Have you tried the best alternative for this? I tried the Kitty Litter as a substitute for this nung naubos ko na yung Aztec Healing Clay ko. They are both made of Bentonite clay. Finer lang texture ng AHC. Lucky for me when I saw Michelle Phan's vid for this because I have kitty litter for my pet cat. ;)

At first I was like EEEEWWWW! Thinking cat litter meant the cat poop! lol! But then it made sense after watching her vid.

Parang gusto ko i-try ito. Hehe. Parang wala nang solusyon sa acne ko. :( I've tried almost everything--doxy, took pills for one year, facials, derma regularly... Wala. Okay sana yung derma ko dati, she gave me facials and chemical peeling lagi, tapos nakaka-boost pa siya mismo ng confidence (sasabihin niya okay na yung face kahit may acne pa, so medyo encouraging siya). Kaso magastos and di keri ng schedule ko. :(

Yung pills, I took them for one year!

So ayun, pagka-stop ng pills, chenen!!! Sa cheeks and jawline and chin.

Right now, tina-try ko mag-water lang as facial wash (apparently may alcohol ang Cetaphil?). Also, I'm adding ACV to my water (3x daily, isang bottle cap-ful of ACV sa isang glass). Naka-1 day na ako na water lang as wash and ACV intake, parang sobrang dry naman ng skin ko? Anyway, continue ko to for two weeks to see...

Haha.

Your feedback is appreciated. :)

^It's clay sis, It's unlikely na magkaallergy ka unless ma-inhale mo yung fine powder. Kung ACV yung gamit may hapdi depending on your skin condition. Try mo konti lang or more water. It just sucks the dirt from your pores and really tightens too.

---------------------------------------

AHC is calcium bentonite. I use Sodium Bentonite or better know as cat litter as my substitute for this. (They are both volcanic clay and can be used as masks and some are even made to be ingested.) Super watery lang ang use ko. Watch Michelle Phan's video about it.  ;)

BTW, if you plan to buy cat litter check the ingredients. Some use silica instead of sodium bentonite or combination.

sis minnie99, this is ot but don't you think it's hormonal imbalance? sabi mo kasi sa jawline and chin ang acne mo. ganyan kasi ako e, and nagawa ko na rin lahat ng na-try mo for acne hehe. IMO, di naman drastic ang changes sa acne ng ahc but it helps. lumiit ang pores ko saka glowing ang face. Mahal siya pero matagal maubos yan. Don't use it everyday.

You can mix this with plain water + turmeric. Before, i mixed it with vinegar but since i have sensitive skin, hindi okay ang effect.

I tried this and it's awesome. I can really feel my face pulsating. I experienced redness for about 20 minutes then afterwards I had glowing skin. It felt really clean. Even my boyfriend, who I forced to try it, now loves the Healing Clay.

^ Sis MsPringles, it's about P450+

Aztec Healing Clay is Calcium Bentonite, if you want a more affordable alternative na similar lang ang mineral content, try NOW Solutions 100% European Montmorillonite Clay...bought this on S**it.com for 290 I reckon.

"Bentonite and Montmorillonite clays often interchange names and have similar properties yet vary from deposit to deposit." sabi sa isang site. Montmorillonite comes from Montmorillon, France. Green clay din ito.

Have tried this before, nakakadry siya ng pimples after a few days. Works best with apple cider vinegar. Yun nga lang, for me ang kelangan ko that time is prevent pimples from forming, prevention ba instead of cure, and ang nagwork sa'kin is pills, which I have to take continuously. That said, I think Aztec is still worth your money, lalo na dun sa mga gusto magtry. :)

I also like to try this, matagal na akong naghahanap ng good facial mask buti na lang nabasa ko ito.

This worked really well for my cleaning my pores. 2x a week ko ito ginagamit with ACV, you just have to make sure to moisturize after using the clay. No need to buy superexpensive clays.

Guys, for those worrying about the cost, think of the long-term.

450/1lb of powdered clay is, according to the instructions, worth 10-15 clay masks, but the advice is for masks about 1/4 inch thick.

I don't make masks that thick, na para atang soft cement. I mix it to be slippery and soft enough to resemble, eh, baby food? Parang pureed ba? What I have is yung leftover na scoop from infant formula and that's what I use to just take out the powder, and add enough ACV to make the desired consistency.

At best it's a not-quite-heaping tablespoon of powder with about a tablespoon of ACV plus a teaspoon more. I'm on my 2nd tub of Aztec clay. Even using it on my sister, mom and brother, my 1st tub lasted more than 2 years. Imagine niyo, 450 over 2 years?
