normal na ang kilos, pero nakailang balik din ako sa ob dhil naninibago ako yung cs ko before that halos normal na agad ang kilos ko after a week, siguro nga mas matagal ang recovery pag may ligate, kasi may mga kakilala din ako na ganun ang sinasabi, as for the blood, till now parang may kulay pink pa rin akong discharge, on and off

I dont know if theres a diff between ligation after normal delivery versus cs delivery, as for me experience ko no pain as in, masakit lang un vagina ko, pero after two weeks na infect kasi sa thread na ginamit. almost 1 month ako pabalik balik sa OB para lang mawala un nana. ewwww

I think tama lang sis na FREE na kasi 135k for CS is wow already and semi private room pa yan ha.

Hi Rockstarmama - may I ask how old are you? I also want to undergo ligation sana since this is our third baby, whether boy or girl sya

My OB might not want to do it since she's a bit traditional OB

I'm preggy with our 3rd baby and gusto ko pa ligate na since 3 lang talaga plan namin.. Although, I'm 27 palang.. Takot tuloy ako, may tahi.. Pero mga sis, does ligation guarantee 100% that you won't get pregnant ulit.. Sabi kasi nung iba hindi daw, may chance pa din na mabuntis.

^yes sis may kwento sa akin yung OB na nag lap sa akin na kahit ligated na may chance pa rin ma preggy. Ask your OB about it
