Do NOT hire Reach Out & Build, Inc.!!! The roof they installed last year, flew off this morning even though it's just typhoon signal no. 1 

The village manager came over with a few other people who checked the roof. The contractor didn't place flat bars when they installed the polycarbonate, thus it came off easily.

I've already texted said contractor and sent photos, but they have yet to reply.

Actually, that's just one of my many complaints.

hello po....i posted this question in the other thread pero matagal na kasing walang nag-popost dun so im hoping na may active dito.


we have a 200sqm lot in the province and balak namin pagawan ng apartment. ang quote samin ng contractor is 200,000 per pinto labor and materials... i want na kami yung pipili ng materials para hindi rin substandard yung bibilhin. if labor only, sabi ng dad ko is ang ibabayad namin sa contractor is 40% of the total quote.

so if 40% of 200,000 - kung labor lang yung agreement with contractor, tama ba yung ganitong quotation?

another question i have is regarding bubong. 4 na pinto yung apartment na target namin (2 pinto sa baba then 2 pinto sa taas) but as of now, our budget allows 2 pinto. yung bubong ng 2 pinto sa baba ay gagawing buhos (para ready sa second floor) gusto ko po sana na kahit buhos yung bubong sa baba ay papatungan pa din sya ng yero.

may nagsabi kasi sakin na iwasan ang open roofdeck kasi mas malaki ang chance na magleak sa katagalan kumpara sa bubong na yero talaga.

pwede kaya yun? yung concrete na bubong tapos papatungan ng yero sa ibabaw na parang yung bubong na concrete ang magsisilbing truss? sorry po medyo mahirap i-explain...


May alam ba kayong contractor na alam yung mga sustainable building practices?

pwede po yun sis, ganun naman na uso ngayon at sa ilalim ang lagay ng yero pag ganun. mas gusto ng contractor yun dahil di na nila pakikinisin yung ceiling. hndi na ordinary yero ang inilalagay, usually may design na dahil yun na din ang magiging kisame ng nasa ground floor.

di ko lang alam kung applicable para sa lahat, pero try mo multiply yung floor area mo sa 20t php, para makuha mo rough estimate ng project mo, kung 60 sqm so nasa 1.2m

^That's what I've seen din sa web research ko around 20-30k/sqm sa basic/simpleng house designs and 40-60k/sqm sa medyo complicated and higher end ng fixtures.

Unless of course you go the other way and opt for mga Foreman na kaya mag all around, using low cost materials.

hello!  i had our house quoted for tiling works in 2017, di lang natuloy kasi i got pregnant.
bale for the whole house nasa Php120k yata lahat na (Php160k if installment ang gawa, like 3 sections). bungalow house ito, tiles are granite sa living room area, and ceramic sa rooms and kitchen.

i dont have the exact specifications/measurements ng bahay namin, pero ganyan ba talaga ang presyuhan? or mahal lang yung quote sakin ng contractor? excluding pa yung mga village charges eklavu.

another contractor friend sabi niya Php850 per sqm, pero labor lang ata yan, amin yung materials.

yung isa naman e hindi nagsabi ng exact rate niya pero sabi niya mahal daw magrent ng maghahakot ng waste materials.

I would like to ask sana kung merong contractor kami na kukuhanin, tapos ang total contract price na binigay ay 4.65M. Pero walang details kung bakit 4.65M. Saja bang ganun? Ano kelangan namin kunin para maensure na yung 4.65M e yung kabuuan na ng bahay. yung bill of materials ba rough estimate lang or yun na maging exact amount?
