hi. help naman mga sis, we'll be traveling to seoul this june and we have a stop over in Hongkong, 6-8 hours, so i just wanted to know, ano ba pwede puntahan dun na malapit sa airport? saka madali lang ba public transpo dun? any suggestions on places to go and restos? thanks in advance!

Shamrock Hotel along Nathan Rd. Friendly at very convenient. isang tumbling lang nasa MTR station ka na ng  Jordan.

Try mo sis   cyber_princess mag Ngong Ping lapit lang siya sa airport take a Lantau taxi (blue) to the   Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal in just around 10 minutes ang travel around  HK$35-40 lang..

^^ sis, you can also take the S1 bus from the airport going to Tung Chung, around 10 minutes lang ang travel time. There's a cable car at tung chung going to Ngong Ping.  Meron ding mall na maraming outlet stores near the Tung Chung bus station mismo.

just back from Hongkong and stayed at Metropark Hotel Kowloon (there are 3 others Metropark branch scattered in HK) had a great deal. I chose the Club floor room with free unlimited in room internet, free round trip airport-hotel shuttle service, buffet breakfast for 2, free snacks in the afternoon, free unlimited beer, juices,coffee etc during our entire stay..and free shuttle to shopping areas like mongkok and tsimtsatsui. the staff were very accommodating. they allowed me of an early check in and late check out until 4pm. rate is HKD1300nett

Hotel benito is OK, very near nathan road and the mtr station. Neat rooms
Too.

You can try butterfly on prat. Nice rooms too and free wifi kahit sa rooms

Question, which area of Hong Kong would you suggest na mag stay ang first time travellers?  Yung malapit sa tourist spots or at least accessible via trains or buses?  I've read about TST, where else?

i just booked BP hotel last night thru booking.com  so excited for our trip!

we usually stay at marco polo gateway. mabait ang staff. last time we went, they gave us free room upgrade connected sya sa mall at malapit sa mga shops.  walking distance lang din sa avenue of the stars at sa sakayan ng boat papuntang macau.

mga sis, ang hotel benito ba more or less same standard nitong gateway? may guests kase kaming nagtatanong kung ok ang benito. parehas ba daw sa gateway. namamahalan kase sila sa gateway pero gusto ng same category at a cheaper price.

^Hindi sila same standard, kasya 2 tao sa bed ng gateway, sa Benito 1 lang pag may kasama kang kid masikip na nga.  Small space sa benito big space sa Gateway, ganun din sa CR, at may bath tub sa Gateway wala sa Benito.  Ang maganda sa Benito is the location kasi malapit sa MTR.

TST rin for me eh. Malapit sa shopping, walking distance sa Avenue of Stars, marami ng kainan around the area. And kung mag-Macau kayo, malapit din sa ferry terminal.

Sa Mongkok kasi masyadong maraming tao.

We stayed at L' Hotel but it was too far from the city but the rooms are really nice. Big, nice view, 5-star amenities but the location was inconvenient. It is a good place to stay if you are going to HK disneyland and to relax afterwards. But if you are there for shopping, Harbour hotel is a good option due to proximity.

We went to HK last May and we stayed sa Maple Leaf Guesthouse sa Chungking Mansion sa TST. If you're on a budget like us ok na rin Ito kasi rooms are clean at daily naman nagpapalit ng mga towels and bedsheets. May discounted tickets pa sa mga major tourist spots. Medyo off Lang young ground floor ng Chungking coz of dami Pakistani nationals na nag-aalok ng kung [textspeak!]-ano at di masyado maganda pero carry Lang. Just say no and they let you be. Malapit din sya sa MTR and shopping spots at the sa ferry terminal. Super convenient.

we were just on a budget trip when we went to Hong Kong so we rather stay in a budget hostel along Mongkok. walking distance lang sya sa mongkonk mtr station in front of 7/11 store. Name of the hostel is Hongkong Budget Hostel. tahimik lang yung may ari and decent naman mga rooms with cr, free hot water for drinking coffee and kung may baon na cup noodles

I have stayed at royal pacific hotel, shamrock hotel and marco polo gateway. Among these three, gateway hotel is my favorite. I love the rooms with two double beds. Kasya 4 pax.  the staff are very helpful and courteous too. Plus they offer free in-room wifi. It's a bit pricey though but very worth it.  royal pacific hotel is nice too. But their rooms are quite small. But they are clean and the staff are nice too.  if you're looking for a budget friendly hotel with good location, shamrock hotel is a good choice. It's just a few steps away from jordan mtr station.  for our hk trip with hubby and our daughter next yr, we are planning to stay at a disney hotel for 2 or 3 nights then transfer to tst hotel for 3 nights. Which one is better? Disneyland hotel or hollywood hotel? Disneyland hotel is a bit pricey though. In tst area, i am eyeing for park hotel, kimberley hotel or gateway hotel again. Any feedbacks on kimberley hotel and park hotel? Thanks

ok ba sa yui fai hostel? we plan to book 2 rooms for 3 persons each, i know this is located in the same building as golden crown, ano pa kaya hostel meron sa building na ito? fully booked na kasi sa golden crown eh. thanks, hongkong trip pala is on Nov. 9-12
