Finally, we got into Yakimix last night...

they start dinner at 530, but we felt that was too early for dinner... pagbalik namin ng 7pm, mahaba pa rin ang waiting list, pero may strict rule sila na pag tinawag ang name mo, dapat physically present ka or else, balik ka sa end ng line... by 8pm, mabilis na ang turn-over ng customers... napansin namin na halos every 5 mins, may mga nakakapasok na customers... (well, you just cant ignore them shouting "Irasshaimase!" evrytime new guests come in)... so if youre planning to got to Yakimix but dont want to wait that long, go there after 8pm... by that time, yung mga pumasok ng 530, palabas na.. ;)

we didnt have problems about the food... we tried almost everything, and satisfied kami... may times na nauubusan, but if you tell the waiters, mabilis naman sila magrefill... one thing tho' that i noticed, walang miso soup!... yan pa naman ang favorite ko sa japanese restos... anyway, i loved their sukiyaki soup... okay din yung meat variety nila, but i enjoyed the pinoy longganisa most of all dahil juicy sya... overwhelming yung dessert bar nila because of the colorful variety of food, marami naman dedma naman sa salad bar nila... ok yung ice drop nila, and the ice cream bar was hit...

how to eat here?.. it's not shabu-shabu since there's no boiling involved... it's really just about grilling the meat...

Yung mga cooked food ng yakimix, 'di masarap. Enjoy yung mga rolls/sushi. Overall though, I don't get why it's super popular. Ayoko magluto ng food ko. Ako na nagbayad, ako pa nagluto. 'Di ka din makarami kakahintay sa food mo na maluto. :P

Yakimix Podium - check!

didn't like it, parang nakontian ako sa selection.  Di pa ganun ka-accurate yung labels nung food.  Sa for grilling section dapat pala may salmon, naubusan lang.  Nung tapos na ko tsaka sya nag-appear.

It was my first time to eat at Yakimix Trinoma last Saturday, I was with my hubby and friends. Parang mas maaliwalas and mas maluwag yung place nila compared to the one in Macapagal (the original/first branch). Very attentive yung staff in getting the used plates, okay din yung pag-refill ng buffet items (although with the tempura, you really have to be vigilant to get your fair share :P). I mostly feasted on salmon and the fatty beef slices (with sauce, and the one with lotsa pepper) that we grilled...plus the sweet & sour fish fillet. And because I stayed away from the rice and maki, super-dami kong nakain na fish and beef ;D :o

first, there are condiments beside those to-be-grilled food you know.. :)) you just have to look around. :) syempre cook it yourself nga, so ikaw din bahala how you want your meat to taste like.. :))  2nd, you can always ask the waiters to do a refill.. :)

I dont hate sweet ulam, i can actually eat tocino and some other ulams na medyo sweet ang timpla, but for some reason, ako lang ba nakapansin na the porkribs cooked in strawberry tastes awful? parang strawberry jam and pork ribs lang ang lasa, literally. some of their ulams are really sweet din ang timpla, my mom said, baka sinasadya nila para makadagdag sa umay.

the desserts, nothing special, especially the "cheesecakes". i love lang that they have unlimited popsicles and ice cream. haha!

$ale... seeker!

^ yepp nothing special, yun nga lang, pinoys are hearty eaters and bonding para satin when we eat together, fun din kasi the luto luto thing tapos unlimited pa haha! but if i crave for real japanese food, id rather have buffet at saisaki, or dine at a better japanese resto somewhere else.. :) medyo di rin kasi masarap yung ibang pre-cooked ulam nila, some are too sweet, some are not really yummy talaga hehe!

I ate here last week with my two boy BFFs. Feeling ko nalugi sila sa amin hahaha! Kasi ako, since I'm trying (operative word is trying) not to eat red meat, I hoarded the salmon. Salmon sashimi, salmon skin sushi, and salmon for the grill. As in yun lang halos kinain ko plus some mushrooms and some interesting sushi. Pnagtatawanan pa nga ako ng friends ko bat daw ako kumuha ng kabute. haha! E sila syempre mga lalake, anlalakas kumain!

Cooked food, nothing special. I tried bites lang, share ng friend ko. I liked their fish fillet ba yun. Basta weird because I normally don't like sweet food. That was good.

ang pansn ko lang, ang ninipis ng hiwa ng salmon nila for the grill haha! dalawang minuto pa lang ata luto na, tapos since dumikit sa grill, ayun, pagkuha ko lasog lasog na. parang salmon flakes.

We'll go back here for my bday. Pero iniisip ko, for the price, mas ok na siguro mag dad's kami yung 3 buffets.. Para mas madami makain,di na magluluto. Haha

I went to Yakimix with my friend grabe 1 hour bago kami nakakain feel ko nalipasan na ako ng gutom since gutom na talaga kami when we arrived. The precooked food are not really tasty, but I love their hot and sour soup.  Yung on the spot grill nila masarap and their seafoods are really fresh unlike pag sa Saisaki lagi sumsakit ang tiyan ko and kapag nagpacheck up ako ang sasabihin ng Dr hindi na masyadong fresh yung nakain ko.  I don't like their desserts since hindi siya masarap super hilig kasi ako sa cakes kaya mataas ang expectation ko when it comes to these. Yung ice cream I find their selection super jologs ang mahal tapos yun lang.  If it's not because of the fresh seafood I will definitely not go back to Yakimix forever dahil hindi worth it ang paghihintay.
