I went to Imus Family Hospital to inquire for CS delivery rate daw nila is 50-60K hindi pa deducted ang Philhealth dito, accredited sila ng Philhealth as well as their OB.

I want to share my experience because I found this site very informative when I was pregnant and looking for a good hospital. I gave birth last September 2012 at Our Lady of the Pillar Hospital at Imus, Cavite. Ceasarian delivery. At first nilagay kami sa semi-private room kasi walang available private room nung nagcheck in kami. Sa semi private 2 kami na patient, shared ang CR, no TV, may pahaba na couch for the companion. Malinis naman ang cr. Yun divider between patients is curtain lang. That time I think nasa 900/day yun room rate. For CS nasa 50k estimate by admitting.
Nung gabi na kami nakakuha ng private room. I remember 2 options, 1 was a private room w/ ref w/c cost P1300/ day, yun no ref cost P1200. We opted for the room w/o ref.
Ok naman yun room, malinis, mukhang bago that time yun room, may flat screen tv, malakas yun aircon, yun bed madali i-adjust, and may 1 long couch for the companion. Malinis din ang CR. Everyday pinapalitan yun bedsheets, pillowcase and blanket. Ang estimate ng admitting for the room is 70k for 3days. For me, we spent around 80k+ ( philhealth not included yet) kasi we stayed for 4days because I had a fever nung nanganak ako plus the antibiotics given to me and my baby.
Ok naman experience ko kasi the staffs were super bait and maasikaso. You dont have to call out pag malapit na maubos ang dextrose mo, may bumibisita once in a while to check. (we had that experience w/ another hosp, paubos na yun dextrose ang tagal pa bago dumating yun magpapalit). Yun meds na binibigay ng nurse on time palagi. Tsaka pag may request, mabilis naman nila iaction. Wala ako naencounter na masungit na staff or nurse.
My obgyne was Dr. Antonette Anonuevo. Mabait si Dra, very patient in answering all our questions, kahit minsan paulit ulit yun tanung ni husband ko (dahil siguro sa taranta or kaba...). Ok yun ginawa niyang tahi sa tummy ko, hindi masyado halata yun scar. On my next baby malamang sa kanya ulit ako babalik kasi sobrang satisfied ako sa services ni dra and the hospital.

I was in Imus Family Hospital yesterday to meet the OB that I am really decided to take care of me, Dra. Jacqueline Salagubang, na research ko kasi at mga positive ang feedback yesterday, kahit may HMO card ako at hindi siya accredited sa IFH, pumunta ako for check up to personally meet her, at totoo nga ang bait ni Dra at super at ease ako sa kanya.

So may OB na ako after 7months (hehe) at may hospital na rin ako napili after all the research I have done!!

ako naman i gave birth sa Metro south last 2010, almost 80k less philhealth mga 60 k na lang.. pf ng ob ko is 20 then mga 10 yung anaes. may mas mura paba? ill be giving birth in sep ulit kaya nagsscout ng mas mura:)

gave birth at De La Salle UMC via NSD last January 30. Our total bill was 30,700 less Philhealth included na yung bill ni baby and newborn screening. Ok naman kahit sa ward lang kase that time 3 lang kami and aircon naman.

@Krisvan : oo mabait si dra. You know what, The first time I read about her is through GT! After reading the GT recommendations about dra, i researched about her in other blog sites. First baby ko kasi kaya I dont know what to expect. Satisfied naman ako at sya napili ko.

Sis, dun ako regular check up now. So malamang dun na din me manganganak. Sabi prepare lang daw ng 35K for normal. Magaganda daw mga rooms dun.

Hello sissies! Newbie here sa pregnancy and childbirth threads. I'm 6weeks preggy na po and currently searching for an OB. I've had an appointment yesterday with Dr. Casanova at Asian Hospital. I really like her! But what concerns us is mahal manganak sa Asian. Ok na sana kasi swak si Doc sa requirements namin: (1)With Clinic during Saturdays (2)Maxicare accredited, my HMO, na balak namin gamitin for consultation (3)Medicard accredited, hubby's HMO, na balak namin gamitin for delivery since mas malaki yung coverage. As much as possible kasi, ayaw namin mag-cashout ng malaki. So me and hubby decided to look for an OB sa Imus. We're eyeing Dr. Freida Ilano sa Our Lady of Pillar, mas malapit pa since taga-Malagasang kami. Any feedback po re Dr. Ilano? She has clinic during Sat, tapos medicard accredited. Not sure lang kung Maxicare accredited siya. Need your help sissies. TIA!

Maxicare din kami ni hubby at nagagamit ko sa kanya sa consultation, medyo madami lang sya patient pag Saturday kaya agahan mo na lang punta sa kanya, minsan hindi sya dumadating on-time pero okay lang, sa experience ko kase malimit late talaga mga doctor sa clinic hours nila
