My son is Advance Casa at OB. All I can say is that na nurture nila yung anak ko very well! My son loved going to school. I was worried before of putting him to a regular school since I do plan to homeschool him. But since Montessori is homeschool based, nakita ko ang improvement niya!

He was a late reader, but shempre with my devoted time also to teach him (at least every Friday and Wednesday night, and during exams) he has become a really good individual.

Pinaka napansin ko with OB kids na namangha ako, the teachers can make kids listen. Kids run aroung and the teachers chases after them sa stage! Natatawa lang kami ni hubby e.

When I saw the OB kids have their family olympics, even 2-3 year old kids cooperate with the teacher. They were all in line, hands at the back and though... not everybody really was participating in a cheering but still kids listen and follow rules.

Anyway, sulit naman sa tuition kasi the P72,100 (annual) tuition includes books and materials alreadt for a year. Including spelling notebooks, calligraphy books! I would say, ok talaga siya for my son.

May bullies, but when I sent a mail to the teacher... they acted upon it right away and now my kid can handle it well at naka adjust na din siya.

Very good school!

Hi, everyone.  :)  I'm planning to have my daughter take their trial class when she's 3 (there's are no toddler classes being offered here at O.B. Montessori Las Pinas).  Right now, she's 2 and a half.  Did any of you enroll your child at a toddler class before enrolling her/him at O.B. Montessori?  Would you guys recommend that I enroll my daughter in a toddler class until she's old enough for O.B.?  Or do you think that it's best that I just wait until she's 3 and just really start her off with O.B. Las Pinas?  I was thinking of enrolling her first in a summer program at Toddler's Unlimited, Prep Camp or The Bridge School so she can get a feel of what school is, but I would hate for her to keep changing schools especially if she is happy and settled in that particular one.

Am sori if off topic but my son is also studying at montessori at bf resort las piñas,at 4years old they were already taught how to read. Now,a year of being in that school he can read story book already especially the phonics words. But since they only accept pre- school wala pa silang grade school so am also leaning towards sending him to ob montessori las piñas next year, since the teachers said same core lang naman lahat ng legit montessori.

Hi, Mommy iceebaby. My daughter was now enrolled at OB Montessori as Advanced Casa for SY 2012-2013. She started her Junior Advanced Casa here at OBMCI too. You have mentioned that your son's tuition fee is 72K? While my daughter's tuition fee last year SY 2011-2011 (Jr Advanced Casa) was 84K but we paid it in cash kaya we availed the discount and we had 79K cash out. How come yours is 72K? Just clarification lang po. Thanks in advance.

nag-adjust ba ng age requirements for grade 1 ang OB Montessori in line w/ k+12?

i mean sa ibang school kasi yung prep ni-rename lang na grade 1 (i think assumption ang gumawa ng ganito).

TIA

^parang wala pang changes in line with the k-12. Pero during the parent orientation they said na there will be another meeting regarding that, pina-finalize pa nila yung implementation. Syempre kasi dapat lahat ng branch nila same curriculum and guidelines.

^ thanks much mdy ... pwede ba akong makahingi ng update regarding this.  my son is currently in kinder level.  as early as now, im worrying na (worrier kasi ako hehe) kung next year ba pwede na syang mag grade 1 sa ob sta ana.  last april kasi ang sabi sa akin, dapat 7yo by june ang grade 1 nila.  kung hindi mag-a-adjust ng age requirement ang ob, ang dilemma ko is we will be torn between sa school na gusto namin or sa school na tatanggap ng 6yo for grade 1(marami na kasi ngayong private school na nag-adjust sa k12).

sana mag-adjust si ob ... crossing fingers.  thanks again mdy.

^OB Montessori has I think 5 branches only: Greenhills, Sta.Ana, Angeles, Las Pinas, Fairview. You can also checked their website.

sis johan827,

last time nag inquire kami, after pa daw niya mag 3yo tska daw siya i-assess sa OB. Kaya ayun, sa July pa kami punta dun.  Sige sis, wait ko post mo. :)

Junior casa siya.  Ilan ratio ng student-teacher sa OB?

Thanks sis :)
