I will never say never to any books (well as much as possible,he!he!)
I'm not suplada when it comes to books, i actually have read all the Harry Potter Books, Lord of the Ring Series, Narnia Series, even the Twilight Series. And all Judith Mac Naught books,  Julie Garwood books, Sidney Sheldon Books,Clive Cussler books,  Shopaholic Series, kahit yung mga tagalog authors, at one time or another nagbasa din ako pati si Purpose-Driven Life  at The Secret pinatulan ko.

Pero nabore ako at walang natutuhan sa Purpose-Driven life at the secret. I think if you really love books, you must read almost all genres. For non-fiction ha. He!he!

Siguro im the type of reader din na who only seeks entertainment in reading, for pleasure! Mababaw na kung mababaw but i'm proud na masa ako!

No offense meant to the fans but I really don't feel like reading the Tagalog Romance pocketbooks. Yung may mga lovers na slightly naked sa cover. Yung tipong ang title ay, Yapusin Mo Ako. Stuffs like those.

Same here, I really don't like reading tagalog romance pocketbooks. Not really interested.

No offense, and I do understand why it can provide entertainment to some. They're good time killers, but will never read again:
Book by Sophie Kinsella, Meg Cabot, and their kind.

Will also never read again:
Nicholas Sparks novels - they're really good the first time you read them, first book or three at most. But as you go, paulit ulit na at nakakasawa.
Same with Paulo Coelho, for the same reason. (he used to be my hero, back in HS, though!)

I watched yung The Secret, though. It was okay naman, kaso kala mo naman kung anong secret yung sasabihin niya, yun lang pala. Haha parang maeexplain ko nga in one sentence. Chaka being an avid reader of Coelho when I was younger, parang sinabi niya na yun sa The Alchemist. One sentence lang rin - can't help but think that the author somehow plagiarized kasi nasa peak ng kasikatan nun si Coelho nung nilabas niya yun. Haha. Pero pwede nadin yung movie kasi it gives nice tips for self-help.

Also, I will never read any more Mitch Albom novels. I read two, and I can't say I didn't cry - I did, a lot. But the second time I read him, I realized he was being an opporunist and trying to get money from stories of people that he could dramatize.

Anne Rice's Sleeping Beauty Trilogy LOL.
I've read Nicholas Sparks' The Notebook but after that I feel like overrated na yung other books nya, goes the same way with Paulo Coelho although I've read a lot of his books na, the last I read are The Winner Stands Alone and Brida but both was such a letdown for me kaya hanggang dun nalang siguro ako...

i've given LOTR a chance.. pero hinde ko talaga kaya... hinde ko maintindihan... at nainis ako sa puro kanta ng mga hobbits sa simula ng book1.. loved the movie, though..

and i think PS iloveyou is super overrated..

anything non-fiction, give me one minute and my mind's in wander na agad... hahahahaha!!!
