^wala ako sagot for you pero just to share my pro has band-aids on it, so far dalawa pa lang naman ang booboo nya. yun na lang ginawa ko to cover up the scratches. ayaw kasi bumili ng hard case kaya ayan.

^sis yung hard case protects the laptop from scratches diba? sa apple store talaga yan nabibili? i searched sa net, may product called idrops or applesauce ba yun which can help get rid of scratches from your gadget kaya lang i don't know where i can buy that here in Cebu. :/

^yeap for protection nga tho it adds bulk and slightly weighty sya so i didn't buy pa. and may iba di nagfi-fit ng tama or nagagas gas raw lalo..duno how true. di ko maalala the store brand they carry so with that you can get it sa amazon or ebay.  i'm sure applestore has it tho limited selection lang meron sila, meron din mga skins to cover up the front mga made to order online di ko lang din alam if magiging cheapangga sya once you stick it on there.

kung high end cases gusto mo may mga leather ones na made to order din.

I was looking for a case/sleeve for my new MBA last week and came across those encasements, the brand was Speck.  It had okay reviews but some had issues with their notebooks heating up and the case adding bulk so I got something else instead.  Those were absolute deal breakers for me.. esp. The heating issue and adding bulk to a MBA defeats the purpose of getting one in the first place.

True, I was searching for a sleeve but didn't find any that I like.  There was a leather one but they didn't have it in 11".  I just bought a slim laptop bag from Muji and made my own sleeve out of felt cloth

I don't have any problem naman sa Speck yung heating kasi open pa rin naman yung sa bottom for the ventilation. Ang problem ko lang dun yung bulk. For sleeves, satisfied ako sa Crumpler since sila lang nakita ko may 17".

Hay... this week na i-diagnose yung MBPro ko. Sana yung video card nga ang may problem para libre pagawa.

^^^sis muahmuahmuah i checked online reviews effective naman daw..kaya lang i really don't know where to buy it here in the philippines. meron din daw "magic eraser" available at hardware stores in the mall so i might try looking for that nalang. when i researched online some tried using white toothpaste or rubbing compound (one used for cars) in getting rid of the scratechs but duda naman ako dun kasi baka it will do more damage..eh napaka minor scratches lang talaga yung sa akin, not noticeable but it bothers me. if you use skins for your mac bah, will it protect it from scratches din? if yes, once i successfully get rid of these i might get a skin for my macbook. this is my first ever mac so love ko talaga..super taken cared of.

^yeah iwas ka muna on using any chemicals and compounds...magic eraser yung sa mr. clean? may bleach ata yun hirap pag natuklap masisira ganda nung mac. first mac ko rin eh kaya di ko rin kinuha yung casing kasi nabuhat ko yung sa sisst ko nabigatan ako kahit ilang grams lang yun siguro arte.


im sure the skins can protect the mac sans the weight and the protection when dropped. yun lang difference walang added shock absorber the skins as in sticker lang sya. sabi naman its safe to put on and remove. haven't met or seen one and kung gaano kalakas ang adhesive.

nagtitingin rin ako before and saw a couple good sites pero yung adhesive talaga kinakatakot ko tapos kung mali lagay baka magbubbles pa. kaya ayun band-aid nalang

yeah Speck nga yun. hirap nga to look for colors and size sa apple store limited madalas ang line nila.

I have the white mb, cherub, walang scratches pero libagin nyaha. Trick para walang scratch: wag galawin, wag ilabas lol. Aww ayos lang yan. Battle scars sabihin mo.

if you want protection without the bulk use Zagg invisishields.. mahal nga lang pero worth the investment naman.

is this the hard casing you were talking about? tempting naman kasi it comes with really cool colors. ayoko kasi yung mga art2x and complicated designs ng ibang skins. :/ ok lang din if walang shock absorber. i have no intentions of dropping my laptop ever! hahahaha. basta may protection lang talaga from scratches as these are more difficult to prevent.


mooncake and leaves: haha battle scars talaga? but my MB hasn't been to battle yet.. lol. this is only 3 or 4 months. once ko lang nalabas sa bahay.. i don't know where these scratches are from. as much as possible, di ko din nilalabas o ginagalaw. yung ginagalaw part is very hard though.. parang almost defeats the purpose of a laptop, which a computer you are supposed to bring anywhere. hehe. nabasa ko nga dun sa ibang forums, mac users tend to be more OC with their computers than those who use other laptop brands. now that i have one, i tend to agree. parang it requires extra care talaga. but still, i don't regret buying this.

Ayaw ko muna isipin ang gastos kung hindi video card ang sira haha Ang mahal talaga. Makakabili ako ng isang MBPro 13". Ayan ang price. Hay...

@muahmuahmuah They provide full body covers din... parang yung quality ng screen protectors pero you stick it on the body to prevent scratching. parang gmask Zagg style haha

Ito gamit ko ngayon sa iPad 2 back & screen para hindi na ko bibili ng case at naka smart cover nalang siya.

Ito rin gamit ko sa macbook ko sa body to prevent scratches. so far good as new pa yung baby ko. lol and i'm not the kind of person who's OC. naka privacy screen din siya, nag ggames kasi ako dati habang nag llecture sila sa school lol. kaya akala ng prof nag nnotes lang kami. 

..hindi ko alam rate nila dito kasi I johnny air'd my shields.
