@foxymom: sis question, is it safe to purchase online then have it ship? i'm planning to purchase online through the UK website. Hubby is 1.5hrs away from London he doesn't like to go to London proper just to buy my bag. my plan is to have it shipped to his office address in Havant, Portsmouth U.K.

with your case, im not sure if bal uk site will accept phil issued credit cards. Bal US only accepts US issued cards before

as for calling bal london store, they will only ship to cc billing address.

Y dont you try buying from hgbags? Ive gotten a alot of bags from her, all authentic

@foxymom: thanks for your info. I tried exchanging emails with Bal London SA Dany asked where i'm based and he didn't mention about the card issued in the Phils. He said they do accept mail to order, will ask him again regarding the credit card unfortunately the 1 i like online is not available in their boutique. I avoid buying signature bags from reseller, i always buy direct  just to be sure that what i get is really authentic mahirap na maisahan ang mamahal pa naman hehe..thanks for your suggestion.

hi mga sis! just wanna share. i went to balenciaga GB last week and am happy the SA's so accomodating. unlike sa SAs ng hermes 

i asked him to "educate" me on the different styles and sizes and he was very willing nakakatuwa  they have limited stocks nga lang kase limited din daw ang delivery. first and city were out of stock. last thursday lang daw dumating pero after a week ubos na agad. usually every 2 months daw sila nag-restock.

yun nga lang i ended up not buying kase laki talaga ng difference sa europe and sa GB. oh well, at least the SA was nice

@anneG: ahh okay, i thought you were ordering from the bal.com uk site if you're ordering from the boutique from bal london, that is fine. i also order most of my bbags from the london store and have it shipped here. i have to warn you though, customs charges around 30% of the total price (item value+shipping). you can negotiate with customs but i do not suggest to under declare since a lot of other ladies have ordered from bal london and customs might be familiar with pricing already.

my last order with bal london was around july/aug, i was very lucky i was not taxed, but 2 girls who ordered same time were both taxed if you dont mind paying then london is the best store, they send the bag in a bal box and you receive in in 3 days!

@foxymom: i checked with Bal London they don't have the item in store im eyeing for City Silver in Argent Fonce, my plan is to have it shipped to my husband who is also in UK then he'll just bring it home, would you know if he will still be taxed for that.

@ckathy: yes, from what i've heard. you can ask the courier to haggle for you but no assurances. one of the girls who got taxed haggled, as in they went to the customs office to request for the fees to be lowered. i think it worked but they still had to pay 10k++. the other girl didn't haggle anymore since she's from the province so she paid 20k++

kasi im about to send the order form sa bal london pero as what i read here na 30% pala custom duty. Grabe naman!  Kaya hold ko muna getting insights muna kasi laki ng tax dito!
Swerte mo naman foxymom wala ka binayaran sa customs. san ka ba umorder? same ba dun sa naorderan ng 2 girls  na nagbayad ng tax at ano ba courier na ngdeliver ng bag mo? same as theirs din ba?  delivered straight to your door ba package mo? like pano yun before receiving package may tatawag ba sayo taga customs to tell the tax to be paid? then if paid it'll be delivered na? or i must pick it up sa post office pano ba yun?

^ hi ckathy! Yes, i also ordered from bal london. Its my 3rd time actually and i don't really know why i wasnt taxed, im just very thankful. Bal london uses reflex courers, local partner in the philippines is pronto express. Pronto will call you if you have any customs charges to pay before they deliver your baf

wow buti ka pa ! if ok lang ask kung what bag you order recently from them and total amount mo inc. of shipping? who is your SA there? baka naman sa location hehe .. are you from qc din?

My last order was a blue lavande rggh day i really dont know what the diff in my order. One of the other girls also asked that and the courier was also surprised why i wasn't taxed. Kaya nga takot na ako mag order uli kasi kilala na nila ako, baka di na lumusot sa susunod

Oo nga foxymom sana nga anybody who recently made a purchase online share their experiences kung how it went if they got taxed or not. Im really tempted to push thru with the purchase haist! 
But having second thoughts because of the high custom tax 
I called pronto express this afternoon and they confirmed na 30% taxable ang items.
Undecided nako oorder pako good thing the SA in london will hold the bag for me till Saturday so i still  have time to decide

@foxymom: sis, i only communicate with the SA (Bal london) through email do you think its ok? or i need to talk to the person over the phone? they have stock of the other designs that i like..I was thinking if safe naman yung Mail Order service (delivery within UK area)..i'm really tempted to buy the bag.
