Voluntary Pagibig and Phil Health Contribution

1 year ako hindi naka bayad ng SSS ko. And am pregnant buti na lang April 2012 pa ako manganganak. Sabi I just have to pay July to December then tuloy tuloy na para may makuha ako by April 2012 whewww..

Itutuloy ko na lang din Pagibig ko. Yung philhealth naka ride naman kami kay hubby.

may mga accredited ata silang banks sis. ask ko lang, nagdeclare ka pa ba sa kanila na self employed ka? nag resign kasi ako last year gusto ko sana maging voluntary nalang.

9 years akong nagcontribute sa Philhealth and Pagibig nung employed pa ako. Last August 2014, I resigned to be a housewife, since then di pa ako nagresume ng payment ko. My husband is a Philhealth member pero hindi pa nya ako nareregister as a dependent.

If I get preggy and maging due on September of this year, pwede pa bang habulin ang pagvoluntary member sa Philhealth para makaavail ng benefits? parang pasok pa naman since ang nabasa ko sa website nila

Or since pwede naman ako ideclare as dependent ni hubby, i let go ko na ang nabayaran ko sa philhealth dati?

^you can continue your payments as individually paying member.. hanggang March 31 pa ata ang deadline of payment (quarterly, semi-annually, annually).. or you ask your husband to update his MDR to declare you as dependent (that's what we did, nagstop na muna ako paying philhealth at dependent na lang ni husband)..

Hi Sis lgf08, salamat sa pag reply. parang mas sulit nga na maging dependent na lang. tumawag din ako sa hotline, hindi ko na daw pwede pay yung last year, yung for January to March nalang. And pareho lang daw makukuha kong benefit pag member and pag dependent. so sayang lang yung 200 if nagbabayad naman din si hubby. nung nagpadependent ka ba, sa hr na ni hubby sinubmit yun deactivation letter mo? thanks ulit! =)

^individually paying member kasi si hubby ko so direct na sya sa Philhealth office nagpa-update.. tapos nung nideclare ako na dependent, hindi naman nanghingi ng deactivation letter.. kelangan daw ba un? sorry if naka-confuse

blueberryalmond, when I got married and had my husband listed as my dependent in Philhealth, he had to sign some form stating that he's officially discontinuing his own separate membership. I guess that's the form that you need. Philhealth furnished it for us.

The benefits you get are exactly the same whether you're a member or a dependent, but when you're a dependent, any hospitalization is covered for only 45 days in a year (as opposed to a full year for a paying member). If a member has 2 or more dependents, those 45 days are further divided and shared among all the dependents.

sis ikaela, ah so si philhealth pala nagprovide ng form na to. thanks for the clarification. so 45 days lang pala ang coverage ko. hindi naman namention sakin to nung customer service ng philhealth. thanks si. =)

Hi po! Anyone here po na nag-savings program 2 (MP2) sa Pagi-ibig?  Mas malaki po ba ang interest nito or sa mutual fund?

How much yung contribution sa pag-ibig kapag voluntary member ka? Do you still get the same benefits kapag employed ka?

^interested din ako sa increased Pag-ibig fund contribution. balak ko sana gawing 2k yung akin kapag nakalipat ako sa ibang work na mas malaki ang salary. sa ngayon kasi naka-allocate na yung salary namin pati yung investments namin sa mutual funds at VUL...

Mga sis, P100 per month lang ang contribution pag voluntary Pag-ibig member. Pero pwede hanggang P200 din per month.

For employed members naman, may pi-fill up-an na form para sa increased contributions. Sa HR nakakakuha nung form na yun.

I think if you're a voluntary member there is no limit on how much you want for your contribution.  I am a voluntary member and every year, I increase my contribution and there's no problem with it.  This is what was told to me also by a Pag-ibig employee that I met in the province.
