Nice naman, nasa thread 2 na pala tayo. Ang tagal ko na ding hindi nakadalaw sa GT. Anyways, ok talaga ang online businesses. Just to share some tips in putting up an online store:

1) Make sure that remarkable ang name ng online store niyo. IMHO, medyo redundant and cliche na kasi ang paggamit ng names like "Fashion (Insert Another word here)" or Chic xxx. You get my drift

2) Put up a webstore na easy on the eyes and  ok rin sa navigation.

3)Advertise! Advertise! Advertise!

OTT, so far I'm very happy with my webstore. Sana magtuloy tuloy ng maifulltime na. Ang sarap ng feeling na natutuwa ang mga customers sa products and kapag narerecognize na siya kahit on national level pa lang.

nasa 20k kase [textspeak!] supplier ko may min order required..    pede mabawasan yan kung piliin ko [textspeak!] mga items.. but soon parating na items ko from Spain tinda ko Zara, mango brands..

i have so customers here in GT... and i enjoy it..
doing part time, i sometimes  buy online.. okay din naman
use multiply kasi very useful.. i'm new sa multiply dont know much how to advertise

just try lang.. cause as far as my studies is concerned.. internet is growing specially to online selling and i can see it becoming a new industry...

Hello! I'm new to online selling. I have my own domain so medyo challenging maghanap ng customers. I'm advertising through Facebook and Multiply pero ang hirap na may extra effort pa sila to go to the site itself. Sana makakuha din ako ng tips dito. hehe.

Ako, I sell Mommy and Baby's Stuffs.

For Babies:
Imported but cheap diapers, baby wipes and some clothes.

For Mommies:
I sell Original Ariel, Surf, Downy and Joy, not in the original branded packaging pero original.

This is also my home-based business. Nagbakasakali lang ako sa online, and natuwa ako it worked for me!

I've always had the notion that madali lang ang pera. Maybe not true for some, but kasi with me I experienced selling pre-order. There's nothing to lose really. Worst case scenario - kung hindi ka kumita siguro time lang [textspeak!] nasayang. Raket ko to before, then I got my first day job for experience, but I hated it, now I'm back online haha. Mas okay ang profit, di pa pagod!

Just look for the right product. There was a time, na humingi ako ng tulong sa bf ko sa pag advertise aka tag sa facebook. he earned 9k as a small percentage from the overall profit. o diba! Go na mga sis! Good luck sa business!

when i started online selling most of my products are pre-ordered from US. mejo mahirap kasi nakakaallergy ang $ conversion sa credit card billing statement. haha! kaya i decided na bawasan yung items ko from US and i-maximize ang selling ng products na dito sa Pinas na makukuha.
i know madami na gumagawa ng online direct selling, pero sinubukan ko na din.
para na din makapag offer ng more affordable products.
maganda sana kung nakakapag manufactured ng own products, para may uniqueness kahit papano, kaso wala naman ako maisip ng gawin.

My friends and I started an online shop 1 month ago. Business is doing good so far usually mga friends and relatives namin ang nag purchase. I was just wondering how did you market or advertise your site? we want to have more customers online pero parang ang hirap since we use Facebook page lang hirap to get likes from people and we don't know how to reach out to them.
