haha... proactive husband!!! :)  pero hubby ko kaya ko rin napapayag sa Eden purchases ko is, talaga namang ang hirap to go out feeling crappy because of your pregnancy weight gain, and having clothes that either don't fit or you're not comfy in...

after I started buying Eden... wala na, lagi na lang ako happy and excited to go out, haha...

Talagang naisip niya yun!! :)

Pero tama nga na parang ang hirap bumili ng tamang maternity clothes because of the sizes. Ako personally nahirapan ako when I first tried buying kasi I have no idea kung anong size dapat kunin ko! Kung small pa rin or medium na. But i ended up buying mga medium sizes to be safe!

Especially kung may alam kayong mga leggings na low waisted? hehe im not sure if meron nga niyan but sana meron! :)

afer a while talaga, the usual leggings won't feel right na... so you have to wear maternity ones... and then, after you give birth, the maternity ones won't fit well na din :)  that is part of the gastos... the sooner you accept it, the sooner you'll invest in good clothes...

para lang din yang buying baby clothes... you can buy 3-6 months agad na clothes but when you see na parang kawawa your newborn in the big clothes, you will buy some newborn sizes din... and then, you will just keep buying clothes forevermore kahit na ambilis nya lakihan...

if you're going to invest in baby, why not yourself too? after all, happy woman = happy mom... never underestimate the effect of hormones and weight gain on self esteem

tsaka diba... number one reason to buy new clothes that are comfy and stylish is... because we're carrying a child! that is serious hard work. that is super scary. that will scar and scourge us.

i'm not saying naman to buy 10 outfits every month. JUST INVEST IN GOOD, COMFY  PIECES :)

after, eh di sell on Ebay :)

correct sis!

i just bought a skirt and pants yesterday sa landmark dun sa havin a baby... mas marami palang choices dun sa landmark na mga maternity clothes..

last night ko lang narealize na malaki na ang itinaba ko... nung nagpa-pic kami nung sister ko... ang taba ko kesa sa kanya, pero akala ko ay pareho lang kami.. sabi nya sakin, mas lalo pa akong tataba pag 8 months at mamaga pa ang ilong ko.. all expecting mommies should bear these for our angels!  ;D

@grayce -- sis thanks sa tip! il drop by Zara later & hopefully they still have those leggings!! :)

btw mga sis, san ba ok bumili ng maternity belt? i read kasi it helps support your back or something like that.

mine was bought by hubs from mercury drugstore before... never used it. found it constricting and hot... i mean, if you're investing in looser outfits, why would you get a belt diba?

but that's just me

massage did more for my aching back...

^ah ok...so masikip pala un ganun? e wag na nga! kala ko kasi it will serve as a support for your back e! Ya i want to get a massage nga talaga but i have to tell my OB about it muna para safe din! :)

hindi naman sya sa masikip per se, but if hindi mo sya sisikipan (or ifi-fit around you), how can it support your belly/back?

yung ibang maternity belts, like bella bands naman, alam ko, it offers support but are more stretchy accessories to cover the belly as you grow, in case your jeans need to be unbuttoned or your tops ride high na...

again, naiinitan lang ako sa idea :)

hi mga sisses. isa sa mga prob ko tong maternity dress eh. on my 1st trimester bumibili na ko ng buntis, nine months, mom to be, etc..at iba pang branded clothes..kaya lang sa bilis kong lumaki eh minsan isang beses ko lang nasusuot then next time i tried to wear it again e wala na inde na kasya. minsan yong pants ko pagsuot ko e nasira yong bandang pwetan hehe..nakakahiya inde ko napansin hanggang makauwe ako ng bahay. wala man lang nagsabi sakin sa mga officemates ko. nahihiya siguro hehe..angmahal tapos inde naman ganon katibay.. :(

^naku sayang naman, best to buy loose clothings instead of maternity dress siguro, atleast pwede mo pa din gamitin kahit after giving birth. After giving birth kasi medyo kakailanganin pa din natin ng loose clothings kasi hindi right away nawawala yung pregnancy weight hehe.. Yung mga maternity dress ko puro hand me down lang, di ko rin sinusuot ngayon, di ko masyado type, mas gusto ko yung loose lang kasi mas presko.. :D

with my first pregnancy, I said i wuldn't buy those baby doll type of dresses na mukha kang oversized girl... but I did, kasi they were the only things that felt presko at that time... I also had parang cargo maternity pants/slacks and all the usual empire-type blouses kasi nga I was working pa

the looser, the better

with my 2nd pregnancy, I was a sahm na so no need for a lot of pregnancy clothes.. I got back most of my maternity clothes from hiraman (my SIL and cousin used them)... though still in good condition, hindi ko na sila feel... and then I found Eden nga... which are stretchy and snug... and kahit hindi sila loose, super comfy talaga, until now, I love wearing them (thouh syempre loose na sila ng konti sakin now)... and I feel sexy/put together when wearing them

delisyus: Could it be the material of the belt you have is mainit? I bought a Mothercare maternity belt and hindi sya mainit but at the same time offering support to my puson, my OB advised din to wear one when she learned i'll be travelling and walking a lot, pag umuupo na ako to eat or rest tinatanggal ko na, it's just when im walking i use it, very helpful kase parang nalilift nya yung tummy ko so hindi masyadong mababa. Btw, mine isn't a back problem, kundi i was carrying low and sa ultrasound i have low lying placenta, kaya lagi ko din ginamit when moving around, even at home.

Just sharing...
I was at Landmark yesterday and was surprised to see lots of murang murang Pregnancy tops! Priced at P180 lang the brand Great expectations something like that, I also liked the brand Milksense, they have pregnancy/breastfeeding tops na mura lang talaga, the polo shirt is at sale only P299, na halos same look the ones i saw at multiply sellers  nasa 900 each.
But recently i started looking around for blouse with similar styles of breastfeeding tops (Cowl neck style with inner top, cardigan a sewn inner top, and others)  mas mura kase then i can just put that slit inside the inner shirt. Yung mga nasa multiply super expensive nasa P1000 per top kase.

pwede :)

or it could also be that I just really felt hot so any extra layer was unwelcome for me... honestly naman talaga, if I could go around naked while preggy, I probably would :D haha
