Schools in Cavite

hi good day po mga mommy..

Im looking for school po for my 5y/o daughter.
actually nka-enroll sya from an academy school here in bacoor cavite.
kaya [textspeak!] dko nagustuhan ang turo even ang pag approach ng teacher s bata  very harsh. i dont think na matututo ang anak ko sa ganong klase ng pagtuturo ng teacher.. sobrang na bother ako and ready talaga ako to pull out my daughter.

Any suggestions po mga mommies..
Yung school po sana na maganda ang way of teaching and an english speaking school with nice facilities na din ( yung d po masyadong mabobored ang bata)
atleast 2 to 3 teachers.  ang budget ko po is atleast 20k to 30k. Near Sm bacoor po ang area ko..

That's unfortunate. Saang school yan? What exactly did the teacher do? Baka kailangan nang i-escalate sa Principal para naman hindi gawin ulit.

There are actually a lot of schools near your area, are you looking for a traditional or a progressive school?

Share ko lang :-) Napag-usapan kasi namin ng isa pang mommy sa CELL kanina...

During our first year, sabi ko ano kaya matututunan ng anak ko sa progressive school, araw-araw sila maraming songs, maraming activities/interactive discussions etc., hindi katulad sa traditional school na puro nakaupo lang ang bata at nag-didisscuss ang teacher. Now I realized, they learn more talaga through interactive methods, kasi katulad nung tanong ko nung unang year, ngayon pag iniisip ko yun, ang dami palang natutunan ng anak ko, whether it be academics or socialization. They don't just feed kids with information, they teach them to understand and experience, kumbaga, may depth ang learning nila. He's hiyang with the progressive method of teaching.

i also have the same question now. Iniisip ko kailan ko kaya makikitang nagbabasa na anak ko matutu kaya sya? mag addition etc.. hahaha pero im putting all my trust sa mga teachers lalo ke teacher cecille.

naninibago kasi ako parang bat s atraditional school hala ang dami na assignment sila wala. pero actually gusto ko yan walang assignment haha

sis dyann di na ko nakakahatid, nahiya ako approach ka last time na ako naghatid sa daughter hehe

wala pa ko masyado feedback sa school. everyday kasi tinatanong ko anak ko what she learn or what they sang, ayaw naman sumagot. but kanina, natuwa naman ako. we were talking when out of nowhere sabi nya mommy gusto ko maging teacher. sabi ko why, gusto nya raw magturo. this is the 1st time na sya nagbrought up ng topic, and confident na sabihin ano gusto nya. so im thinking it could be because of her teachers ☺

Any sis here has a child studying at SEIS? Hindi kasi ako naka attend ng Parent's Orientation kanina due to a meeting in the ofc.. Pa-share ng panagusapan. haha. I'd like to know kung kelan oorder for the modules at new uniforms nila. Thanks!

@amie30 nakita ko kayo kanina nung hinatid nyo daughter mo, nahiya naman din akong mag-hi sayo kasi parang nagmamadali kayo ng husband mo  kung napatingin ka samin mag-hi sana ako hehe 

@mistiqshannen ganyan din ako before, pero sabi nga ni Teacher Sam, natural na ang parents kakabahan, matatakot para sa kids natin, pero we have to put our trust din sa mga anak natin dahil lahat yan ay kaya naman daw ng mga bata  sa start talaga dahan-dahan ang approach nila, but halfway nakita ko natuto talaga sila. I can only tell based on our experience, sana ok din ang mga kids nyo sa K1 this school year

hi mga sis! I'm from Bacoor Cavite. I have a son na nag aral sa University of perpetual Help Molino. Kinder 1.

I dropped him na. the teachers can't handle my son daw.

Unfair lang kasi. in 2 weeks, nag give up na sila sa anak ko.

Mtagal na ako sa GT, I was active when I was pregnant to my son. dito ko nakuha mga info on pregnancy.

My regret is... I wasn't able to check this forum again. to know schools in cavite na fit sa anak ko.

last friday ko dnrop yung anak ko sa UPHR. then in the afternoon, I went to CELL. nagustuhan ko sila kasi they are accomodating and yung assessment on my son... detailed.

But.. they need the diagnosis muna from the Developmetal pedia. they would accept naman daw kahit August.

sis diwata25: So sad to hear about your experience... Did you get to have a one-on-one talk with his teachers and the school admin before he dropped him? I am just curious how they justified their actions which are very unacceptable for a school (an established one at that).

^Hi sis, I read your entry. Grabe na talaga most schools ngayon, pera-pera na lang. Sana makuha mo na ang refund mo at makapasok na ulit ang son mo sa ibang school. Okay sa CELL, umattend kami ng orientation dyan, very accommodating sila. And sana ma-maintain din nila ang low student to teacher ratio, para tutok sa mga bata. Good luck sis.

yes. parent-teacher conference. actually lahat ng teachers and guidance counselor.

the guidance counselor wanted to wait for the diagnosis of dev. pedia. para pwede iwork out with them. then, makita din progress ng son ko.

after a week, pinatawag na ako ng principal telling me that they cannot meet the needs of my son. i ask them na bigyan pa ng chance, ayaw na nila. so, I dropped him na.

umalis na nga yung bata, pati yung pera iniipit pa nila. grabe di ba?

I inquired sa CELL and mukhang okay naman. they assess my son. he has a possibility na may adhd. but she is not in the position to diagnose it. yung dev. pedia.

about the behavior, makukuha naman daw sa therapy. they are willing to help my son. hintayin lang yung diagnosis ng dev. pedia.

diwata25, I also know some kapitbahay na nilipat sa iba ang ang anak nila from PERPS.
Hindi ko pa sila actually nakakausap ng detail bakit.

My son goes to CELL with his cousin. K1 sila pareho. My daughter naman will go to CELL
next yr. They already informed me about her speech medyo nawawala daw yun unahan
and advice me to check with dev pedia din. She attended kasi the bean stalk class.
Im planning na isched sya sa dev pedia also to assess if me speech problem ba sya or what.
Pero they will still accept her..

My son is enrolled in Statefields School. He transferred when he was in Grade 2. I was not happy with San Beda Alabang kasi.

So far, wala akong masasabi g hindi maganda sa school. Sobrang satisfied ako sa lahat ng aspect. Of course hindi din sila perfect but I like the way they handle everything. I'm a happy mom with this school.

My child is enrolled in DLA. 3 years na sya dito and he's now Senior Kinder. Very satisfied naman ako sa school. He's also enrolled in Kumon sa Bahayang Pagasa.
