Few things that I learned since I've been desperate din last month.

1. They only allow extension for passport with less than 6 months validity. Research nyo na lang po ulit for further details.
2. For OFW who already have ticket or job order, you can bring it to the director's office for express application/renewal.
3. Provincial dfa sites are also useless. Batangas & Pampanga is also per appointment basis. Lucena accepts first walk in applicants daily but their rush option is 35 working days na naglalapse pa rin.
4.In one of my inquiries, Rush option is currently unavailable since hindi talaga nila kakayanin. madami na kasing nagbayad ng rush pero delayed pa rin.
5. POEA does have a facility pero for ofw lang pero me ilang nakakalusot.
5. The best way to have it expedited, dapat me kakilala ka sa loob ng DFA. In 3 days, voila! me passport ka na

my passport will expire in 2013 and i just learned na ang new passport pala now is may signature na. i want to change sana my passport with the new one na may signature na since there are instances kasi that i need an ID with pic, birthday, and signature aside from SSS ID.

any idea on how will be the process, i checked in DFA's website the requirements on the lost passport (since i want to declare my passport as lost for me to be able to change it) kaso need ng police report and notarized affidavit of loss.

pano ba mga sis ang procedure in getting police report and notarized affidavit of loss. may nakapag-try na ba sa inyo ng ganitong way?

Naku sis sira ang DFA machine? Malamang classmate sila ng SSS machine kasi sira na yun forever!
Try doing na lang what DFA said na lang just go there a few days before releasing para maalert sila na rush nga yung sayo.

Sis oo meron nagdedeliver ng Saturday because ang passport ng friend ko Saturday delivery din.

Sis I am not sure how to get the police report, but I guess check mo na lang sa nearest police office near sa place mo to get one.
To get notarized affidavit of loss mo, just go to a lawyer na nag-nonotarize ng legal documents bring necessary docs any proof of identification like prc, ibp, sss id sabihin mo lang kuha ka ng affidavit of loss for a lost passport.
Green passport ka pa ba sis? Kasi kung gusto mo ng new e-passport pwede ka lang naman magaapply normally like what everyone does.

e-passport (maroon) na ko pero yung old version pa na walang signature, yung mga bago kasi ngayon is may signature na kaya gusto ko papalit ng bago dahil habol ko is yung may signature, problem is 2013 pa expiration ng passport ko..

courier siguro ang na-late sis. atleast on time na -release passport mo

Sis i think  you can renew your passport without the affidavit of loss kasi anjan naman ang old passport mo na di pa expired. You can ask dfa trunkline naman para sure but ganyan din ako i got green passport lang na expiring in 2012 i renewed my passport na rin and I got it din naman last year.

Sis ako kasi my mom received my passport for me. I just left her all my receipts, old passport, my id, and letter of authorization for my mom na rereceive ng passport. Yun lang naman sis. Dapat may id din pala ang magreceive.  But hindi ata pwede ang guard lang.

got our passports today. wow.. ang sabi release was 29 din nandito na ng 29..naks! sakto tuwang tuwa ako sa pic ni baby sa passport.. hahahah.. nagapply kami ay april 6

nareceive ko na kanina ang passport ko thru DHL! April 28 ang nakalagay na release date sa receipt, March 22 ako nag-apply.

tumawag muna sila sa landline para i-confirm ang address, dumating ang tagadeliver sa bahay 1 hour after. tinanong ko kung kelangan pa ng ID ko to verify, hindi na daw.

For new passports issued to minors do you notice if the digitized signature (of 1 parent) appeared on the passport?  I just realized that my daughter's passport does not reflect any signature on the space provided.  I remember ako nag-sign nun.  Ganun ba talaga?
