hi sisters. i just started my new job and i'm planning a special dinner for my guy next month when i get my first pay. any suggestions? right now my idea is...

1. rose petals to the bed and candles around it.
2. candles on the table and a cooked meal made by me. (have to learn a recipe pa)
3. romantic music. (i'll create a romantic playlist)
4. good wine.

that's about it. am i forgetting anything?

last valentine's day i gave my bf a personalized mug with a cartoon of him ang myself (it's personal!) then nag-cut out ako ng 14 strips of colored papers and wrote each a pick-up line (mostly from ms. mirriam santiago hehe) i put it in the mug then nilagay ko sa lap ng panda bear na gift nya naman sakin last xmas..

sad part is parang hindi naman nya na-appreciate yung gift ko dahil hindi nya tinabi yung paper strips. ako pa ang nag-keep nun para sa kanya..

when i was in college and dating this guy, i plan to give him a valentine's gift..

i bought a book (chicken soup for the romantic soul), then read all the inspiring romantic stories in the book (for one whole week lang), i picked out 14 best stories then put each in a paper - two tone actually, one is beige, then the other one is much lighter shade. to give it a classic and oldies look. then i put all the stories inside a box.

pero hindi ko ito naibigay dahil before valentine's day hindi na sya nagparamdam sakin..ouch..until now i still keep that box (10 years na sakin), i told myself before ibibigay ko ito sa deserving guy dahil sobrang effort ang binuhos ko dito (ang hirap kaya hanapin nung book! special order pa un)

now may bf na ako for almost 2 years pero hindi ko pa rin naisipan na ibigay yung box..not because i don't think that he is the one but now i'm waiting for the right time..^^

share ko lang yung ginawa ko kay ex bf ko, ika-25th bday nya nun so nagprepare ako ng 25 gifts for him. simple things lang like fave mag nya, shaving cream, dvd ng first movie namin na pinanood. then nilagyan ko ng "to" notes bawat isa like dun sa dvd "to remind you of our first movie together" (something like that - limot ko na din haha). then may number bawat isang gift para alam nya ano yung unang bubuksan nya, tapos ginulo gulo ko pa ng ayos para mahirapan sya hanapin yung kasunod hehe.
ang ginawa ko nun is #1 gift is cake na dinala ko sa bahay nila at naglunch kami kasama family nya, so syempre nagtaka sya para saan yung #1, sabi ko secret hehe. date kami whole afternoon then pag uwi sa amin, ayun nakakalat na yung gifts nya sa sala namin then isa isa nya binuksan accdg sa number. 24 gifts lang pala niprepare ko, nakadikit sa body ko yung #25 hehe. meaning, ako yung 25th gift.
super nahappy sya nun, tapos naghiwalay kami after 1 month ng bday nya. wahahahaha!

yung sa boyfriend ko ngaun (2 years na kami) which ironically is magka-bday sila nitong ex ko (hahaha), im planning to surprise him sa house nila. wala pa akong solid plan pero i know ill come up with something soon

Kay husband naman, nung mag-bf pa lang kami, students pa noon eh (HS then college) so hindi naman kalakihan yung budget ko. Here are some things na ginawa ko for him:

** After we officially became a couple (patapos ang school year noon), I was scheduled to spend half of summer sa relatives ko in Makati. He told me na sayang daw, mamimiss niya ako, lalo na't patago pa kami noon sa side ko, haha!  So to compensate for our not being together, I bought a special notebook then parang diary ko yun pero siya ang kausap ko. I gave him that when I arrived at nakapagkita na kami ulit.

** Nung naubos na yung wine sa bahay, kinuha ko yung bote, nilinis, then sinulatan yung bottle mismo, pet name namin as a couple then yung date nga anniversary namin (first o second anniversary namin ko yata ito ginawa, can't remember). Nilagyan ko ng colored sand sa loob then may letter din. Ala-"Message In a Bottle" lang ni Nicholas Sparks. 

** I bought a cake, took two to three slices then nilagay ko sa microwaveable na container. Binalot ko lang then may ribbon tapos naka-attach na letter, parang gift. As in pinuntahan ko pa siya sa building nila para maibigay yun, sabay kasi kami nag-lunch noon.

** Bought balloons for him then nilagyan ko ng letters sa loob. Iniwanan ko sa kwarto niya, magkikita naman kasi kami nung hapon. Takot pala si loko na magpaputok ng balloons. 

'Yan pa lang naaalala ko eh. Hehe. So I need to think of new ways to surprise him. Nung bf ko pa lang kasi siya we celebrate monthsary tapos anniversary. Ngayong kasal na yung anniversary na lang.

sis pinky-twinkee, eto na yung pics. actually, simple lang naman siya, na-appreciate lang nya ng sobra kasi alam nya di ako mahilig gumawa ng mga ganun. Sya kasi yung mahilig sa art, graphic artist sya.

I vote for FOOD! yey! Home-cooked meals, that is! I really find it sweet, specially if hindi ninyo talaga siya ginagawa. My guy's not into cooking, hmm its not that he's lazy, hindi lang talaga siya marunong.. ngak! haha! Pero one time we went to a bookstore to get him cookbooks daw, he said he wanted to cook for me... twas so cool! Nanonood lang ako... After that, super happy siya that I enjoyed the meal.. was really proud lol! kaso parang nasobrahan din pagkaproud niya sa sarili niya haha since then, siya na lagi ang tagaluto ko! Weeee!
