^ sis, dati ko na nakita na yung usual 3 flights nila in a day don sa date na binook ko sa sis ko naging dalawa na lang. all the while i thought baka puno na ang earliest flight kaya wala na sa choices. so they said nga dissolved yung earliest flight. i tried looking for one way ticket of tiger airways (which also has its share of negative reviews due to flight cancellations and flight changes ) and mahal na sya kahit na ma-refund pa yung one way ko. promo kasi yung nakuha ko sa jetstar so talagang by this time, it is still the cheapest yun nga lang na-move ang departure time. i just hope na hindi magkaroon ng changes at magkaroon earlier flights ulit. haist....

 First time ko lang sa jetstar, medyo nalilito lang ako dun sa credit card verification na policy nila.
Question: Kailangan ko pa bang pumunta sa office nila para ipa-verify yung cc, or pwede nang upon check-in yun? (kasama ko yung owner ng cc sa pag-travel)

^afaik, pag kasama sa travelling party ang cc holder, no need to show up pa sa office ng jetstar. Upon check in na ang verification nyan.

naman ang airline na eto on time kaso lang hindi comfy...lalo na chair masakit sa likod...imo

mga sis, ask ko lang kung alam niyo contact number ng jetstar sa makati office? salamat.. hindi na pala kasi pwede gumamit ng CC pag hindi sayo nakapangalan.. ang laki kasi ng difference ng presyo pag sa mga travel agency ka bumili

any update on their credit card policy? are they still strict? nagbook kasi ang friend ko ng  manila-singapore rt flights ng officemates nya gamit credit card ng boss nilang nasa singapore. ang problema walang oras ang boss nila na pumunta sa jetstar office sa sg, so baka naman daw pwedeng photocopy na lang ng card at authorization letter. may isa pa kasi kaming friend na pinayagan daw ng jetstar na photocopy lang ng card and letter nung manila singapore flight nya nung 2014. gusto lang kasi naming masiguro na pwede nga ang ganito. please help!

About to book flight from Manila to Singapore and good thing nagbasa muna ako ng thread. Ang hassle pala ng credit card verification nila. Makikigamit din sana kase ako sa boyfriend ko na hindi naman sasama sa akin sa flight. So now, kahit mura, i will just wait for other promo fares na lang.

Kuya ko from Osaka hindi sila tinanong about sa credit card (they used mine) pero my sis-in-law got a message from Jetstar Singapore telling her to bring verifications on check in. Nasa Osaka din ako pero balik ako ng Sydney, sila naman side-trip to Manila. So I gave a photocopy of my card and passport and hindi sila tinanong (baka nakalimutan) sa baggage lang daw sila hinigpitan. Nagtataka naman ako bakit nakialam ang Jetstar Singapore as far as I know they are separate from Jetstar Japan.

PAL does the same thing as far as I know. Cebu Pacific no problems before, not sure lang if the same applies at the moment.

Nasa checkout na kase ako then may note dun na may 2500 VISA booking and service fee -- per person per booking daw. Group of 5 kame so mejo nag-alangan ako.

Baka may naka-experience din sa inyo? May ganito ba talaga?

^parang ang mahal sis ng 2500 per person. I last booked jetstar manila to sg last feb of this year. Travel namin is oct 27. We paid rin thru visa credit card ang service charge fee lang is 300 per person.

correction on my earlier post. Its 500 per person pala. We were 5 kaya i was charged 2500. This is because I used CC (Visa) for payment.

I booked a flight for 2 last January 2017 for a March 2017 trip.  The credit card policy still applies and despite this notice (I received this a few days before the flight), the credit card was requested only at the check in counter. I called the Jetstar hotline and clarified if I need to go to MIASCOR office:

Requirement of boarding: Credit card verification

It is a condition of sale, check in and boarding that the original, physical credit/debit card used to purchase the ticket(s) must be presented by the credit/debit card owner for verification at the airport, where the tickets purchased include travel between Singapore and Manila. Prior to check-in, the credit/debit card owner must take the credit/debit card used to purchase the tickets together with his / her government issue identification (such as a passport, identity card or driver's licence) to the Jetstar check-in counter at Singapore airport, or, for Manila airport, the Jetstar service desk or the MIASCOR office (11am-5pm) situated on level 4. This requirement applies irrespective of whether the credit/debit card owner is or is not a part of the travelling party. If the credit/debit card is not verified as required, the passengers whose tickets were purchased with that credit/debit card may be denied check-in and boarding at Jetstar's sole discretion. One verification is required for each return journey.

Napaka-hassle nga if you need to go to MIASCOR office pa.  For good measure I brought my credit card and also the credit card statement where it shows my billing for the period where the tickets were charged have been paid.

I noticed though that for bookings from the Philippines the web check in is deactivated. But at the T1 check in counter, I noticed there's a web check in lane. I am suspecting that this could be for those who paid for their tickets in case or probably through a travel agency.

Same with my booking last November 2016 for a March 2017 - booking and service fee was P500.00 per person and I also used a Visa CC.
