sis  krissyL, my friend previously worked sa cognizant, wala daw ganun offer sa agent position, mapa voice or non-voice...

pag may voice daw 25K ang offer, mas mababa cyempre pag non-voice....

san mo nakita un may 45K silang offer sa cognizant?

I don't think may offer na 45k. It's way beyond the standard salary for that position in this industry. Usually offered yung ganyang rate for Supervisor/Trainer levels depending on years of experience.

I would be wary of companies who would give really big salaries especially if they're quite new because these are the ones who have tendencies of folding up. It's better to look into long term benefits such as yearly appraisals, retirement, HMO etc.

I've heard of this relatively new center in BGC (banking) na 44k daw ang offer sa experienced agents (Voice) - for real kaya ito? 'May pangalan' yung company eh so I am assuming it's possible - pero parang natataasan ako ng bongga sa offer para sa Tier 1 agent (kahit pa experienced). Nasilaw ang isa kong friend and left her already very stable company for it. Can't blame her entirely kasi 44K ba naman.

But I totally agree with sis twelvth_goddess on not being attracted to bigger salaries, there's always a catch eh.

^It's like when Bank of America opened in BGC. There were so many people from JP Morgan who moved there because of the salary. When it closed the entire site late last year, nagbalikan sila sa JP Morgan. Even companies with stable and steady names can fold up if it can't keep up with the industry. Yan din sabe ng mga recruiters namin.

^ I think yung Xerox (now Atos) and Vestas occasionally may non-voice job openings. Check ka lang from time to time sa JobStreet. Check ka din ng kahit ibang location, kahit di mismo sa MOA area, baka may medyo malapit sayo or at least accessible naman ang work location. Filter mo lang yung job search mo ng non-voice/back office, etc.

Before I always brag about the perks what people will get if they apply sa CVG which includes the retirement pay, good health benefit coverage, annual increase, etc.). kaso nakakahiya na maghikayat kasi wala na halos lahat ng sinabi ko. ano pa ipagmamalaki ko na wala sa ibang company?
